My surrogacy journey has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my life. From the very beginning, I felt supported, respected, and cared for throughout every step of the process. One aspect of my journey that stood out was being a Black surrogate. At times, it felt a little bizarre simply because I didn’t often see many women who looked like me represented in the surrogacy community. It made me realize how important diversity and representation are in this space. Even so, I never let that discourage me. I was treated with kindness and respect, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The communication throughout the journey was excellent. Whenever I had questions or concerns, someone was always there to help. The medical team, coordinators, and everyone involved made sure I felt informed, comfortable, and appreciated. The intended parents were wonderful, and being able to help them grow their family was an incredible honor. Watching them meet their baby for the first time is a memory I’ll always treasure. Knowing I played a part in making their dream come true filled me with so much joy. Surrogacy is a commitment, and there are challenges along the way, but for me, every moment was worth it. This experience gave me a deep sense of purpose, and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to be part of something so life-changing. I absolutely loved my surrogacy journey, and without hesitation, I would do it again. If you’re considering becoming a surrogate, I encourage you to keep an open mind and choose a team that truly supports and values you. It has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life, and I will always be proud of the role I played in helping create a family. I would also love to give a big shout out to Sandrine who also a big part of my surrogacy journey, she was the best and made sure I was always on top of things. Last but not least I want to show love to the intended parents Camille & Antoine and their adorable son Uriel!! They are like family to me now and our connection with each other just felt so real and genuine. ❤️ I will forever be grateful to be apart of their journey!!…
For quite some time I knew I wanted to be a surrogate. I did not know anything about the process and where to even begin. Luckily I found Coast to Coast surrogacy. From the moment I reached out I felt informed and supported. I was matched with the most incredible IPs and that was thanks to this agency. The process from beginning to end was intimidating at times due to it being my first surrogate journey, but in those moments I reached out with questions and was met with compassion and support. I would 100% be a surrogate and choose CTCS again when the right time comes. If you are considering being a surrogate or even an IP looking for a surrogate, reach out with questions. This agency is filled with incredible people with answers, guidance, and support. This was one of the most fulfilling journeys and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.…
Wonderful surrogacy agency. Everyone was nice and knowledgeable, as well as professional. They are legitimate and good at directions on the process.
Christy Lanaux with Coast to Coast Surrogacy and Egg Donation is a money hungry, selfish, greedy woman who does not care about her surrogates or the Intended Parents. I would highly advise against working with this agency. I have worked with Coast to Coast Surrogacy twice now as a surrogate. I had a terrible experience after this recent surrogacy pregnancy that finished in December. Unfortunately we had a fetal demise which was completely tragic and awful for all of us but the agency owner, Christy Lanaux, was not supportive at all. Four days after the stillbirth, the IM and Christy starting asking me for my records. This was two days after Christmas and I was with family trying to recover mentally and physically. Since I did not give them my records in the timeframe that they requested they then took legal action and froze the escrow account and accused me of being in breach of the contract. A few weeks after this, I signed the HIPPA release form so that the parents could access my records for themselves. I then assumed that the escrow account would open up again and the situation would be resolved. Apparently that was not the case and the escrow account is still frozen despite signing the release form almost six months ago. (Also, just to clarify, the stillbirth was NOT from my doing at all. The autopsy and medical records show that I was in perfect health and did not do anything to contribute to the baby's death) Currently I have a $700 medical bill that is past due and has been sent to debt collectors. I have emailed the IPs attorney several times for any updates on the freeze and have recently asked Christy if she is able to try and open escrow again. When Christy replied to me, she scolded me and told me that she warned me this would happen and I should have listened to her in the first place and given them the records when the initially asked for them. Mind you, sometimes it does take a few weeks for the records specific to the pregnancy and birth to be released from the hospital. We were also still waiting on several tests results as well. Even if I immediately went in to get the records it still would have taken some time to get them and have them sent over. Instead of Christy helping me with this situation and being supportive during a traumatic incident, she is scolding me and prolonging this situation. Christy also likes to communicate with the IPs in a biased manner. She tends to prefer the parents over the surrogate and does not act like a mediator the way a coordinator should. I also thought that it was strange when early on in the pregnancy she told me that she was not comfortable with me messaging the IM individually without her in a group chat with all of us. Clearly, this agency has unethical and unprofessional behaviors. I will be in the process of filing a small claims suit against this business and plan on reporting them to the Texas Attorney General.…
I love being a surrogate. This is my 2nd journey with coast to coast and I couldn't be more loved and happy. They are with me every step of the way.
The best surrogacy agency we've ever worked with. Christy is an amazing partner and we'd recommend her with zero hesitation: thoughtful, reliable, collaborative and very kind. Highly recommend coast to coast surrogacy and Christy 😊
