Christian EmmApr 2021Intended ParentLike many others here we were initially impressed with their seemingly premium selection of donors and Taylor was a friendly and charming character. It didn't take us long to find an ideal donor. However, like almost all attractive donors in their database she didn't donate before and therefore was never screened by a clinic at all. We knew from the ElevateBaby website that they would offer to select a different donor without extra charge if a donor was rejected for medical reasons. We were aware of the risk that our selected donor may not pass the screening (which did cost us almost $2000). Before we committed to get our preferred donor screened, we had a second donor from a different agency at hand, as an alternative choice. Because of that, we asked Taylor if he would make an exception and offer a full refund option in case the donor wasn't suitable. Within minutes he replied to that request by email and confirmed that they're happy to offer a full refund. The wording was very clear and couldn't be misunderstood at all. Me: > I would ask you for a full refund option (minus a handling fee if you need) in case she's not a suitable donor, instead of a free re-match. Reason why is that we currently have a second donor at hand who isn't with your agency. Do you think that's possible? Within hours they replied the following: > That is absolutely possible. Please take this email as a note that you will be refunded should the donor not come back as a good match for you. I agree that you should begin her screening so we can get all of the results pending and set you up for a retrieval quickly. A few hours later he sent us their agency agreement to sign. The agreement didn't include the full refund option though. We signed it anyway, trusting in handshake quality and that they would stick to their promise of a full refund if things go sideways. Ultimately our preferred donor was rejected because of a serious DNA issue. When I asked Taylor to please refund the money as agreed earlier, he refused to do so and still refuses to date (6 months later now). They are playing waiting games with me, replying only to each 5th email and with weeks of delay. For months they tried to indicate that they're willing to settle this, but don't move. They're just sending me in circles to waste my time. E.g. they now asked for the 5th time for my bank account but still don't send the money back. Obviously this agency has no decency and doesn't care about business ethics, they're just after the money. Stay away from them if you can. It's all nice and shiny as long as the money keeps coming in on their bank account, but as soon as they're about to lose you as a client, they turn rogue and don't care about ethical business practices anymore. Taylor repeatedly patronized and insulted me in the process while I was always calm in describing my case, supported by hard facts. The really shocking aspect of this story is that they're misusing their clients who are often times in very vulnerable situations. We were struggling for years to have our baby, with so many heart-breaking set backs I've stopped counting them, almost losing my wife in the process. And then we get fooled by a shady donor agency on top, while living overseas having no realistic chance to find an US based lawyer who is willing to fight for our case. This is disappointing to a level that can't be described by words.…

At Elevate, we endeavor to help our clients reach their end goal as smoothly as possible. However, we can't please clients who refuse to abide by our agreements. Our contracts and retainers are extremely straightforward and fair. In fact, our policies are stated multiple times and on multiple documents. Our agency worked for many months on your cycle. Nevertheless, we still refunded you significantly more than what was agreed upon and our agency lost a considerable amount of time and money case managing your case. From what you shared with us, you have had issues with three other agencies - and like us, you have threatened them all to some degree when there have been hiccups. In IVF, sometimes hiccups arise, which is why we call it a "journey." Unfortunately, we can't control the medical side of the process, and for that reason we have a Guarantee Package that ensures donors pass medical clearance - first time donor or not. We stand by our agency and our experienced case managers regarding this case. In spite of everything, we do wish you the best on your journey in building your family. x…

My experience with Elevate Egg Donor has been nothing short of exceptional. I had been disappointed with what I was seeing online when perusing for donors. I was searching for this type of agency for months and I finally found them. What a relief! I personally chose this agency because I was looking for a concierge level of care since I am a single mother by choice and I like "hand holding." I tend to ask a lot of questions and prefer a more hands-on experience, and the entire team met me with efficiency, and genuine attentiveness. I worked well with everyone - Miu, Kyle, Kari, Taylor and Hannah were all great to me - and, again, I am not the easiest customer! From the very beginning, it was clear that this is an agency that operates at a truly elevated standard. Kyle spent a full hour with me walking through the surrogacy process in detail. He was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly approachable, which made what can feel like an overwhelming process feel calm, structured, and manageable. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Elevate Baby! I am a first time egg donor and I chose Elevate Baby because they were praised by both donors and intended parents. My experience with Elevate and becoming an egg donor has been both uplifting and rewarding. They are very organized and manage everything in a timely manner. What has made my experience so special is my case manager, Miu. Not only has she planned every step of my donor journey (doctor's appointments, communication with my intended parents, and travel state to state), but she has also been the most supportive hand I've ever had in a clinical setting. As a young female donating for the first time, I was nervous. She has always made me feel comfortable and confident in all my decisions by explaining and answering every question or concern I may have. As a donor, I had an AMAZING experience with the Elevate team. I was previously with another agency, and switching over to Elevate was one of the best decisions I have made. Miu, Kyla and Megan made this whole process so enjoyable. They were extremely responsive, knowledgable, incredibly kind, and made me feel completely supported all throughout my journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Elevate to any donor looking for a professional, organized, and truly caring team!
Now that my surrogacy journey is complete, I can update this with more information. Communication with this company is questionable. Several times, I had to ask more than once to receive money for health insurance before escrow was established. Then when escrow was established, there were more issues with receiving payment. You can see when payment requests are submitted in the escrow account, and very often, I had to ask for things more than once. I did 2 contracts with a clinic in Mexico. When I swapped to a US clinic, they failed to communicate the difference in procedure with the appointments. We had issues with trying to request appointments outside of my working hours with the IPs approving the request and Elevate refusing to even attempt the request. They put me in a group text harassing me, even after I asked them to stop. They then had someone call me after 9 pm on a work night while I was early in the pregnancy. The stress and anxiety they caused unnecessarily was ridiculous. They then had the lawyer put pressure on me to remove the one star rating. They also later e-mailed me to add pressure to remove my rating.…

I’ve just completed my third donation through Elevate and have had an amazing experience each cycle. My coordinator, Miu Yamashita, was incredibly transparent and on top of everything I’ve needed making my donations rather enjoyable and breezy. I don't recommend this agency. They stopped responding to us when we ask "too many" questions. When we finally got a hold of them, they told us that they don't work with our doctor, apparently due to a personal dispute the owner has with our doctor. Not professional at all. Plenty of better agencies out there to work with.

Kyla has been an incredible case manager and resource to me during my time as an egg donor with Elevate. She consistently goes out of her way to answer any and all of my questions, making sure I have felt comfortable at all points of the donor process. I’ve used Elevate as an egg donor for 6 years now and truly have no complaints! The entire team is very knowledgeable, kind, and make it known how much they appreciate both their IPs and donors. As an egg donor, Elevate’s team made sure to answer any questions I’ve had and most importantly, were very honest in their responses. Choosing to undergo IVF is a major decision for anyone and Elevate’s girls definitely do not take that decision lightly. Elevate is overall such an incredible company. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kyla for three of my egg donations so far, and she’ll be the case manager for my upcoming fourth donation as well. I just went through my first Egg Donation with this company. I had previously been on the list for a couple of years with another company and never got any callbacks or any further information so I decided to switch to this company. Miu Has been such a huge help she was there for us. Every step of the way ever questioned me or my husband had I could not have imagined doing it without her by my side from traveling at a state to all of the doctors appointments all of the medications she was there to walk us through anything we needed help with. My husband and I had a great experience working with Megan. We had to do some extra work (I found out I have a genetic mutation, and so we had to coordinate so our egg donor could get tested for the mutation too) and Megan was a great ally and advocate for us in the process. It's expensive, but we have several healthy embryos now, and are continuing on with our journey. Very grateful for our time with Elevate :)

I want to leave this review as a warning to other intended parents. I have my full email correspondence documented, but I’ll summarize here. The donor I inquired about already has frozen eggs, marketed with high retrievals, & she looks like my mother’s side of the family - Perfect! However, she is a carrier for several serious diseases. When I emailed Elevate’s CEO for more information about moving forward, I was sent a generic line about the donor, the cost breakdown, no disclaimer of donor’s testing, and links to read about their processes/programs, how to hold the donor, and told “Let me know if you have any questions!” … Am I buying premium luxury or am I buying from Temu? (Unlike the other 15 agencies I spoke to) nobody offered to jump on a call and talk/meet with me. This is supposed to be exciting right? Finding a donor is a big deal, right? Are the links going to answer my questions about her testing??? Anyways, I replied to the email with my questions and concerns on things I found suspicious and I wanted an explanation on. When I raised these concerns, the CEO responded: “First, the way we run our business is not up for external review.” Since it is up for review here on Google, I’m leaving my review. Rather than addressing my concerns, they were deflected and my questions were reframed as if they were only about “my budget.” And she even said, “If you are looking for lower tier agencies with lower costs, I would recommend reaching out to Signature Donors or ACRC, who may be a better fit for your budget and expectations.” To be clear, I fully understand this process is expensive, and that donors deserve to be well compensated. My issue was never just cost—it was about transparency, fairness, and trust. Infertility is so unfair (and this industry can be too) for intended parents in already vulnerable situations, and after reviewing the breakdown (and having the extensive fertility background I have) I had questions.. Serious questions. Out of the 15 agencies I reviewed, Elevate was the least helpful and the most dismissive. I also want to note that based on their email tone (and other review responses I see here), I fully expect a defensive and gaslighting response here. But that only confirms what I experienced: dismissiveness, reframing, and a lack of compassion. If you are on this journey, please review multiple agencies. In my experience, nearly every other one I spoke with was far more transparent, compassionate, and kind than Elevate. Other agencies (and my selected agency) that I had conversations with and enjoyed: Donor Nexus, Beverly Hills ED, IVF Origen, The Chosen One, Cofertility, Giving Hope Egg Donation, Everie, MyEggBank, Growing Generations, Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions, Eggceptional, Egg Donation Inc, Donor Concierge, Fairfax, (I talked to Lucina too but didn’t have a good experience there either… Real salesy) I proceed with caution when I read reviews and I hope intended parents do the same. I have worked for companies that had a “high” number of 5 star reviews.. It’s not hard to ask for reviews. But it is nice to see some parents (not just donors) had a good experience here.…

Elevate was excellent to work with from the very beginning. The staff and resources were spectacular and so supportive through the whole process. The experience was a joy and we strongly recommend working with Elevate.
As a single intended father, I had a great experience with Elevate. They had frozen eggs available from a beautiful, intelligent donor that were too good to pass up. I immediately placed a hold on the donor's profile. I had concerns about using frozen eggs versus fresh eggs because I had heard that frozen eggs often did not survive the thawing process and that they were harder to fertilize. I did not want to spend a lot of money only to end up with no good embryos. Fortunately, Elevate had the answer. They connected me to Western Fertility Institute, where Dr. Kumar explained to me how previously frozen eggs could be fertilized using Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), where the sperm gets injected directly into the egg. After getting genetically tested to make sure the donor and I did not share any common bad genes, I paid for twelve frozen eggs. Even though I had not met the donor yet, Elevate agreed to provide her name and contact information to me (with the donor's authorization) in the event of a resulting pregnancy. In the end, with the services of Western Fertility Institute, all twelve of the eggs survived the thawing, nine of the eggs fertilized, six reached the blastocyst stage, and PGT-A testing revealed four good quality embryos. I’ve donated twice and am currently on my third donation. I will say I was very hesitant at first as I’m sure many new donors are but after meeting with Tara at first and hearing about her own personal experience I was really impressed by the amount of empathy and care given to me as a donor. Speaking with Taylor was informative and helped bring some glimmers of joy to what can be a very trying experience.
Like many others here we were initially impressed with their seemingly premium selection of donors and Taylor was a friendly and charming character. It didn't take us long to find an ideal donor. However, like almost all attractive donors in their database she didn't donate before and therefore was never screened by a clinic at all. We knew from the ElevateBaby website that they would offer to select a different donor without extra charge if a donor was rejected for medical reasons. We were aware of the risk that our selected donor may not pass the screening (which did cost us almost $2000 on top of the agency fee). Before we committed to get our preferred donor screened, we had a second donor from a different agency at hand, as an alternative choice. Because of that, we asked Taylor if he would make an exception and offer a full refund option in case the donor wasn't suitable. Within minutes he replied to that request by email and confirmed that they're happy to offer a full refund. The wording was very clear and couldn't be misunderstood at all. Me: > I would ask you for a full refund option (minus a handling fee if you need) in case she's not a suitable donor, instead of a free re-match. Reason why is that we currently have a second donor at hand who isn't with your agency. Do you think that's possible? Shortly after he replied the following: > That is absolutely possible. Please take this email as a note that you will be refunded should the donor not come back as a good match for you. I agree that you should begin her screening so we can get all of the results pending and set you up for a retrieval quickly. A few hours later he sent us their agency agreement to sign. The agreement didn't include the full refund option though. We signed it anyway, trusting in handshake quality and that they would stick to their promise of a full refund if things go sideways. Ultimately our preferred donor was rejected because of a serious DNA issue. When I asked Taylor to please refund the money as agreed earlier, he refused to do so and still refuses to date (6 months later now). They are now playing waiting games with me, replying only to each 5th email and with weeks of delay. For months they tried to indicate that they're willing to settle this, but don't move at all. They're just sending me in circles to waste my time. E.g. they now asked for the 5th time for my bank account but still don't send the money back. Obviously this agency has no decency and doesn't care about business ethics, they're just after the money. Stay away from them if you can. It's all nice and shiny as long as the money keeps coming in on their bank account, but as soon as they're about to lose you as a client, they turn rogue and don't care about ethical business practices anymore. Taylor repeatedly patronized and insulted me in the process while I was always calm in describing my case, supported by hard facts. The really shocking aspect of this story is that they're misusing their clients who are often times in very vulnerable situations. We were struggling for years to have our baby, with so many heart-breaking set backs I've stopped counting them, almost losing my wife in the process. And then we get fooled by a shady donor agency on top, while living overseas, having no realistic chance to find an US based lawyer who is willing to fight for our case for 'only' a couple thousand dollars. This is disappointing to a level that can't be described by words.…
Very poor communication. The agency took weeks to reply to many of our inquiries and didn't reply to several of our questions at all, so we lost trust in their services and moved on.

I want to start off by saying WOW. As a first time donor, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. I had heard about Elevate through a friend, and she convinced me to look into egg donation. Quickly my application was approved and we scheduled an interview. The interview was hardly an interview at all, it was fun and genuine conversation was had.. everyone involved was the sweetest and such good people. They asked thought provoking questions which made me feel comfortable and confident that I was going down the right path. Shortly after that, I found out I was selected by a family to help them on their journey. I was excited and nervous and had all the feels. Although there were several speed bumps along the way (mainly due to COVID), Tara was there with me every step of the way reassuring me and helping me navigate through it all. She consistently checked up on me during the injection period, she reminded me of appointments, and never failed to calm me down when I faced moments of stress. Throughout my experience, I heavily relied on her and she was my rock. With all this being said, I just got chosen to do another cycle, and I can't wait to work with Tara and the rest of the Elevate team once again! I know I will be treated right and completely taken care of all along the way. I've recommended this agency to several of my prospective egg donor friends and would recommend it to anyone who is curious about this realm of work. It is difficult to put into words just how important Elevate was in helping my partner and I conceive our very first child. Prior to finding Elevate, we simply could not find an egg donor agency with even one donor close to the quality that Elevate had overflowing from their egg donor database. What began as difficult, because we could not find even one promising donor, became even more difficult because Elevate's database contained too many promising options that seemed to fit all of our stringent requirements. Going through surrogacy can be very tough and challenging, but working with Elevate was such a pleasure and they took a lot of the needless difficulty out of the process. I first meet with a few other agencies trying find the right donor without much success. I felt like I was getting pressured into using the donors they had available even though they just were not quite right for me. I even utilized a "concierge" service who had access to hundreds of donors - but still I was not successful and was getting disheartened. When I spoke with Taylor, it felt like he was the first person who really listened to me. He never tried to sell me on the donors he had immediately available - instead it felt much more like I was talking with a friend who had my best interests at heart. Not impressed with this agency. Their donors are beautiful, but beautiful does not always equal healthy. The donor consulting company we were working with pulled several profiles from Elevate that we immediately loved. A few days later they came back to us with further research on those donors and let us know that one had poor cycle results, another was rejected by other agencies, and another had an overly fluffed profile. Unacceptable when you consider their agency and donor fees. We brought up our concerns to our clinic and were immediately told our doctor will not work with Elevate. Enough said.…
