They updated me as the process went on and were letting me pick my own attorney. They really care and I was happy. The only thing that I wasn’t to satisfied with is the bill for the donor’s 7-day stay. They booked a hotel at $400–$500 per night, with one night totaling $600 at a resort-style property. There were over $1,000 in Uber and transportation charges, including personal and unaccounted-for trips, and an $800 round-trip flight from Denver to Los Angeles listed as a companion fare. The total expenses came to over $9,000 for just one week, not including donor compensation or agency fees despite there being reasonably priced hotels just blocks from the clinic. I’m a middle school teacher and have to work an entire week for 1 day of the surrogates expenses (7 weeks for 7 days) and thought the agency could have done a better job on being more effective with travel.…
Potential surrogates go anywhere else! My wife had three failed transfers and they dropped her even though she was contractually obligated for 4. Everything checked out perfectly each time and the clinic even said she had a “model uterus”. They seemed to care much more about the intended parents (the people paying them) than they do the potential surrogates. We’ve spoken to two other women who have had similar horror stories. We’ve now wasted months and months and have to start over.
I want to be a surrogate more than anything - and I was led on to believe that everything was going great. I just received an email stating that I am no longer eligible - and they are unable to tell me why. I have had two healthy pregnancies & deliveries, I am of sound mind, and this is something I have dreamed of doing for a very long time - and despite the effort that has already been put in, I am not even allowed to know why I can’t move forward? It’s rude and a waste of my time. Furthermore, I was told I would receive some sort of gift card for my time - do you think that happened?! Lol!! I mean, totally unprofessional and inconsiderate of possible surrogates precious time and resources. Do better.…

I was told I would get a 100$ Amazon card for completing their screening with no pressure to do a surgancy if I was uncomfortable, that was 60days ago I reached out because they failed to disclose it was 60+ days backed up on gift cards I was counting on the money for my children for Christmas and it's still haven't been sent, very disappointed to say the least, If I was to go forward with an agency I would not use them simply because you can't trust them to pay out a Amazon card in a timely manner so I would be terrified they would have the payments to Carry 6 months behind as well, I will update my review if / when I receive the payment they promised leading up to the 45 min phone screening…

Ash was my coordinator. we had gone through all of the process up to the mental health assessment They had already gathered all of my medical information and said it looked great. I had to reschedule the three hour mental health assessment once because my babysitter canceled on me and kids are not allowed to be present during the zoom call and a Second time because my fiancé had gotten sick. I had rescheduled for a date soon after and I got a call from Ash Now saying that my medical paperwork does not look good and they couldn’t move forward with my application. I do understand that rescheduling a meeting can be frustrating, but it is a three hour meeting where your children cannot be present. And to come up with a BS lie about my medical information that I was already told looked good is really unprofessional and I’m glad they canceled. If this is how they are.…
They don't actually pay for their little borderline MLM/ Pyramid Scheme they have going on. Do not trust them with your private information and especially not a surrogacy. Smells like a breach of contract and probably a data breach will compromise the information they stole later on down the road
I started my very first journey in August 2023, and it is now November 2024 and I am currently 28 weeks pregnant. Conceivabiities has been with me every step of the way from checking in to making sure I get the perfect match, to sending sweet little gifts along the way. We’ve had a longer journey than the typical donor process and they has been in constant communication with us, even responding to emails over the weekend and sending us condolence cards after our dogs passed away. Unethical/greedy/shady business. They breached the contract several times by not paying me my food/travel money before travel and arrival to the fertility clinic as promised. Hard to get information or get ahold of them and puts the blame for everything on you. They lost my medications in the mail and couldn’t explain to me how or why which slowed the process of me getting to donate my eggs by months then they blamed me for it. After my procedure they left me in my hotel room while I was bed ridden and told me they booked another night but housekeeping knocked on the door and told me they never booked another night and I needed to check out while I was still bed ridden. After speaking consistently to conceivabilities for months and months they did not check on me or thank/congratulate me after my procedure, I woke up to silence on the other end of the phone which made me feel like nothing but a business move and dehumanized. Overall it was a whole fever dream nightmare and they will now not have me back or try to do better and right there wrongs because they say I took more than 24 hours to respond on several occasion as if they didn’t as well. It was an absolute pleasure working with ConceiveAbilities! I applied back in 2017 but decided to postpone my application to have one more baby of my own. But as they say, surrogacy gets stuck in your heart, so I reapplied in 2020. Times sure were crazy with Covid and all! Although we never met personally, I was immediately connected to the support staff at ConAb! I applied and was matched with the perfect couple all within just 3 or 4 months! They guided me through the entire process: medical, legal, insurance, etc. and they never left my side, even when I had cold feet the days before the embryo transfer. I only give it a three star because I emailed them and spoke to someone about donating my eggs and I asked the person before I apply should I just wait until my birth control is out and start back having regular periods the lady told me that me being on birth control didn’t matter and that I should still apply which was wrong because I was denied.

For my 2nd match they had me approved by the clinic first, and we are on track to have our virtual meeting and see if we want to move forward! I just wrapped up my first journey as a GC with Conceivabilities on June 2nd. I had an absolutely wonderful experience. They responded very quickly whenever I had any questions, and were so great at keeping me informed about what the steps were along the way. I never felt like I was guessing what was coming next, etc. The matching process took one month and I honestly couldn't have chosen better IP's for me than they did. Currently trying to work with them. After not wanting to match with one IP because I felt our personalities wouldn't be good together, they have now said it will be hard to match me and tried to force me with my first potential IP. Now they say they are sending out my profile to a lot of places but "it might take several weeks for a clinic to say yes" even though they sent me the IPs profile first before sending my info out the first time. Now I feel like they are just stringing me along. About to jump ship.…
I've worked with them and honestly, I don't have anything bad to say. My coordinator Ashley was great and I liked the group meetings when I attended. I had no issues with the agency, only some issues with the clinic I had to work with for the surrogacy which is unrelated. Some people have comments about their all-inclusive comp but I didn't mind that. Very straight forward and easy process with them. I used them for my second journey.
I originally was going to go with them as a GC but as stated above, they were pushy and everything felt transactional. The main thing for me was they gave me a deadline to sign my contract with them and said if I didn’t do it by x date I wouldn’t get a gift card. Then when I said I wanted to look at other agencies, they asked if I wanted more money. 😳
I'm currently a GC for that agency and they have been nothing but supportive throughout the journey so far. They are very responsive and I'm so happy with the match I was set up with. 😀
From an IPs perspective we interviewed them and were not impressed. We were quoted close to 200k and only about a quarter of that was going directly to the GC. It also felt to pushy and to transactional.

We had a meeting with them, as I saw in another comment, but we started having problems with the delay in responses and we got scared. We started the process with an agency that allowed us to meet a surrogate to ask her questions about how she was treated, etc. We're super happy with our choice; I think another comment here said exactly the same thing—being able to talk to one of their surrogates before signing is very reassuring
Didn’t like them when I interviewed with them (GC)
IP here. Long wait time to be matched, possibly due to our vaccination requirements, but generally everyone we’ve communicated with has been competent. We were less than thrilled with some of the matches presented to us but finally matched recently after waiting a year.
For me, I never felt like my case manager cared to actually get to know me and my lifestyle. I got an email address at the beginning of my journey and it would take 3-4-5 days to get any responses from them. The communication was sporadic at best. My per diems were all messed up for my transfer. But the biggest thing is that I REALLY never felt like I had an advocate at that agency. Nobody was educating me, nobody was telling me what I needed to ask for or have in place in order to protect myself as a surrogate. I felt like I was a number to them, not a person. I should’ve been treated better, but I truly didn’t know how sub par the care of the surrogate was until I joined a different agency and saw the difference.…
