My experience with Choice Surrogacy was nothing short of incredible! From med checks and transfer all the way through pregnancy, delivery, and even now in my postpartum stage, Trish and Chloe have been there every step of the way. Anytime I needed something, had a question, or just even needed a little reassurance (which happened a couple times, haha) they were incredibly easy to reach and always made sure I had everything I needed. One of my favorite things about Choice was how personal and simple the entire process felt. There weren't a bajillion different people to contact/hoops to jump through just to get something handled. It was Trish and Chloe from start to finish. Even with Trish being the head of the company, I could still reach out and connect with her directly whenever I needed something. That level of accessibility and support was something I couldn't find anywhere else when choosing an agency, and it followed me through my entire journey. More than anything though, I never felt like just another body on a list. They took the time to actually get to know not just me but my kiddos and husband, cared about my well being, celebrated milestones alongside me and my intended parents, and made sure I quite literally had everything I needed from beginning to end. Even now that I've delivered (6 weeks ago!) that support hasn't disappeared. They continue to check in and be there for me throughout postpartum. Unfortunately, because of the number of C-sections I've had, this will be my one and only surrogacy journey. But if I were able to do it all over again, there wouldn't even be a question. My experience as a hopeful surrogate (gestational carrier) started off like all the other positive reviewers. Trish is a skilled saleswoman, bragging about how her agency is simply the best so I did not even consider any others. I expediently completed their questionnaires, interview, psych evaluation, health information requests plus other various hoops they hurried me to get through. They told me I cleared my medical records screening and that they found a match for me. This was earlier this spring. Their contract states monthly payments of $500 begin once medical records are cleared and there is a match. Except that did not happen, because then they later told me that the clinic decided against moving forward. Okay? I was confused but trusted them. A couple of months later, Choice said they found another clinic that approved my records (CCRM the Memorial location in Houston). They set me up on a match meeting with another couple and I accepted. Chloe emailed me stating I would finally start receiving my monthly payments. CCRM instructed me to begin taking birth control they sent to my pharmacy. Then later Choice told me CCRM changed their minds, because they now wanted confirmation that I did not have adenomyosis first (when I did not). The couple I matched with was crushed. I still expected to receive my monthly payments, because the misshap on their end was not my fault and I did my part according to the contract. But I still had both a transvaginal ultrasound AND a vaginal MRI done anyway at my own expense to confirm I did not have adenomyosis (and of course I did not have it). I then asked Choice if I could be reimbursed for the co-payment. They ignored the question. I asked about the status of the couple that I had met and matched with. They ignored that question too. I asked about next steps with CCRM or other clinics. They read the question in the chat and again simply chose not to respond a word. They flat out ghosted me after that for months, until I terminated our agreement. I requested my file from them and of course they won't provide it. It has been weeks since then, so this review is long overdue and they definitely had it coming. I truly wasted so many critical months with this agency, and also went on birth control because of CCRM for zero reason. If you are intended parents considering spending thousands of your hard earned dollars in the 5-digits on either of them, I would seriously reconsider. I intend to speak about my experience soon on social media since my comments about them keeps getting deleted in Facebook groups (I'm pretty sure they bribed them to remove them or they are secretly the admins). Trish is a master gaslighter who will try to spin this another way and deflect blame, but I have kept screenshots of everything and happy to share it. Feel free to email me if you want more details. Surrogacy is deeply personal, and when medical decisions change unexpectedly, it can feel incredibly unfair. Because IVF clinics only determine medical eligibility, we at Choice Surrogacy do not approve medical records, and those determinations can evolve, agencies like ours don't control whether a match can proceed. When a clinic declines to move forward, intended parents have no ability to continue, regardless of everyone’s best intentions. Despite two separate medical declinations, Choice Surrogacy elected, in good faith, to issue a $500 payment on 08/28/2025 following an in-depth phone conversation. This amount exceeded any documented out-of-pocket expenses. The discussion was conducted respectfully and with only kindness and well wishes expressed. I just matched with the MOST incredible intended parents, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited! At first glance, from the website, it seems like this is an ethical agency. However, during my call with them, the owner Trish hard-sold me her program. She picked up on words that I was using and repeated them back to me to convince me that the program was the best choice. She asked about other agencies I was checking out and gave me tons of reasons why they weren't good choices. Then, she insisted that I use the reproductive attorney that she would choose for me, instead of the attorney that I was already working with. After I expressed some discomfort to that, she said that it's important to use only the best of the best attorneys in the business and implied that the attorney I was working with wasn't as good as hers (which just isn't true though). After the initial consultation, she told me she would follow up with more information about the program, send across referrals, etc. but I never heard from her again. It was a very icky consultation with a lot of red flags, and left me feeling disappointed and disheartened.…

It’s never my intention for anyone to feel pressured or uncomfortable, and I apologize that my approach came across that way. We have so many folks to help and much education and information to share. I see my role in the surrogacy process as providing expert guidance—drawing on over 30 years of experience and a deep passion for helping intended parents and surrogates navigate this complex journey with as much legal and financial protection as possible. I’d like to clarify that the name provided in your review does not reflect a consultation with me at Choice Surrogacy. However I did have a conversation with one couple, the only one I can remember having issues with our attorney referral we give, that were adamant about using their own personal family attorney with no experience in surrogacy and I mentioned I would ask (or they could ask) our recommended attorney to allow the family attorney to review the Gestational Carrier Agreement. I also may have spent more than an hour and half being with you as you shared you have had some negative experiences with other agencies and I wanted to be sure I listened to you and intentfully helped by comparing the differences in other agencies vs Choice you brought to me. We only use one firm that has been the creator of much original surrogacy law for our country. I too have worked with California Legislature to pass a Family Code law in California. Bill AB 2344 the first law ever to connect liability of insurance regarding both parents and surrogate to the surrogacy agreement. The attorneys we work with also insert all our one-of-a-kind financial programs within the GCA, therefore, encompassing the detailed proprietary plan, it is not a typical escrow or GCA. Choice is unique in the industry and to compare against others is often misunderstood in standard contracts. Our attorney referrals also act for our international clients as a claim’s negotiator, free of charge, for their newborn here in the states with no insurance coverages. During this time in our country’s state of the government where the laws of surrogacy could be unknown in the near future, we must have keen attorneys on our side, meaning the surrogate side and the parent side in order to circumvent any unexpected changes in the law that may come our way. Of course, there are no fees shared between us and any attorneys as that is completely not legal. I do not understand the use of the red flag comment. We also gave no referrals to you as you never responded, yes, you would enjoy working with us. We only refer once we have a verbal or written agreement of the parents desire to work with us. There are many opinions about surrogacy practices, and it’s common for longstanding agencies to refer their clients to specific attorneys based on trusted relationships and past successes for their clients and surrogates. Some agencies are even owned by the surrogacy attorney or have partners that are surrogacy attorneys. At Choice, we work very intimately with intended parents for an average of 12-15 months, guiding each case with care and expert insight to ensure a predictable and well-protected process. Considering the depth and duration of support we offer, I respectfully ask that you review your impression based on a single phone call. Negative reviews of this nature can have a significant impact on a business and on my ability to help others in the future. I just completed my first journey in may of this year and it was an incredible experience. I cannot recommend this agency enough. As a first time surrogate I had many worries when choosing an agency. With Choice not only was it extremely personal working directly with the owners instead of a coordinator but you could tell they had true passion for everything they do. I never had to worry about payments for bills or compensation. Offering one of the highest allowances was a plus! They are very thorough, so matching was great and I absolutely adored my IPs. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process from pre journey questions, matching, insurance, medical clearance, legal, meds, delivery, postpartum and everything in between. They truly made this a stress free experience where I could just focus on helping a family grow and relax while doing so. I never had to worry about payments for bills or compensation. Offering one of the highest allowances was a plus! They are very thorough, so matching was great and I absolutely adored my IPs. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process from pre journey questions, matching, insurance, medical clearance, legal, meds, delivery, postpartum and everything in between. They truly made this a stress free experience where I could just focus on helping a family grow and relax while doing so. I cannot say enough about how helpful it was and how appreciated I felt with the amount of check ins during pregnancy and post partum just to make sure I was doing well and chat. I do NOT recommend Choice Surrogacy to anyone considering using them. My experience as a surrogate (gestational carrier) started off like all the other positive reviewers. Trish is a skilled saleswoman, bragging about how her agency is simply the best so I did not even consider any others. I expediently completed their questionnaires, interview, psych evaluation, health information requests plus other various hoops they hurried me to get through. They told me I cleared my medical records screening and that they found a match for me. This was last spring. Their contract that I signed states monthly payments of $500 begin once medical records are cleared and there is a match. Except that did not happen, because then they later told me that the clinic decided against moving forward. I was confused but trusted them. A couple of more months later, Choice said they found another clinic that approved my records (CCRM the Gessner location in Houston). They set me up on a match meeting with another couple and I accepted. Chloe emailed me stating I would finally start receiving my monthly payments. CCRM instructed me to start taking birth control they ordered to my pharmacy. Then later Choice told me CCRM changed their minds, because they now wanted confirmation that I did not have adenomyosis first (when I did not). The couple I matched with was crushed. I still expected to receive my monthly payments, and they gave me only one and that was it. And even trying to get that was like scraping nails on chalkboard. It was not some "compensatory" gift like she will claim, it was what they owed to me period according to the contract. The payments should have continued monthly because the misshap on their end was not my fault, and I did everything I was supposed to on my end. And even after I took time off from my job to complete both a transvaginal ultrasound AND a pelvic MRI done at my own expense to confirm I did not have adenomyosis (which cost my insurance thousands of dollars, and of course I did not have it) I then asked Choice if I could be reimbursed for the co-payment. They ignored the question. I asked about the status of the couple that I had met and matched with. They ignored that question too. I asked about next steps with CCRM or other clinics. They read the question in the chat and again simply chose not to respond a word. They flat out ghosted me after that for months, until I terminated our agreement. I requested my file from them and of course they won’t provide it. So this review is long overdue and they definitely had it coming. I truly wasted so many critical months with this agency that I will never get back, and also went on birth control because of CCRM for zero reason. If you are intended parents considering spending thousands of your hard earned dollars with Choice Surrogacy or CCRM, I would seriously consider taking my business elsewhere. Trish is a master gaslighter who will try to spin this another way and deflect blame in her response after this below what I post, but I have kept screenshots of everything and happy to share it. I used choice for my first journey and I wouldn't use them again.A lot of surrogates have complained, me included, about not getting lost wages during postpartum recovery. They usually use the all-inclusive package and the higher monthly allowance to kind of "make up" for it. And to be fair, they did check in on me every now and then, but that was pretty much it. If you decide to go with them, I'd just make sure your contract has childcare expenses and postpartum recovery reimbursements written in a way that benefits you, not them. Again, they're not a terrible agency, I just feel like there are some areas where they could take advantage of surrogates if you're not careful.…
I went through them for my first surrogacy, but wouldn't choose them again. If you decide to work with them, make sure to secure your lost wages after delivery. Unfortunately, many surrogates, including myself, have had issues with payment. They're not the worst, but better agencies are out there. I was surprised they didn't follow up after my 6-week postpartum checkup.

I am working with them as well. Trish and Chloe have been great. They always respond my text quickly and pay the medical bills right away. They would notify me before they are gone. They also booked a nice hotel room for me when I traveled. I am having really positive experiences with Choice so far. Did you get paid more for your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th than your first time?

I recently started working with Choice. Trish and Chloe are extremely dedicated and always follow through. I would try and reschedule with them, I think you would be happy with how they handle everything, especially their communication. In my experience they reply the same day, or next day, depends on my question and when I message them. They are always on point and propmt with every question I have, and making sure that all sides are on the same page, every step of the journey.
Hi there! I worked with Choice my first journey and now I am on my second with them. I would 100% say give them another chance. Like everyone has said above, yes, your time is valuable but I promise they value your time. It had to have been something very emergent for them to cancel meetings.
