My experience with Circle has been frustrating and disappointing. I hope that by sharing my story, others can make an informed decision and avoid the headaches that I have encountered. As a current IP with Circle, my experience has been disappointing. Despite paying ~55K and waiting for over 21 months, I have not received the level of service that was promised. Circle assured me of a 12-14-month matching timeline and the ability to work with my clinic (located in the West Coast), but the two profiles they shared did not meet my clinic’s requirements. Had I not thoroughly reviewed them, I would have spent money and time on unnecessary testing. Circle did not offer any concessions for the delay, other than an apology and an explanation that “things are difficult.” I have eliminated my matching preferences, and yet to see any results. I feel let down by my decision to work with Circle. It is too late to switch to another agency, as I would have to start at the end of the line again after waiting for over 21 months. Circle would only refund me ~6K, without a full refund I can’t afford to switch to a different agency. Furthermore, I have encountered several issues during the egg donation matching process. Their database contains people who have not been fully vetted. The first egg donor candidate did not follow through after months from being selected, and the second was disqualified by Circle after months of completing the doctor review of bloodwork results and medical records. These issues could have been prevented if Circle had done their full due diligence before adding egg donors to their database. I can second Kelly Thomas”s review on the social worker Katherine”s abilities as a social worker. She is clearly biased in her ability to accurately assess people’s information. Along with this she is judge mental and oddly passive aggressive in her tone and manner torwards candidates. She was extremely biased in her assessment and while I tried to be helpful and give clarity of information, she turned it around and acted confused.
I have worked with Circle as an egg donor. My experience has been nothing but positive! The team I was appointed ensured I was well informed, comfortable, and made the entire journey flow without a hitch. I would highly recommend.
I just started working with Circle a little over a month and a half ago and I am already matched with IP and in the process of donating for the first time! So far the whole staff has been very kind and informative!
I am currently in the process of completing my first donation through Circle. After working with Danielle through the application process, which she made so easy, I knew I would love this agency. After I matched, I had the BEST experience with Maddie, an intake coordinator. I felt extremely supported and as if I could reach out to her at any point. I loved the fact that she was an experienced donor as well. That was so helpful. I still reach out to her with some questions, even after I’ve been handed over to my program coordinator to finish the donation process. My Program Coordinator Ghizlane has been so incredibly kind as well. I’ve absolutely loved my clinic I’ve worked with through Circle. I’ve never felt so supported through a process in my entire life. I was a surrogate with Circle Surrogacy and gave birth in January 2020. Everything from start to finish I felt so much support. The people that work at Circle treat you like family and you are definitely not just a number to them. Matching was the most important step and it went perfect. I was matched with the most amazing couple and the three of us made it possible for a beautiful baby girl to join the world. 10/10 would recommend circle.
Circle provided the most pleasant, safe environment for my surrogacy journey! I spent years researching about surrogacy and agencies that provided legal guidance, matching, insurance, etc. I found that circle was hands down the safest agency in America that could help me reach my personal goals to help people all over the world grow a family! I applied in March 2019. Was matched with a couple in June, pregnant in October, and delivered a healthy baby girl in June 2020!

Update: I want to add that I still love the circle team! I have read a few reviews about how people didnt like their initial process... however that process is one of the reasons I picked circle over other places that I researched and talked to. I liked how Circle seemed like they really wanted to make sure the potential surrogate was in the right state of mind as well as had a great support team behind her. The 2.5 hour meeting was done over 2 days for me so that I could do it during my lunch breaks at work and the meeting with my husband I appreciated because they wanted to make sure he was supportive of it as well since he was going to be my number 1 person. I very much will recommend Circle especially Alana and Callie! They were and still are my favorite people and I hope I get them for my second journey once I'm done with school. I cannot wait for my second journey to start with Circle! My whole team was amazing and was there for me whenever I needed them. They are always making sure you are doing good and asking if you need anything from them. The thing I love the most is their matching process! The Intended Parents (IPs) that I was matched with are now part of my family and I love being able to see updates of the twins! I have heard of people complaining about how long the pre-process before being matched takes and honestly that's part of what got my attention about them, as I loved how in depth they go of making sure you are a good surrogate candidate. This process also helps them match you with IPs better as well. The more they know about you (and your spouse in my case) the better. My experience with Circle has been nothing but the best since I applied for my first journey almost 2 years ago. The staff are quick with responses, they are very open, honest and helpful to answer any questions I had from start to finish and even after I delivered my surrogate baby, and showed compassion and support every step of the way as well. From being a surrogate I have come in contact with some ladies who have been surrogates through other surrogacy agencies and it seems as though their experience(s) have been less enjoyable than mine because their agency lacked communication or empathy and it made it very difficult for their surrogates. I can not say enough wonderful things about Circle Surrogacy and their staff! From the moment I applied to be a surrogate (May 2018) to the present day (2 months postpartum of my first journey) everyone that I have been in contact with has been amazing! I am an experienced gestational carrier now thanks to Circle! I still can't believe this journey has come full Circle already. I knew when I was 18 that I wanted to be a surrogate. I applied in September 2016 (only ever applied at Circle) and heard back within 24 hours! From there every step was so timely and smooth. Everyone who was part of my team just worked so well together and communicating to eachother was wonderful! Everyone was helpful and answered all my questions or found the person with the answers. 3 months to the day was transfer day! Thankfully the embryo stuck on the first try so not even a full year had gone by and on September 2, 2018 my belly buddy made his debut!!! We just celebrated his 1st birthday in Switzerland 💗 I am so happy with how everything unfolded and came together and so thankful to Circle for making this such an enjoyable experience for me as a surrogate. Love Circle!! I started my 1st journey in May 2018 and was able to have a successful birth of a little boy for a couple in Switzerland in July 2019! I had started to go thru them and everything was going amazing! I had the best coordinator, I met all the qualifications, it looked great. Then the social worker call, I had to reschedule due over siting it was 2.5 hours. I got a bad vibe then. She was very judgmental and very passive aggressive. I’m very good with ppl not because I’m a nurse I’m blessed with that gift.
Working with Circle was amazing! Their commitment and reliability made it easy to trust them and eager to start a journey. I had a great support system and always felt advocated for. I wasn’t just another surrogate, I was a friend and that meant so much. My coordinator and social worker made me feel important, I couldn’t have asked for more.

I couldn’t of asked for a better experience through Circle Surrogacy! I was initially wanting to choose an agency that a friend was going through but when I called that agency they seemed flat and not friendly when answering my questions. Doing research I found circle and called them to ask questions. I had the most amazing experience with Circle! Surrogacy has weighed very heavily on my heart for a long time. After a lot of research on different agencies, I decided to apply with Circle. From the very beginning when I spoke with my outreach coordinator Kristi who answered all of my questions, to being introduced to my amazing social worker Solveig and Coordinator Sarah, I felt that I had made the right decision. They matched me with the most amazing couple, who fast forward to 4 years later, are family! I will be honest, our journey wasn't rainbows the whole time. Our first transfer went great, but sadly at 11 weeks we were hit with the sad news of the heartbeat couldn't be found. I can't even begin to explain the amount of amazing support we had through this time by our Circle Team and other Circle Surrogates. This meant so much, as this was the first miscarriage I had experienced and was terrified. We were able to have a second transfer and delivered their beautiful bundle. Seeing the look on the IPs faces in the delivery room, was the most rewarding and treasured moment. Thank you Circle for this amazing experience!…
This place discriminates against lower income single mothers. You don't even have to be on cash aid, section 8, or any of the other things they list as not meeting their qualifications. I've had four healthy pregnancies and vaginal births, I'm 33 and done with having my own kids. I figured I'd sign up while staying at home with my baby and working part-time - but they rejected me and told me to reapply when I'm more financially stable. When I'm working full-time again I'll be too busy to be pregnant and worrying about taking leave etc again. Haha. Pretty ridiculous. Only apply if you have two household incomes or can meet their obscene income expectations. They claimed it was because I was currently on state insurance, but other agencies I've looked into go over their own insurance plans for surrogacy with you. They have agents that set up the best surrogacy medical plans that THEY cover. Keep in mind insurance isn't listed under not meeting their qualifications presently - but seems to fall into the area that is "treated as a case by case basis" - what it really was is a discrimination though, since everything else was met.…
I cannot express how much I love this agency in words. When you really sit and think about how many surrogates and intended parents they are working with on a constant basis, it is shocking how well they are able to give each and every surrogate/intended parent their undivided attention and proper support during the journey. I could not have pictured or wished for a better journey. My couple was from Canada and I live in Missouri. From start to finish everything was smooth, laid back, friendly and supportive! I am in the middle of my third journey with Circle. From the very beginning with my first journey, my experience with Circle has been nothing short of phenomenal. Through the highs and the lows (more highs than lows), Circle staff was always there to support me in anything I needed. One of Circle's strongest qualities is matching. I have been matched with the most amazing IP's, they are like family to me now, and we keep in touch regularly! The attention to detail and their efforts in matching us certainly paid off! I contacted Circle after reading some positive reviews online during my search for a surrogate. Overall, I found their intake process to be slow, overly complicated, and in general far worse than the dozen or so other agencies I contacted. Most off-putting was the fact that they require a 2.5 hour video conference with both partners and filling out a lengthy (15+ page) profile at the very start of the process - before they give you any references, the agency contract, or sample surrogate profiles. I understand the desire to only deal with serious potential inquiries, but this borders on ridiculous as it is unrealistic to ask for such a commitment when we're vetting multiple options. Trying to coordinate 2.5 hours during the work week (or one Saturday per month) on a different timezone for the both of us proved untenable. Only after I pushed back multiple times did they finally offer a "pre-consultation" call with their lawyer to discuss high level fees and process - but still insisted that we'd have to do the 2.5 hour consultation before getting any real info. Very strange and based on my experience in vetting several other agencies, definitely not the norm for the industry. Additionally, the overall service level I received during the sales process (from Sarah the Outreach Manager) was at best lackluster. She was indifferent to the burdensome nature of process and at times arrogant in her tone - insisting that they know best. I'd suggest looking elsewhere for an agency.…
I have done one egg donation through Circle, and just matched with a second set of parents to do my next one. I really can't say enough great things about Circle! I always felt like they put my safety and happiness above everything else, and were really on my side and wanted to work out what was best for everyone, rather than the quickest way for them to make money. My program coordinator, Dory, was also amazing! She was always very prompt to get back to me if I had any questions or concerns, and she was very much on the ball the whole time. All the staff that I interacted with were kind and professional, and walked me through every step of the process. Elinor, the matching coordinator, was also always kind and patient with me, yet got back to me quickly if I contacted her. I also think it's great that they support known donations so much; it was such a great experience to meet the parents I was donating for on Skype before making a decision, and we hit it off so well that we even had dinner the night before my retrieval! I realize that I sound like a commercial, but I honestly couldn't have had a better experience; the whole time, I kept saying that it was going too smoothly and I expected a hiccup any day; luckily none came :-) I would highly recommend Circle to any woman looking for an egg donation agency.…

1x surrogate with Circle. Cannot recommend. Definitely use the search feature here in the group and read the reviews. They do use in house legal and escrow, which is a red flag. They are larger, but that doesnt mean better. You are just another number. Loved my match, but they had so much coordination turn over I was constantly telling new people where we were. It was so frustrating. Your benefits package should be able to be customized. There is much better out there than Circle.
2x Circle surro. My 1st journey ended in 4/2024 with the delivery of my surro babe. It was a fantastic journey. Everything was smooth, communication was great and no flaws with Circle at all. I’m now 13 weeks pregnant with second and this journey and let’s just say it’s been less than stellar. Not my IPs at all but the communication has been inconsistent. It really depends who you get for a case coordinator. I know I can ask for a new one but it seems like more hassle than it’s worth for someone new to get up to speed. If I do a 3rd journey I would not stick with Circle (which says a lot because I was a huge advocate in the past). Make sure you can advocate for yourself and push back hard on them. Ask for your own attorney outside of Circle (I did, both times and no issues). They’ll push back on every comp issue and I just held firm. I have definitely felt that they “protect” their IPs more. My social worker, however, is amazing.…
I delivered back in April and was through Circle. I am starting a second journey and did not go back with them. We had some issues where we had to cancel a transfer and they 100% put the blame on me even though there was nothing I could have done differently. My lining was not thickening up the way we needed to. My coordinator even tried to get the IPs to be mad at me. I don’t know if she was trying to brake the match or what was going on. They are HORRIBLE about getting medical bills paid as well. Mine were very late, but i’ve heard of some that have gone to collections. They make the process go super fast in the beginning so you have no time to think or make sure it’s a good fit. I’ve heard that their marketing budget is rather high so they are one of the first agencies that comes up if you search surrogacy but they end up lacking in other areas. I would go months without hearing from my coordinator.…
I delivered with circle back in April.  Had an absolutely amazing experience. Too big red flag is worth noting in-house escrow and in-house legal. Neither of which I ever had a problem with. There are tons of negative reviews out there about them but honestly never had a bad experience. I did opt for a different agency for my second journey, but solely because of the compensation.
They were the lowest comp out of all the agencies I interviewed but have higher rates for IPs I have been told. That combined with in housr escrow and lawyer made me refuse them

When I wanted to wait 2/3 months to transfer again after blighted ovum, they got really cold and distant and dropped me. Had a horrible experience with Circle and would not recommend. Definitely do your research. They don’t let you pick a lawyer, they have low comp, use in house escrow. And their case managers are a revolving door.

I was with circle my first journey and decided to go a different route for this one. I felt the support for the GC just wasnt there, they only cared about thr IPs
2x Circle surrogate and currently on my second journey, 12 weeks pregnant. My first journey was flawless but the current one has been pretty lack luster. If I were to do a 3rd I’d definitely steer clear of Circle.
I’ve been a surrogate twice and used two different agencies. My first journey was with Growing Generations. I had no experience at all, so I pretty much accepted the first compensation package they offered me, which was an all-inclusive package. Looking back, I personally wouldn’t choose an all-inclusive package again. I ended up on bed rest and couldn’t receive additional lost wages because they were already included in that package. My experience with them wasn’t necessarily bad, but communication could have been better. They also changed my program manager halfway through my pregnancy, which I didn’t love because I felt like the new manager didn’t really know me or my journey the way my first one did. My second journey was with Circle, and my experience was completely different. By then I knew what questions to ask, what to look for, and how to advocate for myself, especially with compensation. Their communication and support throughout my journey were incredible, and choosing them was honestly one of the best decisions I made. My biggest advice as a two-time surrogate would be: don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and don’t automatically accept the first offer just because you’re a first-time surrogate. Ask exactly what is and isn’t included in your compensation, especially lost wages, bed rest, childcare, housekeeping, travel, etc. I wish I had known that my first time! ❤️…
When I was first looking into Circle, I honestly found a lot of negative reviews, and they definitely made me question whether I wanted to move forward with them. I decided to have a call with them anyway, and I felt really good after speaking with them, but I still had some doubts because of everything I had read online. In the end, I decided to trust my own experience and intuition, and I can honestly say I’m so glad I did. From the beginning of my journey all the way through the end, my experience with Circle was exceptional. They were always checking on me and making sure I was okay. I never felt like “just another number,” which was something I had seen mentioned in some reviews. Maybe I was just extremely lucky with the team I was assigned, but every person I worked with was kind, attentive, and supportive. I had some complications during my journey, and I truly can’t express how supported I felt during that time. They stayed in contact with me, checked on me constantly, and I never felt alone through any of it. For me personally, they were amazing. I also had a very positive experience when it came to compensation and my contract. They initially made an offer, but I advocated for myself, my attorney advocated for me as well, and the things I requested were approved. Most importantly, they matched me with absolutely wonderful intended parents, and I couldn’t have asked for a better match. This was actually my second surrogacy journey and my second agency. My experience with my first agency wasn’t bad, but because it was my first journey and I didn’t know as much as I do now, I didn’t really advocate for myself and accepted what was offered to me. With Circle, having more experience and knowing what questions to ask and what I wanted made a huge difference. Of course, everyone’s experience can be different, but if you’re asking about personal experiences, mine with Circle was truly exceptional and I would absolutely recommend them based on my own journey. ❤️…
I’m a GS with Circle. I just finished my first journey with them and gave birth a week ago! There will always be people who have negative things to say, but I enjoyed my journey with them and absolutely adore my IP’s. I had no problem negotiating anything I wanted, including my pay.
In my journey with them I had several, not one or two, coordinator changes. They hold in house legal and escrow, which isnt ethical. You should be able to choose your attorney and not someone within their company. Escrow should be 3rd party. As Bram mentioned, check reviews and search function. For me, they arent personal at all and I was just a number very quickly shoved off with no support. Its a long story.....Find an agency that will value you and support you throughout your journey. ❤️
I did work with Circle for my first journey. My coordinator was amazing. I did have an issue with a bill being paid. There was one time I had to come out of pocket for the IVF medicine. I lost the receipt, but I screenshot it my bank account statement, and told them and I wasn’t reimbursed because I didn’t have the receipt. They do have a low compensation and you’re basically advised that you can’t change it, but thank God I had a great lawyer who said we should ask for more so we went up a little bit during labor. I did have a slight complication. I asked my coordinator if this would disqualify me from another journey, and she never got back to me.  during the breast feeding journey they definitely don’t reach out to check in to see how you are doing only to check the dates you pumped.…
I did not have a great experience with Circle. I never heard from my coordinator and they use in-house attorneys for their IPs (at least they did when I did my journey). The attorney never filed our parentage paperwork. It was a mess. They tried to withhold my final payments and lost wages. They have an all inclusive program for IPs and charge the IPs more than other agencies but compensate the GC the least.
Had a great experience with circle. Just had Suro babe in April. I will say, the comp was incredibly low compared to other agencies but I had great communication and support from them. I’m doing a second journey and went with another agency only due to comp
I am a GC for Circle (8 months) & I have had a wonderful experience. I didn’t do research on other agencies but heard that their compensation is lower but also could be negotiated. I didn’t feel like a number and everything was communicated thoroughly. It has been a pretty smooth journey.

Circle was an agency that almost went with but treated me and my partner like we were numbers and like I was an incubator. I did not end up going with them and I’m very happy I went elsewhere. But I wish you nothing but the best in whatever agency you choose! ❤
I used circle, it’s a big agency, I felt like I was just a case number. My coordinator was horrible. I am a coordinator now, I learned from my experience on what to do and not to do! I work for a smaller agency, and my girls are not just a case number, they are considered a good friend! I coordinate at Surrogate Steps and take pride in my job😀

Was not a fan of circle. Felt to large, my coordinator was not responsive. I had 9727739 people on my “team” and never knew who did what. Did 95% of the things on my own. I like a smaller agency with less cases per coordinator.
I am working with Circle right now and so far everything has been great! My coordinators have been amazing and constantly checking in with me. I am matched with an amazing couple and just finishing up legal right now!
I am a 3x surrogate and my first journey was with circle. All around I did not have a great experience. Firstly being I was not educated on the different levels of of compensation and ended up with over a $20,000 deficit from new surrogates being brought it when I was halfway through my journey. Secondly being terrible communication, and was not supported or had anyone from circle to help navigate some very stressful times. My coordinator didn’t change, she just didn’t respond. My “social worker” changed 3 times during my journey and I was left from 20weeks-35weeks with no support person from the agency. They have a separate fb group for their surrogates and I had some that messaged me there when I came out and told them about my terrible experiences.…
I was a surrogate there for my first journey. It was honestly not great. Constant coordinator changes, always having to update where we were in our journey. They have in house escrow and legal which is a Surrogacy no no. There is much better out there. They dont allow customizations to benefits package....you should always have a say in that.
Hi! I initially tried to work with Circle Surrogacy. It didn’t end up working out. I felt like just a number. They couldn’t remember my name, they never spelled my husband’s name right, and I eventually learned that a bigger agency doesn’t necessarily mean a better agency.
Recently completed a journey with them as a surrogate and I would not recommend.
I just completed a journey with circle last May. From beginning to end I felt it was pretty smooth. There was one little snuff but we got through it(you can DM if you're curious), I was scratching my head about the situation but my IPs were so so amazing and so supportive we were always on the same page and it was almost like circle had to catch up with us (not bad on them just great communication match with my IPs). They are low on comp but that didn't turn me away from the agency. My social worker was great, she still is. Still reaches out to me even now. All in all I had a great journey I'm so thankful for circle to helping me find the match that I did. All agencies will have success stories and horror stories but do your research and due diligence and trust your gut.…
Unfortunately I think it ends up being such a case-by-case basis with any agency or journey. I was between the two as well and went with Circle which was a traumatic and horrific experience. I know several people who have used Conceivabilities with really positive experiences, and I wish we had chosen them instead, but still can't guarantee what that experience would have been like.

Currently a surrogate with circle, would not recommend to anyone there are so many better options for IPs and surrogates! terrible communication, i was sent paperwork late multiple times and then harassed to get them done asap while i was at work every single time. Legal paperwork that was supposed to be done after pregnancy confirmation was not sent to me until I was 32 weeks. From my personal experience they treat you like a number; instead of a person. Once youre pregnant with them they disappear and don’t help especially with bills! I am 8 years out and half my bills are still unpaid. I would never go with them again. I chose surrogates alternatives for this journey and I’m so much happier. I personally would never recommend them. - also in-house escrow and lawyers is a major red flag & they do both. If I knew that then I wouldn’t have chosen them.
So I finished my journey over a year ago. It was My second journey and if I didn't meet one of the most sweetest IPS and had gotten the relationship I had gotten out of my experience with circle. I literally would have been in full-blown regret with them. They made it worth it. Multiple things that I regretted going with circle... We all know their compensation is a joke. I get that. We as surrogates want to do it out of the good of our hearts. We love being pregnant. We want to help families but at the end of the day we literally are the ones giving up our entire bodies and health in order for this miracle to happen. So no matter who wants to gaslight you don't let them and know your worth. I initially went in the middle of the road compensation for my second journey. I wanted to request higher but I legitimately was told that if I went too high I would be harder to match. And because I was on the older side, I felt pressured to take that middle of the road amount looking at other companies and how much more they give. I completely regret the smaller compensation I took. My other issue would be that they don't have a straight arrow with their extra" compensation that they give you if say IPS have an outdated contract with circle or what have you They go through these other programs so if you work and you miss work or you were put on bed rest some of those contracts can be a real big pain to be able to have them cover your lost wages. So not only was I lowballed in compensation but I also lost money in wages. Then after hearing circle is one of the most top expensive companies for IPS really made my blood boil because to me it sounds like they're getting away huge cuts while a surrogate that is giving up our entire bodies and health for almost a year heck even over a year to recover while they're pocketing this extra money... Never again. Would I ever go at circle nor would I tell anybody to go with them.…
Currently 36 weeks with circle. Been in the same position as you for a while now - there’s so much negative talk without a ton of actual examples. I personally know 3 other surrogates who have used circle and all had great experiences. Yes the comp is low. As a first time surrogate I wish I had a better idea of what to ask for but at the end of the day - I signed the contract for the comp I got and I was fine with it.
In my experience, they had me doing a tandem Surrogacy, but they did not inform me ahead of time. I only found out after I was confirmed pregnant that there was a second surrogate involved. It really hit me some kind of way. It ended up falling through with the other surrogate for a variety of reasons. But they didn’t really seem to understand why that would make me feel lied to. I think if you’re gonna be a part of a tandem Surrogacy, you should be told about it ahead of time.
i did circle with my last journey! i loved everything about them, besides the very low comp. i got 35k and had surrobabe may 2025. If you feel you’re getting what you’re asking for, then i say go for it. They supported me through a lot of uncomfortable moments and overstepping IPs!!

If we had questions or wanted something to be different all it took was a little communication. I didn't feel like "just a number" it's unfortunate some people have had that experience but I couldn't believe how smooth of a journey it was. My IPs are absolutely incredible and that match would not have been possible without circle. Bills were always taken care of immediately. And my social worker was amazing. We still keep in touch. Maybe I'm the unicorn because I felt like they were very hands on. I understand people will complain about them being low comp but I was happy with what I signed on for. You'll hear the good, bad and ugly for allllll the agencies but go with your gut on what feels right for you & make sure you hold to your boundaries and advocate for yourself right off. Current first time surrogate with Circle and 24 weeks pregnant. My only complaint thus far is the low compensation compared to other agencies. Aside from that, everyone has been a gem. I dealt with a failed first transfer/possible ectopic and Circle staff made sure I was a priority and got everything taken care of properly, etc. I’ve had no issues so far
2x surrogate with circle. My overall experience wasn’t bad but during my second journey it seemed like funds were slow to come in (especially before travel) and way too many reports of surrogates bills not getting paid and ending up in collections. I chose to switch to Surrogacy IS for my third journey and it was the best decision.

Circle GC here. On my 2nd journey. I’ve had super positive experiences with them. Negotiated all of my fees prior to match. I’ve always felt supported and heard. I chose my own attorney outside of Circle. Everything was always paid on time, without issue. I started my first journey in 2023 and delivered in 2024. We did attempt a sibling journey but were unsuccessful, so I just matched with new IPs. Most people who have negative comments likely never used Circle. They are a HUGE agency but that’s one of the reasons I chose them. They have a reputation to defend and they have a lot of resources at their disposal with a lot of IPs. Current surrogate with Circle, 17 weeks pregnant. I’ve had no issues with them and if there is ever an issue my IP’s have had no problem getting a solution. There’s always so much hate on them but I, personally, have not had an issue. I also have another girl in my state who is with them and we message each other at least once a week and she also enjoys them.

As a former Circle GC, the only red flag for me was in house escrow.
They were ok, its a larger agency, so communication wasn't great, took alot time to get replys back. If I were to do it again, it would be with a smaller agency. Also long wait time for ip's. I kinda felt like we did it independently.
Im currently a GC with them and wish I did more research beforehand. If I do surrogacy again, I will not go with them.
Currently with circle and have had an absolutely amazing experience. I’ve read all the crappy reviews and honestly haven’t experienced a single thing they’ve mentioned. I applied in Feb 2025 and I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant. I wish I had know I could have negotiated my comp up front becuase I feel like it’s insanely low but otherwise, I’ve had a great experience. My IPs have as well
I’m an experienced GC with circle on my second journey with them. I had a very flawless first journey and was excited to work with them for my second journey. I felt completely supported and I negotiated all of my fees BEFORE matching with their matching team. They do make it seem like they are set in stone (as it’s their job to try and save the IPs money) but I successfully negotiated to what I was seeking. Happy to answer any other questions! ❤️

I’m a first time surrogate with them, currently 19 weeks. My only complaint is the low base compensation but that’s something you can increase/negotiate BEFORE matching. (Had I known that before, I would have asked for much more.) But aside from that, everything has been smooth sailing especially as a first time GC.

i really liked circle, but their comp was extremely low compared to others. if you want a certain comp make sure you state it in the beginning and even before being matched so a couple isn’t blind sided once it comes to contracts

circle had me waiting 2 months after applying and still was not shown a profile. I switched to another agency and was matched in 2 days. My fet took a few months because I kept getting rejected by clinics, but the agency managed to find one that loves me and my fet is supposed to be the 17th this month
I was with Circle for my first journey, unfortunately (but ultimately, thankfully) it ended in a match break before transfer. It wasn't until match break that I learned just how bad things could've gone, I was left so unprotected. I'm on my current journey with Alcea and it is truly night & day from previous agencies I've either worked with as a GC or interviewed/vetted as a GC. Choosing an agency is an incredibly personal decision, what is important to one may not be important to another and so knowing your "non negotiables " is crucial. There will be a ton of hate on Circle, but I have enjoyed my journey thus far with them. They have been nothing but kind to me and the communication has been top tier. I absolutely adore my IP’s and things have gone so smoothly which made the journey faster paced as well.
Current GC with Circle and I have loved it so far. They have been very supportive and the communication has been great. I did not have any issues with negotiating my compensation either. I also adore my IP’s.
I had them my first journey and had a wonderful experience start to finish! I just applied for my second journey a month ago and matched with a couple on Monday but we are waiting on their clinics official approval of me. My coordinator texts me back every single time I ask a question. Maybe not immediately but generally the same day. Don’t be afraid to blow your coordinators phone up with questions. I’m guessing they may be reviewing medical records or maybe still waiting for them so they can review them or waiting on the back ground checks.. etc just text them and ask 🙂…
I was a surrogate twice with circle. The beginning is all just a waiting game for them to get records and background checks etc. but you can always text or email them for updates and they are usually pretty good with letting you know where you are in the process.
I’m using Circle currently. In the beginning, while they were waiting for records or reviewing them or whatever, it would be a week or so before I’d hear from them. I personally made Wednesdays my reach out days. So if I hadn’t heard from them, I would email or text my onboarding gal every Wednesday asking for an update. Feel free to message me! I transfer next Tuesday with Circle. My experience has been amazing so far!
My first journey was with them, ended right right before transfer. If youre able, I'd walk away and research elsewhere.
I used them with my very first journey & when things weren’t perfect, they dropped me. I went on to have 2 successful journeys elsewhere. I wouldn’t use them.
Hey there! I am a 2X surrogate through circle surrogacy and I have nothing but positives to say about them from my perspective and from what my intended parents from both journeys have said as well. They always made sure to fill us in during all stages of the journey. We never felt like we were left in the dark even in those long “limbo” stages. They ALWAYS had things taken care of and were very organized. Everything was done timely and professionally and we never had to worry about anything (other than the obvious on if the transfers would take) Circle surrogacy goes above and beyond for us surrogates and I’m sure they do for their IPs as well. I feel like I have created such great bonds with some of these workers through circle surrogacy that they are almost extended family of mine! I HIGHLY recommend.. 100 times over…
I was a surrogate for circle back in 2023 and it went well. I haven't read through the bad reviews but think it was am overall good place. My journey stuck the first time around so it was very smooth sailing. My compensation was 30k for my first time because my work didn't cover through insurance. I feel like I would advocate for more now just with how the economy is.
Current gc with them and WOULD NEVER go through them again. I was blessed with some amazing IPs but hearing their side it’s just been all bad. They did not compensate my partner for being off for travel. I was so sick this entire pregnancy I’ve came out of pocket more than Ive been compensated but it’s almost over.
