Made in the USA Surrogacy, LLC

I was excited to start with Made in USA Surrogacy and things were going great until they weren’t. Samantha was very responsive and always available until our OB let us know that she did not recommend us proceeding with the surrogate due to medical issues that would make it hard for successful implantation. I immediately contacted Samantha and her response was to “try to remain positive,” and that the surrogate was “still a good candidate.”

We ended up speaking on the phone and she told me that I don’t have to listen to my OB and I have more power than I think – she suggested to proceed with implantation since there were no refunds and we would have to wait another 6 months for another match. I felt like that response was very manipulative since I feel like my OB has nothing to gain from declining a surrogate. Given our limited embryos we decided it would be in our best interest to go with our OB’s advice.

I’ve gone back and forth on wheter to write a review since we’ve already invested a lot of money into the surrogacy process with Made in USA Surrogacy. At this point we can’t get our money back so we are hoping for another match but we do feel like there’s less trust in the process after what happened prior. There are so many other surrogacy agencies out there and I wanted to put this information out there for future IPs.
