From the very beginning, I interviewed with several different agencies but I felt the strongest connection with EDSS. They answered all of my questions & more importantly they asked a lot of questions about me. I really appreciated that because it showed me they wanted to make sure I was matched with intended parents who were the right fit for me not just move me through the process quickly. The process itself wasn’t quick & I actually think that was a good thing. We took our time finding the right IPs & making sure everything felt right. I was able to look through the intended parents profiles and choose my top five. I personally wanted to work with intended parents who lived in the same state as me if possible & I was fortunate enough to have that happen! The farthest I traveled was about an hour & a half to the IVF clinic. I also appreciated having the ability to choose my own OB & schedule my appointments with a provider who worked well with my work schedule. Having that flexibility made a big difference for me. My coordinator, Rachel, was truly perfect for the job. She was there for me throughout the entire journey & answered all of my questions. She walked me through every step, from legal & the embryo transfer to pregnancy & postpartum. Anytime there was a bump in the road Rachel was there to help us work through it. The only challenges I personally experienced were related to my limited insurance plan, which resulted in me needing to choose a new OB & having a few bumps along the way. I also had a slight hiccup with short term disability through my job. These things were specific to my personal situation but I would definitely recommend taking the time to understand your insurance coverage & choosing a plan that works well for a surrogacy journey. My intended parents were such caring & wonderful people. They checked in on me as often as they could & came to most of my OB appointments. Even though our busy schedules meant we didn’t get to spend as much time together as we might have liked, they always made an effort to stay connected. They sent sweet messages, checked in on me & even asked how my kids were doing, which meant a lot to me. I was very thankful to have no major complications during pregnancy, delivery, or postpartum other than the normal postpartum healing. I will say that this pregnancy was very different from my own pregnancies & I think that is something every potential surrogate should keep in mind. Every pregnancy & every journey can be different so it’s important to go into it with an open mind & realistic expectations. Looking back, I am very grateful for my experience with EDSS & for the people who supported me throughout my journey. If I were to do another journey in the future, there are definitely a few things I would do differently to make the experience even smoother but overall, I am very happy with my decision to choose EDSS. My first surrogacy journey is officially complete (I delivered baby about 7 weeks ago) and I couldn’t be more thankful that I chose Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions! I have used ED&SS for both of my journeys. From the get go, they have been nothing short of amazing. From top tier communication, their hands on work, and making me feel like an actual human being and not a number, they have stood apart from any other agency out there. I completed two cycles with this company, and I absolutely loved the experience. My twin sister also completed two cycles, and I was her partner during her retrieval weeks. So, in addition to helping create families, I got to travel to four different states with all my expenses paid and had such an amazing time! We created so many wonderful memories along the way. Not to mention the compensation, which really helped me treat myself to so many wonderful things. I even bought my first car with the money I earned from my first cycle! Their requirements for both egg donors and surrogates are very strict (literally more strict than any other agency I’ve spoken to) and I am frustrated that I wasted time applying to them because they had gotten such great reviews. In addition, I wasn’t a fan of my experience with them even in the short time I had. The texts felt like I was talking to Amazon customer service, very impersonal and the phone call was exactly the same. The individual sounded rushed and kind of rude. Barnett is who I texted with and spoke on the phone with. I wasn’t impressed. I’ve spoken with multiple agencies at this point and this was genuinely the only bad experience/impression I’ve had. Age 28 is their cut off for egg donors, which is not ASRM guidelines and is lower than the standard. Their concern was me being on Sertraline until I found out I was pregnant with my son. She stated that if it’s on my records at all, it would be an automatic no (even though I didn’t take it while pregnant) which is not ASRM guidelines and if it’s not on my records then we could try to move forward but with the impression I got, I would not have any interest in moving forward with them regardless. I have checked my records and the only place Sertraline is mentioned is on my anatomy scan, and I was 1000% not on it then so I have no clue why it’s listed there but it’s nowhere else in any of my records. Where other agencies are being kind and talking to me about things like this and looking into things to see if it’s actually an issue or not (which thus far it has not been for ANY other agency), Barnett was not kind and very quickly shut me down. It felt like I was a bother to her. Neither of these have to do with ASRM guidelines and I’ve been approved by very reputable agencies with wonderful reviews so the issue is not with other agencies as they all follow ASRM guidelines as well. With the reviews that ED&SS gets, I was expecting a much different, much more pleasant experience (even if they couldn’t move forward with me for whatever reason) and I was sorely disappointed.…

I signed up to be a donor. Did not receive any interest for nearly 2 years. When they did contact me with an interested party, I did not want to donate anymore (planning my wedding and would be trying to conceive after). I asked them to delete my profile several times before anyone got back to me and said ok. Over 6 months later, today, they contact me and ask if I'd like to be a donor before they delete my profile. I completed my 1st cycle with this agency. My donation cycle moved rather quickly in the beginning stages, although I didn’t feel overwhelmed. My direct contact Angela, really made the process very seamless from the beginning to the end. I did have to travel for my donation, that process was very easy and the hotel stay was comfortable. Egg donor solution provides travel accommodation that have never been offered to me by another egg donor agency. We had such an amazing, supported experience working with Angela and the entire team. There were so many times that they were on step ahead of us, knowing the questions we should have been asking, and answering them before they occurred to us. Deciding to be a surrogate is wonderful decision, but it can also be a bit scary. There are so many unknowns! I'm on my second journey with Surrogate Solutions. I was between them and conceivabilities when I first went around, but I telt like they were more personable and wouldn't treat me like a number. I truly feel like family, my coordinator Amy is the best, and every single person there is truly rooting for you. They also give the best goodies (not that I have anything to compare to but I was surprised the first go around with how much they actually give you for gifts).
My first surrogacy journey is officially complete (I delivered baby about 7 weeks ago) and I couldn’t be more thankful that I chose Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions! Most of their staff have all been surrogates and they have educated me so well on the processes and even have an amazing podcast called The Create A Happy Family podcast. I got to pick my desired base and the families I wished to carry for. I was never asked to change my comp or my views on vaccines or termination. The agency & my coordinator are wonderful with communication. They work beyond m-f 9-5 and I have never felt like a number or alone. I live north of Atlanta and had a great experience as an IP with Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions. (For full disclosure, I had such a great experience that I went on staff with them in 2025). Location of agency really doesn't make a huge difference. For what it's worth, I also worked with Lynn Goldman as an attorney and Linda Kondillis for psych and had a great experience. Highly recommend egg donor and surrogate solutions. They treat you like family, and are based out of Texas (not that that matters). They also give you the coolest goodies along the way. But things to consider when looking for an agency- make sure they are a part of seeds ethics committee, 3rd party escrow, you choose your own lawyer, you choose your own IPs (you don’t just want the next available), you choose your comp and non negotiables.
Everyone was great and professional, smooth process, helpful with mediating any concerns we had, on top of taking care of things logistically etc.
I am currently an IP with them and loving every step of the way so far. Every team member from insurance to matching and our amazing coordinator has been lovely! Very informative, great communication, kind, and caring. They really do go on the journey with you and advocate for you. We’ve had 1 embryo transfer so far that sadly didn’t work out, but keeping our fingers crossed and hoping the rest of the process goes great with this agency (I have a good feeling it will!)
