"Choose a job that you love, and you will never work a day in your life." Prior to joining Family Creations, Marla worked as a legal assistant doing contract work for a major law firm specializing in Third Party Reproduction and Family Formation Law. As she became more familiar with the surrogacy process, preparing the pleadings for the finalization of parental rights, Marla's passion grew stronger to become an integral part of the surrogacy journey itself. Her determination is what ultimately led her to Family Creations. Marla initially joined our team an Administrative Assistant and was quickly promoted to Surrogate Case Manager. Marla’s growth within the company continued to flourish as she advanced to Director of Case Management, overseeing our Egg Donor Case Managers, while also continuing to independently manage each of our surrogacy cases.Today, as Surrogate Program Director, Marla manages the surrogacy team, in addition to matching our Intended Parents and Surrogates. Marla fosters the relationships between our Intended Parents and Surrogates during the matching phase of their journey. She is sympathetic and compassionate to the complexity of the surrogacy process and all that it entails. Her commitment, enthusiasm, reliability, and professionalism, makes Marla an exceptional Program Director. Marla was born and raised in Southern California and is married with two amazing adult children. She graduated from California State University Northridge, and holds her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
