They have a sign posted that no children are allowed due to sensitive matters of the practice and that they strictly enforce it. However, lately, EVERY TIME I came in, there have been AT LEAST two families with little children. Thanks for rubbing it in that you have kids while I’ve been trying to have my first for two years.

I recently visited the clinic to start a FET. I moved from NYC, where my embryos are stored. I saw Dr. Chilvers and asked all sorts of questions as to how this process would work. Several times during our meeting, she mentioned that they usually don’t prefer FET’s where they weren’t involved in the initial retrieval/fertilization. This is because they couldn’t rely on the quality of the embryo and didn’t want a “failure” to impact their success rates. I was super shocked to hear that she was more concerned about her numbers rather than my attempt at getting pregnant again. No woman going through this process wants to think about a failed FET pregnancy, so hearing her say it over and over again was depressing. I decided immediately after the appointment with Dr. Chilvers that i would go back to NYC for the actual transfer, instead of doing so through Fertility Specialist of TX. This meant I would only need Fertility Specialist of TX to “monitor” me. Do bloodwork, send results to NYC, etc. I spoke to Jessica Blair, who apparently takes care of all monitoring patients. In our first conversation, she gave me instructions on how my NYC clinic should send her instructions. Pretty short convo and not at all helpful or informative. I called her a week later to confirm if she had gotten an email with instructions from NY. She said she had not received anything. I told her I’m 100% positive she has instructions and to check her inbox again. She checks and what do you know, she has the email from NYC. I’m thinking all good at this point. A few days later, i called Jessica again because i wanted to ensure when i went in for Day 2 monitoring, my NYC clinic would get results same day. She told me yes, as long as i come in before 10:30am. I also asked if this was the case on weekends. She told me they don’t see out-of-State monitoring patients on weekends. I was surprised that this was not ever brought up during our initial conversation! Time is of the essence when you are doing FET and if i couldn’t be seen on a weekend, that’s an issue! I asked how we are so far along this process and I’m just hearing about this now. I asked to be transferred to her manager, Clifton. He told me that he’d speak to the lead nurse, who at the time of our convo, was on her way into the clinic. Clifton said that he would ask about weekend monitoring for out-of-State transfers and give me a call by 2pm that same day. I still haven’t heard back from Clifton. I’ve decided to ditch Fertility Specialist of TX altogether and go to CCRM. The staff is way more professional and seem better equipped to handle IVF/FET. If there were zero stars allowed, the clinic, Dr. Chilvers, Jessica Blair and Clifton would all receive zero ratings. I am shocked at how unprofessional and unorganized this clinic operates.

Don’t bother if you’re over 40. Dr Chilvers may be a great surgeon and gynecologist, but I think she’s an RE because of the money. They have 1 protocol. There is no ability, apparently, to customize based on personal situation or age. If you read up on the work CHR is doing (in NYC), you’ll see that they’re getting better results by customizing treatment protocols, including when and HOW to retrieve follicles. Dr Chilvers put me on a standard regimen and failed to retrieve all mature follicles, meaning my chance at being a mother a 2nd time with my own eggs was completely lost.I know it seems difficult, but find the right doctor even if it means traveling. There are ways, and places that will finance. Thanks for the reply, but do let me know what calling you will do. You can’t go back in time and my insurance won’t cover me with my own eggs any longer. So, what would be accomplished?Oh, and I forgot, Brandy was horribly argumentative. Leslie, however, was very sweet.

Dr. Skora is the most caring doctor I have ever come across in my life. Even after checking out of his care, he constantly checked on my family and I. He made sure to always be available when I had questions and always responded expeditiously. I would recommend him to anyone, he truly loves what he does and cares about his patients. Not only was he caring but was a subject matter expert who was able to answer any and all questions immediately and I never had to hear the dreadful “I’ll get back to you”. Dr. Skora always explained everything to my husband and I and never made us feel like a burden when asking lots of questions.

I worked at this location for one day and was hired as a new Patient coordinator. Whether you are looking for employment opportunities or being a patient, please be aware as the management is really horrible! I moved from the Northeast only to the worst management and training. They handed me work and nobody adequately trained me. They let me go in 1 day telling me that I am not a good fit. How can you tell from one day if somebody is qualified or not? I was also told that the person previous to me was better then me but they let her go because they thought I was a better fit. That means they are hiring and firing people on the spot. This place is a big joke. I am so happy it was only a day because that makes this place look like they are worthless. Shame on such employers who are taking employees on a ride.

As I sit here smiling at almost 35 weeks pregnant feeling my sweet baby boy’s kicks and moves in my stomach, I will forever be thankful for everyone at our clinic that made our pregnancy possible. We had a 0% chance of conceiving without IVF and had a long 4 years of struggling to get to our miracle baby. Fertility Specialists of Texas in Frisco, TX—the staff and nurses at this place are the best hands down. I absolutely loved everyone from all the staff remembering who we were each visit, to being on top of accommodating us with being out of state & 3 hours away with testing, surgeries and results, I am forever grateful for everyone we came into contact with while fighting so hard for our baby. Brandi, Leann, Charlotte, Felecia, Amanda, Diana, Jessica, all of the Courtneys in the billing department, the sweet dark headed ultrasound tech who I can never remember her name, Jesse in the lab, Dr. Guerrero and Dr. Goldstein- all of you made such an impact during one of the most stressful times in our life. I am so thankful for all of the hard work and dedication everyone at the clinic put towards our goal of getting pregnant. We will be back for baby #2 when the time comes!

Fertility Specialists of Texas and Dr. Patel did the most amazing and miraculous thing for me when they helped me become a single Mom, on purpose! I found myself at a place in life I think a lot of women experience these days. Nearer to 40 than 30 and missing something. The traditional soulmate hadn’t come knocking yet. My closest friends and sister started having children and I wanted that too. I wanted to raise my children surrounded and molded by their families. Every annual gyn appointment I heard the same. “Have you thought about having children?” And of course though worded more delicately, “Your clock is ticking!” Little did I know not only was it ticking but the battery life was in the red. I came to FST recommended by my doctor because Dr. Patel was a peer of hers. She had wonderful things to say and I really thought I’d just go to be informed, see what my timeline and options really were. I didn’t expect to leave the appointment barely able to drive I was crying so hard. I suspect anyone reading this knows a little of this despair. It may seem like an overreaction to some but to us sisters of infertility the abstract emptiness of a womb that longs to carry your child is a lot different than the sudden knowledge that there is a very real possibility it never will. My initial hormone levels didn’t look high enough to support trying IVF, Dr. Patel was afraid even with medications I wouldn’t have enough stimulated follicles to harvest. When he delivered this news he was kind and most importantly of all honest on what my statistics were. He offered me realistic advice and let me know all I could do was try and he would support me with all of his medical knowledge and skill. Spoiler alert but there is a happy ending to this story! I now have a 9 month old bundle of amazingness that I can’t believe has been outside of me as long as she was in me. Luckily my levels responded well to treatment and even with a few bumps along the way myself and my daughter are a FST success story! There are days that are hard but I have a suspicion kiddos bring out the stress even with two adults involved. FST staff and Dr. Patel never acted like I couldn’t do this as a single Mom and were nothing but supportive every step of the way. Being single wasn’t my identity, I was their patient and I wanted to have a child and they wanted to help me do that if they could. I hope this review is helpful and I don’t mind a PM if anyone has any questions! I especially hope this touched anyone single out there that might be where I was. We live in a time of abundant and cutting edge medical technology. This path to pregnancy may not be the one you dreamed of as a girl staring at your baby pictures but when you hold your daughter for the first time and it finally clicks, she’s really yours, an amazing gift that you created none of that matters. Reach out to FST and see if they can help. I feel that’s ultimately what they want, to help you try and say you did everything you could. Hopefully the end is a successful pregnancy and delivery but they’re there for the bad news too and to help you however they can. Thanks for reading! -Kristi

Yes, definitely recommend. Dr. Goldstein was wonderful, didn’t rush us into IVF as some other clinics we went to. He took the time to do testing that was necessary before. I have a history of reoccurring miscarriages, but happy to announce that we are 26.2 weeks pregnant with our IVF baby (a girl). We transfered one embryo in June and here we are. Couldn’t have done it without the help of Fertility Specialist of Texas and we are forever grateful.

EDIT TO ADD: If they actually cared, they would have contacted me instead of writing an insincere response; it’s not like this was an anonymous review.Basically, if you have unlimited funds and don’t care if you are treated like a person, this is an OK practice. If you’re on the fence, go somewhere else; don’t ignore the countless red flags like we did. Cons: – Never once received an accurate or personalized financial quote for treatment. Every single time I asked for details about the financial aspect I was treated with hostility and disrespect from the billing department. – Was initially seeking least invasive fertility options but was assured I had a >75% chance of getting pregnant with IVF based on my initial diagnosis, which also meant I spent 10X as much money as I initially planned but still ended up with no pregnancy. – My provider would not entertain doing additional diagnostic tests after multiple failed transfers despite my preference for having answers instead of just trying again with the same protocol and failed results. – After all embryos were exhausted, we sought information about enlisting a gestational carrier to eliminate maternal factors. I took PTO to go to Frisco for a “consultation” (read: meet with people who can’t explain anything more than what’s on the print out they are going to give you), I was way under-quoted on the price of the actual IVF and the “ personalized quote” didn’t include anything related to the gestational carrier process (extra blood work, ICSI, etc.). To add insult to injury, the “financial” representative didn’t even verify my insurance and said that would take an additional two weeks (even though I have been a patient for two years). It was a horrendous waste of our time and after 2 years and lots of money spent on unsuccessful treatment, frankly, it was disrespectful. And they billed my insurance for meeting with a physician when I did NOT even meet with an MD that day. – When I complained about the above bullet, my husband spoke with practice owner as well as the practice manager who promised to follow up with us a few weeks later to “check-in on us”. SEVEN MONTHS LATER AND WE HAVEN’T HEARD A WORD. – This is a direct quote from my provider when I asked about the potential link between my BMI to poor IVF outcomes and higher maternal mortality rates: “Our job is to get you pregnant; you can worry about the other stuff later.” – They provide no mental health screening or grief support after failed treatment. This is not a compassionate practice so don’t let that bit of advertising fool you. When I told my provider how bad I felt they didn’t even have resources at the ready – I had to seek out my own mental health treatment. Thanks for failing me when I was barely strong enough to say how badly I felt. – No personalized protocols exist – they only follow carefully crafted protocols that yield the best statistics with zero regard for patient preference, cost, timing, etc. – Treatment plans are not flexible enough to be adjusted to your schedule (don’t let the advertisement fool you – this is a rigid operation set up to maximize profit, it’s not going to be flexible). – Received zero sympathy when I was extremely sick from FET medicines. I was offered no solutions for side effects during FET and certainly nothing was offered to deal with long-lasting side effects after the failed treatments because they didn’t even care enough to check on me. When I sought solutions from other providers, I was told I could not use them during FET. – You are truly just a number at this practice. They only celebrate you and support you if you are successful at getting pregnant. If you are in the 70%+ of women that aren’t successful at IVF, good luck getting any empathy or support from this practice.

I’d like to thank Dr. Goldstein for his wonderful care in helping my husband and I conceive our 1st and only child. After almost 2 years of infertility treatments at a different facility and being told I would never be able to have a healthy child due to my age (41yo) recommending egg donor as the only option I decided to take a break and sought a second opinion from a doctor in South Texas (McAllen) who after an ultrasound at my first visit discovered my fibroids and recommended surgery before attempting IVF. I obviously wanted to have the myomectomy done close to my home and after some research my husband and I decided to come to FST. I was obviously concerned about my age and conceiving a healthy child but Dr. Goldstein explained to my husband and I our options and it just felt I had someone on my side, believing in miracles.Long story short I had the myomectomy done and after 2 months a fresh transfer and a positive and successful pregnancy within 4 months! Wishing everyone the best of luck and praying for many more miracles!

I would absolutely recommend Fertility Specialists of Texas! Just a couple of years ago, I never imagined even needing a place like this. When we found out from another doctor that IVF was the only real option for my husband and I to have a baby together, we were ready to give up on the idea completely. After research and a physician referral led us to the exact same place – Dr. Goldstein at FST – we decided it wouldn’t hurt to just set up a consultation to find out more. Little did we know we would walk out with new hope and determination in addition to a specific plan. With no fertility insurance coverage, it was still a gamble, but there is no one we would rather have trusted with helping to grow our family. Everyone at FST was very patient with us, and Dr. Goldstein was committed to making sure everything was optimal before finally transferring our precious embryo… now our little miracle baby. 🙂

We found Fertility Specialists of Texas by recommendation of my regular OB after not getting pregnant on our own for more than a year. I was in my early 30s and did not want to continue to wait. We were paired with Dr Goldstein and couldn’t have been more pleased. During our very first visit, he set aside an hour just to talk to us about what we wanted to accomplish, our test results, and what an appropriate course of treatment would be. Dr G gave us all the options – the most expensive/aggressive to the least invasive. He was honest with us about success rates and how we fell into those categories. We decided to do IUI first, and unfortunately it failed. We moved directly to IVF and it was successful, giving us a beautiful healthy girl, born exactly on her due date! The nurses and office staff were so kind and considerate every time I went in. I called in one morning after experiencing some side effects, and the nurse assured me not to worry and even called me later in the day to check on me. On the day we transferred our embryos, the embryologist came into the room, with a picture of them, handed them to me, and said, “Mrs Robinson, here are your babies.” I wasn’t just another patient. I was a person, a mom. My husband and I needed a minute to mourn the loss of the embryos that did not make it, and the doctors were incredibly supportive in giving us those few minutes alone. We are so thankful to God and to Fertility Specialists of Texas for giving us the privilege to be parents, after several miscarriages! AND we’ve recently been able to conceive on our own, giving us a healthy (SURPRISE!) baby boy, which I also attribute to our time spent with Dr Goldstein. It’s like he was able to give my body a jump start. Forever grateful!

if you don’t like your outcome or are unsure if you’re on the best treatment plan don’t be afraid to ask for a second opinion. This facility can provide everything you’ll more than likely need, but warning any type of fertility treatment is an emotional tedious process regardless of where you go. They’re not God unfortunately, but I hope whoever is reading this is successful! I’ve had two transfers and no luck yet, thanks to my husband I haven’t given up hope. Make sure you have a lot of emotional support going into this! If you come to them with issues regarding their practice, you may have to be persistent but they will attempt to resolve them. His nurses at Frisco & Southlake move expeditiously & they are great at keeping you informed. My husband & I did 3 rounds of IVF with very low ovarian reserve in a 2 year period. At times things seemed hopeless, but now we have our miracle baby & 1 more frozen waiting to join us.

Where can I start… I sought out Fertility Specialists of Texas with hopes of having growing our family. At first they were eager about my process as well, yet my IVF cycle was unsuccessful, and my husband and I chose a donor route instead. In that process, I had an ultrasound done at another location, and was told I had a large ovarian cyst. My OBgyn advised me to contact Dr. Patel to see whether this was pre-existing or had recently developed and became almost 6cm. I went from her office to his the same day, they scanned my results in and said that he would call me. Then crickets. I then sent a message on the portal, and crickets. no response. I did eventually receive a follow up message saying they don’t know what happened but would find out. And then crickets, no response. I had to have this addressed, and didn’t feel comfortable pursuing a doctor that was NOT CONCERNED ABOUT MY HEALTH. Just when I was about to close the wound of having a doctor who wasn’t concerned about my health, I then receive a 90 days past due letter saying they were send out account to collections for $10.00 that was Already previously paid! I called and spoke with the practice manager who assured me that this was not the case and would get back with me…..guess what happened? crickets…        BOTTOM LINE??? They ONLY care when they knew they could MAX MY INSURANCE. When I chose to not continue cycles, MY HEALTH WAS OF ABSOLUTELY NO CONCERN TO THEM.    In a process which is already emotional, please use great caution in choosing a facility that is genuinely concerned about your health, rather than the bottom line of making money off of you. I pray that they are able to sleep well at night knowing how much they made me cry over this situation.

After a year of trying to conceive via IVF for a wonderful family, we came to Dr. Goldstein. We are now successfully pregnant with twins. We could not have been happier with our experience with Dr. G and his staff. They were very caring and phenomenal to work with. Dr. G has a very clear passion for his work and it shows in how much he cares for his patients and helping them build their families.

Horrible experience, this clinic is not about helping families at all. They run like a pure profit business only. Cold ignorant staff and Dr Patel seems to only recommend procedures that will profit the company rather than what is best for each individual family. I am so upset we have wasted over a year and thousands of dollars with no help. After seeking multiple other opinions we now realize we should have done more research and gone elsewhere. I hope families that need help having children will get multiple opinions from different Clinics before selecting this facility! They don’t return phone calls, and the dr is impossible to reach with concerns!!

When I first went to this place 4 years ago, I must say I was impressed by how they were ready to help us start our family. My husband was diagnosed with Cancer at that time and myself had multiple miscarriages. We decided that IVF would be the way for us. In the process of being tested for everything, they informed us that my husband tested positive for Hepatitis (in which he did not have it we were tested at another facility and results were different). They then went on to explain to us that we could not store our embryos at their facility because he tested positive for Hepatitis. I told them that at that time my husband was in the hospital and that I could not make a decision to move or discard anything until I talked it over with him, not to mention we had exhausted our funds with chemotherapy and IVF. If we were to place them in an outside storage, our insurance would not have covered it. My husband finally got out of the hospital in which it was the day we were to get an Ultrasound for our positive pregnancy result:) We were approached by the finance management. Her name was Ashley. I will never forget her name or her mean looking face!! She took my husband and I into a room to discuss our embryos being removed from their facility or to discard them. We asked her to please give us time and she said NO I NEED AN ANSWER NOW!! My husband and I both looked at each other like WOW is this really happening. Out of money and no option we signed the paper to have our embryos discarded:( This is really the short version…….. Dr. Chilvers called me later on that day. I didn’t want to get ASHLEY in trouble and I told her that it was ok we were fine when we were dying inside about getting rid of what could have been our sons or daughters in the future. Thru it all we ended up with a little girl. We did try again and I tried to come clean to Dr. Chilvers about what happened and why we got rid of our Embryos. In a nut shell she basically told me to be happy with what I had. That really crushed me especially because the second time around none of my embryos survived:( I have spoken to a lawyer and they said that we have a case due to signing under pressure. My husband was fresh out of the hospital barely able to get around and his wish was to have a child or children in this world to leave a legacy behind. I will continue to consult with my lawyer and pray that this does not happen to anyone ever again. FST just know that my family and I are not out to hurt you but we will have justice for what hurt us.

I had the opportunity to work with Dr Goldstein after previously working with another specialist at another practice with no results. Dr Goldstein guides you through every step of the way. He takes the time to talk with and listen to each patient; I always felt very comfortable discussing my treatment, asking questions, voicing concerns, and never felt rushed in appointments. I feel like he truly cares about my family and goals of growing it. After our 1st round of IVF with ICSI, I’m happy to say that our healthy, perfect, beautiful, baby boy was born this past December! I Would NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants to have some kind of input on the whole fertility process. I was denied the option to attempt an at home insemination because i wasn’t being monitored by my doctor keep in mind this is all unmedicated he didn’t feel comfortable signing a form that was needed to have the vials shipped to my home so that I could attempt a cycle at home but he did feel comfortable releasing any vials to me to perform the procedure at home had I stored it at THEIR facility and wasn’t being monitored. What’s the difference? I’ll tell you what’s the difference the fact that I would’ve been spending money with them made it ok by storing vials at their facility but because I no longer wanted the horrible monitoring that was done in which resulted in a failed cycle that they KNEW was going to fail because I was told after the fact the procedure was performed two days after I had ovulated! instead of them cancelling it they went through with it anyway knowing the window was missed. This place is all about money and nothing else!! I wouldn’t dare give them another dime of my money! Believe ALL of the negative reviews you see on here I can assure you they are TRUE! And the fact that you have no say in what you would like to do is even more reason not to go here!

After years of heartbreak with miscarriages or inability to get pregnant on our own. We decided to visit FST, Dr Patel is amazing! he got to know us as people and not patients. After countless test and blood work we got our game plan set and decided to go for it, not once but twice. The staff at the now southlake location is the best I’ve encountered, Kelly took the time to explain everything each round and always went above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns. Laura is the sweetest and always had a smile on her face and made blood drawing an ease. and nobody can forget about Jennifer, she was there every step of the way answering any billing or general questions and would give the biggest hugs before retrieval day. The day my pregnancy test came back positive it was one of the best days of my life, everyone in the office was on the phone congratulating us. I can’t thank FST enough and Dr. Patel for our miracle twins. He will never understand how much he means to our family and how thankful I am every time I look at my babies, he gave me the ability to be a mom again. A HUGE shout out to Fertility Specialists of Texas! I am 39 years old and Dr. Goldstein was successful in helping me get pregnant through my first round of IVF. I had an unsuccessful IUI at another fertility clinic in McKinney. I left that office because the doctor started treating me as a number and was all about getting my money. FST never treated me that way, in fact they treated me like family! The embryologist at Fertility Specialists of Texas, Dr. Guerrero has the best bedside manner and is very down to earth. Kat and Laura, the receptionists, were always so friendly and personable. Angela was the best at drawing blood, and was always so caring and thoughtful when I came in the office. Christine does the sonograms and she was gentle and willing to answer all of my questions. Ashley M and LeeAnn were the best nurses I could ask for while going through this process for the first time. They were always quick to respond with my million questions I had. -Kristi

We were both very nervous as to how we would navigate this journey and where it would lead to. We completed our first IUI in June and were not successful. We took the month of July off and went back for our second IUI in August. I am now 20 weeks along with twin girls. We could not be happier! -Kristi

Every day we wake up to our beautiful baby girl, who is the greatest gift we could have ever received. If it were not for the love and determination of Fertility Specialists of Texas, we would not have her in our lives. We were blessed to have found ourselves in their care and appreciate Dr. Goldstein and his staff so much.

After years of heartbreak with miscarriages or inability to get pregnant on our own. We decided to visit FST, Dr Patel is amazing! he got to know us as person and not patients. After countless test and blood work we got our game plan set and decided to go for it, not once but twice. The staff at the now southlake location is the best I’ve encountered, Kelly took the time to explain everything each round and always went above and beyond to answer any questions. Laura was the sweetest and always had a smile on her face and made blood drawing an ease. and Jennifer was there every step of the way answering any billing or general questions and would give the biggest hugs before retrieval day. The day my pregnancy test came back positive it was one of the best days of my life, everyone in the office was on the phone congratulating us. I can’t thank FST enough and Dr Patel for our miracle twins. He will never understand how much he means to our family and how I think of him everyday when I stare at my beautiful babies.

Our journey to have a second child was more than bumpy. I feel so blessed to have had a friend who was not silent about her infertility struggles and who spoke the world of FST and Dr. Goldstein. From our first appointment, to testing and surgery, then on to our IVF cycle and frozen embryo transfer, I have nothing but positive things to say. We have a few frozen embryos in storage and I look forward to the day we’re back in the office to bring those babies into the world. I’ll forever be thankful to this practice and Dr. Goldstein for helping us bring a perfect baby boy into our lives.

There are no words to express how I feel about Dr. Patel and the whole staff at FST. From Jennifer’s smile and silly jokes to keep my nerves under control, to Dr. Patel’s knowledge and compassion about the whole process, there was not a person in the office that didn’t reach my heart. My husband and I went in hoping for a miracle and came out with two miracles and a whole new group of family members! Dr. Patel always knew how to make me feel comfortable and optimistic about the process. He took the time to get to know my husband and I as people not just patients. Extremely disappointed with Dr. Goldstein and this office. We were told by Dr. G that we had a 60% success rate with IVF, after running all tests, and the Dr. telling me that my AMH was “a little low”. We didn’t even make it to the egg retrieval b/c I was such a poor responder due to my AMH level, which after my canceled cycle I researched more and discovered that I was in the 10% percentile for AMH levels, so I’d say that it was MORE than just a little low. I also had a second opinion consult at another clinic where I was told realistically I have about a 20% chance of getting pregnant due to my low AMH. I just wish I had that info going in to my first IVF so I would have had better expectations., especially when I was paying out of pocket and had to take out a loan for all of this. Also the office staff is a mess. They got me mixed up with another patient at least twice when I was there doing blood work.

We’re now 10 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby boy and I know that nobody else would have shown us the care, attention and dedication that they did. Too many times I talked to doctors that did a test or two and passed me along with no more answers than I came in with. Our lives forever changed when we met Dr. Chilvers at Feetility Specialist of Texas. My husband and I had been told by other doctors that we were young and healthy and we just needed to “relax” and give it time. After years of trying we finally met Dr. Chilvers who found that both my husband and I had issues that were indeed keeping us from getting pregnant. Dr. Chilvers spent so much time explaining our treatment plan and performed surgery on me that was vital for us to become pregnant. The surgery was high risk due to my very low egg count. Dr. Chilvers went above and beyond making me feel comfortable about the surgery and even prayed with my husband and I before surgery. Two months later we were ready to start our IVF treatment and were beyond blessed to get pregnant with a beautiful baby girl! I feel so blessed that I found Dr. Chilvers, she was truly an answer to our prayers! She went above and beyound with researching and performing my surgery and through every step of our journey to our miracle baby. She turned our 4% chance into a beautiful 100% miracle! After lots of research, and although we lived in Tulsa, we settled upon Fertility Specialists of Texas (FST). It was definitely the right decision and worth all the driving to and from appointments. I followed Dr. Patel from his prior practice to Fertility Specialists of Texas. I found it to be very professional, high quality, and efficient. Both Dr. Patel and his nurse were dedicated, friendly, and easily accessible–his nurse even gave me her cell phone number for questions. Although it took multiple cycles, everyone was ecstatic when we were finally pregnant and able to have our daughter. Dr. Guerrero, the embryologist, was also very invested in our success and personally called multiple times between procurement and day 5 to update us on our embryos. When we were fortunate enough to have a “surprise” pregnancy after our IVF baby, Dr. Patel did the early monitoring for me as if it was an IVF baby, which I was very happy for.. Once a neurotic fertility patient, always a neurotic fertility patient! It was very reassuring to have my betas drawn and the early ultrasounds to see HR and growth before I would see my regular OB at 10 weeks. I highly recommend this clinic, and specifically Dr. Patel. Absolutely love working with Dr. Goldstein and his staff. We had been with another Drs office for 1.5 years with nothing to show for it except gross amounts of medical debt and a whole bunch of useless labs. At our first appt with Dr. Goldstein (which was in January 2017), we had our consultation, followed by blood work and a sonogram. He took me off useless medication and set me down a fixed (and affordable) path. I had an HSG in February, where I found out I had a blocked tube. A laparoscopy in April and my IUI was in May. I got my BFP on May 21st. 2017 was a miracle year for our family and I gave birth to a perfect and healthy baby boy on January 12, 2018. I’m so thankful for Dr. Goldstein and everyone we worked with. And due to our reproductive issues, my husband and I will likely be back to try for baby number two!!

If I could give this fertility clinic a higher rating I would. My husband and I moved here from Alabama just a few short months after finding out we couldn’t have kids naturally. After some research we booked a consultation with them and fell in love on day 1. Dr. Patel took the time to simply explain everything to us during our consultation. Not once did he make us feel stupid or rushed. During the long and draining process I became close with the office staff from the nurses to the receptionist. They always made me feel comfortable and like family which I feel is extremely important in this process. She listened to our story and requests and worked with us to help us achieve our goal. In December of 2015 we welcomed our daughter into our family. When it came time to expand our family we didn’t even think twice about going back to Dr. Chilvers. We followed the same plan (with little tweaks here and there) and we are currently pregnant with baby number 2 who is expected to arrive June 2018! Dr. Chilvers is attentive, patient, and understanding. All the qualities that I was looking for in researching fertility specialists. Dr. Goldstein was only present in our first visit, and he seemed to be asking me what I wanted to do instead of him giving me the best option or plan for me. He was quick to accept that I have surgery and pushed for expensive procedures that were designed not to work under my circumstances. I do not recommend this Doctor to anyone who has hopes of getting help. His office staff in Dallas office is very rude and  they have no sensibility for emotional distress of their patients. They had Halloween pumpkin with signs saying ” if only I had some eggs” as in being sarcastic about real issues paying customers( their patients are going trough)The Doctor was never again in my visits I was only seen by nurses. Very disappointing, they run a calculating and cold business.

My experience with FST was nothing short of a blessing. At an early age, I was advised I should have a hysterectomy, but I always wanted to be a mother. In 2014 my GYN doctor suggested FST. We had a few set backs and hick ups during our process. However, the team at FST and Dr. Chilvers was there to lift us up and continue to encourage us. After a couple of attempts with unsuccessful try’s at IVF, in August 2016 we received a call advising us that we were pregnant. That was one of the best calls that my family received. On April 20th we welcomed our son Alexander in to the world! We are truly blessed to have him in our life and we are extremely thankful to all the people at FST who’s been a part of our journey. We will be welcoming baby number 2 soon and can’t wait to share with FST! We can’t thank FST enough for all the support and making our dreams come true twice!

We had the best experience at FST. I will always remember that at my first appointment, Dr. Goldstein said he would help make me a mom, and he did just that! His nurse Brandy was amazing and got back to me as quickly as possible. The whole team gave us so much reassurance. We felt like family when we brought our son in the office to show him off. I would highly recommend FST!

I haven’t started my meds yet and I have had the worst possible experience with every staff member at this place. They are rude, expect you to know everything they know about the IVF process, and worst, they have not had their ducks in a row at any step of the way. You would think they would be able to get dates pinned down, and prices and medications figured out. I have asked for quotes of prices (which changed on the same day depending on who I asked) and asked for what medicines I would need and how much (just an idea)–those figures never came back the same twice in a row. It really makes you wonder how they can do something as complex as IVF when they are completely inept at the office work side of it!

Dr. Patel is fantastic- he is so knowledgeable and took cutting-edge medical information into consideration with my treatment. He is always patient with us and takes the time to explain any procedures, tests, diagnoses, etc in a way that we could easily understand. His staff was well-organized and I never had to wait too long for any of my appointments. Due to my treatment and care under Dr. Patel, we had a successful pregnancy and our little girl just turned one! We highly recommend him!

If your primary concern is the cost of IVF and nothing else, this might be okay for you however be aware you will not be informed prior to appointments that large sums of money will be asked of you from front desk in an overcrowded waiting room. What I have realized about this practice is that they are possibly under bidding competition so that their patient numbers are extremely high. This sounds good but it’s not. What it translates to is subpar care. You are a number and you’ll be left blowing in the wind without really knowing what’s going on. There is no attentive physician or staff and they only notice you’re missing if you don’t show up for one of your prescheduled appointments. I went MIA because I thought I was waiting to hear back from the physician but they were waiting to hear back from me? How would I have known? I wasn’t given direction and there is no follow up after your appointments. I found my physicians bedside manner to be quite lacking. He did not seem interested in my condition, me as a patient or providing a specialized care plan for me. It’s pretty much one size fits all and if that doesn’t work then perhaps let’s try the same thing OR let’s try something different. No one cares because it’s not their money being wasted. Needless to say I stopped coming and just decided to seek treatment at a new fertility practice in Addison. This practice is not old and outdated, the staff is friendly and the physician(s) are extremely thoughtful and contemplative about your diagnosis, treatment and you’re involved in all of it. Fertility Spec. needs to reevaluate their business model. They’re just treating this practice like a cash cow and the patients like cattle. I never once felt welcomed or cared about. Also there’s an African American older lady that draws blood and I don’t think I EVER saw her smile. She is the most cold and off putting human being I have ever encountered. I also didn’t like seeing an IVF specialist for infertility which is next door to an OBGYN office and the frequent wails of infants just made me feel even worse. I wrote this review anonymously because I do not wish to be contacted by the practice. I am THAT disgruntled about the entire experience. Shame on you for failing to provide the human element to women going through one of THE most difficult struggles in a woman’s life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chilvers for a year and a half. I first began seeing her in December 2016, unfortunately the first time we began treatment the medication was very expensive and my insurance was not good enough to cover most of my medications. So in January 2017 I went back because I changed insurance companies and it was more affordable to obtain the medicines needed to complete the Retrival as well as the transfer…. I also had to pay extra for the frozen embryo transfer…. The money is a small part of this long process, IFV is an emotional roller coaster but well worth it. I transferred two embryos May 12th 2017,I had a hatched embryo and one that was breaking through…. Needless to say I had a successful cycle the first try!!!!! Dr. Chilvers always listened to what I wanted and when she questioned my decisions she was simply doing her job. I trusted her completely and she helped make my dreams come true. I am a 32 year old mother of three already 15,14. and 11.I had gotten my tubes tied at age 21.I went to her wanting a tubal reversal, she suggested against that and her reasoning made sense…. I had several small polyps inside my uterus and she suggested I have them removed. I knew I had them with my other children so I wasnt concerned, she went through with my request even though she had her reservations…. Although,I will be getting them removed after I give birth. I am currently 5 weeks with my first beta blood test at 259 second one at 1106 and the final one done tomorrow… I would definitely suggest FST to anyone. Don’t always except good news but don’t get discouraged either… Your body will do what it needs to help you get pregnant.. It’s a process but you will Love the outcome…. I had no problem with the staff and they all knew me by name. Imagine that, they see ppl all day and they will get to know you…. I read other reviews and the older African American lady is a sweet heart, and she does smile all the time, they all do… Never had to wait long, maybe twice the entire time. I urge you to have patients anything worth having is worth working for and waiting for…. I pray for successful cycles for all that attempt this life changing journey…

I went thru multiple treatments here with zero success and spent thousands of dollars.  I get that it’s not a guarantee, but multiple times doing a retrieval where I ovulated early… not sure why it wasn’t caught or pushed up given monitoring, especially the 2nd time it happened.  And FYI, that’s considered a “cancelled cycle” so you still have to pay a couple thousand bucks plus all the money wasted on fertility meds (which in my case about $6k each time).  And to top things off I get a bill for $75 amongst the charges my last negative pregnancy test.  My husband called and even though I spent thousands of dollars already they want to eek out the last $75.  Oh, and I became pregnant naturally a few months after the last failed Ivf cycle in which I think regular accupuntcure sessions helped.

We chose this clinic because they advertised high success rates, state of the art technology, and Genetic testing capabilities. From my research their prices were average and a little better than other places. Having several clinic locations, made it seem more convenient to receive care, however the clinic closest to me was only open for consultations and all procedures are done at the Frisco office. As for the doctor I chose, Dr.Noorhasan, she is extremely knowledgeable and I am very pleased with my care. However the office staff at all locations appear to dislike their Job. They are not friendly or welcoming, and you get the impression that your very existence is a nuisance. In addition to just being treated with respect and human kindness as an in fertility patient spending thousands of dollars you expect much more from their customer service. If you choose this clinic just be aware that you Do receive quality medical care but with out any personal comfort support or hospitality.  Part of good health care is being treated as an individual and not as a specimen and that is often how it feels at this practice.

-Kristi

False advertising.  I did a significant amount of research before I made an appointment with this clinic based on totally false information from their website. (I’ve copied and pasted that information below.)   After spending HUNDREDS of dollars for a consultation, I was informed casually by one of the nurses that neither Dr. Goldstein nor any of the doctors on staff will allow insemination of an unmarried woman by a known donor.  This is exactly opposite of what of they advertise on their website.  I’m not sure if they have moral objections or if they are somehow getting wined and dined from the anonymous sperm banks, but advertising for services you don’t provide is entirely unethical.  If you want specific assistance from a doctor, I recommend calling Fertility Specialists of Texas first and asking lots of questions.  You’ll save yourself a significant amount of time, money and frustration.IUI and IVF Using Donor SpermDonor sperm can be used for intrauterine insemination (IUI) or for in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures.  This sperm is sometimes obtained from a known donor, but usually it is obtained from an anonymous donor through a sperm bank. Donor insemination is the process of placing previously frozen sperm that has been thawed, washed, and prepared into a woman’s uterus around the time of ovulation.  The donor sperm can be used in a “natural cycle” with IUI during which the woman will usually release one egg if she is ovulating on her own, or, more commonly, it can be used in conjunction with fertility medications that stimulate the ovaries to develop eggs and that trigger ovulation.  In vitro fertilizatoin (IVF) requires sperm be placed around harvested eggs or injected into the harvested eggs to facilitate fertilization.Patient situations that may require donor sperm:Single womenLesbian couplesCouples where the male partner has no recoverable spermIf you wish to use a known donor:Women who wish to use the sperm of a friend or acquaintance are required to obtain legal counsel to avoid future conflicts with such an arrangement.  They are also strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor to address questions that may arise in the future.  Furthermore, they must abide by state laws that stipulate the testing of the male partner for specific sexually transmitted diseases and the quarantining of the semen for a specified time period prior to its use.  In addition, patients may want to have their donor screened for genetic disease carrier status such as cystic fibrosis.Recommended Attorneys:David Cole at Little Flower Adoption and Assisted Reproductive ServicesThe Law Office of Lauren Gaydos Duffer, P.C.Recommended Counselors:Wendy Bauer, MS, LPCJennifer Kiphart Cole at Little Flower Adoption and Assisted Reproductive Services

I’m an egg donor through an agency I just moved here from California so this was my first time going to this place. It was not a good experience. I do not like getting a sonogram, it’s very uncomfortable for me so I find refuge in the doctors because they’re normally very nice & they can tell I’m nervous & dislike this part of it. This guy came in hardly introduced himself (I learned his name from the Internet, Dr.goldstien) & was obviously frustrated with his computer for some reason. He had no conception of me at all. He asked me question very abruptly & wasn’t explaining to me at all about what he was doing or how I was looking or anything. It was just a baseline check but the doctors normally let me know how everything’s looking. He hardly talked to me & he wasn’t clear at all with anything he said (the two things he did actually say) I left in tears. I’m a baby when it comes to this stuff & I dont mean to scare anyone away, I’m sure most people are fine with an internal sonogram but I’m not & this was not a good experience this doctor needs to treat his patients with more tenderness & understanding.

My husband and I have a four year old son who was our surprise baby. A year later we decided to start trying for another child, should be easy right!! Not so much after three years and no such luck we started to look for some answers and went to see Dr. Rebecca Chilvers at Fertility Specialists of Texas. She is amazing! She listened to everything we said and went to work right away. She is so friendly and supportive and gave us all our options. First we went with an IUI which failed and then proceeded to go with IVF. Whitney Crider was my nurse and walked me through everything including how to do all my shots. Whitney was always just a phone call or email away and answered all my crazy questions, she was like having your best friend at your side. I’m happy to say we are pregnant with twins!! Its so sad leaving Dr. Chilvers, Whitney, and Charlotte Philllips just one of the amazing medical assistants. Thank you a thousand times over for making our family of three a party of five!! When my husband and I were ready to add #2 to our family, we had a lot to consider. We are both Cystic Fibrosis carriers. After putting ourselves through an emotional pregnancy with the first, we decided IVF with PGD was our only option to ensure having a baby without CF. After researching and reading reviews, we decided to visit Fertility Specialists of Texas. Dr. Goldstein was very informative and told us exactly what we could expect from the process. My initial tests revealed some disappointing numbers. However, we decided to proceed in the process. After all was said and done, we were able to transfer 2 embryos, and we now have a healthy, happy 12 lb 10 week old baby girl, born at 40 weeks and 1 day. I cannot thank Dr. Goldstein, Tiecha (who was amazingly patient with me), and the rest of the staff enough. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, took the time to check in on me, address any of my concerns, etc. Tiecha and Dr. Goldstein both emailed me while still in the hospital to check in on me and the baby! How wonderful is that?! They have given us the greatest gift in life and we are forever grateful. If another bundle of joy is in our future, we’ll be back.

It was such a relief after talking with him and he seemed both knowledgeable and optimistic for us. We were able to quickly get started with the fertility testing and began the IVF process. The nurses are also very kind and helpful here. Every visit was both relaxing and reassuring. We were very fortunate to have IVF success the first time. We are now awaiting the arrival of our first baby girl due to be here in August. We will never be able to thank the team at Fertility Specialists of Texas enough for this wonderful gift of life.
