I worked with Family Inceptions as the agency for my surrogacy journey, and my son was born a year ago under their care. Looking back, I truly appreciate their role throughout the process. First, they were highly professional in every aspect of the arrangement—from matching with the right surrogate, coordinating experienced legal counsel, to ongoing monitoring and communication. This company denied me based off my past medical history. Today im completely healthy and have been for a couple yrs now. They ask you these questions on the application if your willing to carry for IPs with certain illnesses if they can insure it doesn't pass to you but deny me because of something that's no longer in my body, from what they seen on my medical records. That's completely wrong and unfair!!!
Family Inceptions was so helpful throughout my entire surrogacy journey. Pam (among others) stayed on top of all the things needed. I felt I always had someone to help me navigate the process that was so new to me. I couldn’t have made it without all their knowledge and help along the way.
From the very beginning, Family Inceptions was open and up front with their surrogacy process. I found Family Inceptions through some research of my own and I'm grateful I took a chance on them. They were incredibly attentive and I never had to worry or wonder what the next steps were. I was matched with a beautiful couple and we developed a relationship that didn't require a lot of extra intervention from Family Inceptions. After experiencing a broken match, which was emotionally difficult, April stepped in with care and efficiency. She quickly found a new match for me that not only felt right but also met all of my preferences, which I deeply appreciated. I am a 2x surrogate(soon to be 3x) in the medication phase of my 3rd journey. I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for Eloise and the other amazing people I’ve met at family inceptions, I would have only completed one journey. My first nightmare was a literal nightmare(this journey was NOT with family inceptions). During my first journey in 2020, I was 6 weeks and I was told, not asked, to terminate due to Covid. Luckily the wording of my contract saved me from being sued. The journey had been pretty great up until that point. Mainly bc the intended mother and I had a great relationship. The first agency had pretty much laid off all match managers and I had no support (through them). Thank goodness for my amazing friends and family! After I delivered a healthy baby in November of 2020, the parents thanked me for keeping their baby safe(after not speaking to me for almost all of the pregnancy). The agency “fired” me and my lawyer from every working with them again.(not that I would’ve ever worked with those people again anyways). But It was devastating to say the least. I thought since they “fired” me as a surrogate, that I would not be able to ever be a surrogate again. I was devastated. loved being pregnant, I loved helping a family grow and I thought wow, I will never be able to go through that again(with how awful I was treated and all of the stress throughout the pregnancy). Fast forward a few months and an amazing woman from family inceptions reached out to me (who just so happened to also have an awful journey with the first agency). She did not reach out to convince me to work with family inceptions. She reached out to me to check on me and tell me that there are better, honest, kind and authentic agencies out there. I asked her more about family inceptions and she told me all about Eloise and why/ how family inceptions was started. In the next 2 years I did meet with 5, yes FIVE other agency’s to see how they were. I wanted to see how they spoke to me, if they were sincere and caring. None seemed to be as heartless as the first agency, but I just didn’t resonate with them. That is when I reached back out to that amazing woman at family inceptions. I even got to talk with Eloise herself! Which meanst more to me than she’ll ever know. Talk about a beautiful and kind soul! I was so scared to start another surrogacy journey, but with family inceptions supporting me, I knew I had to follow my heart and help another family. I delivered a beautiful baby boy in March 2023! Now I am almost ready for transfer for my 3rd and final surrogacy journey (this will be my 3rd csection). I cannot say enough great things about family inceptions! I’ve been with Family Inceptions through 2 journeys as a gestational surrogate. They’re the only company I’ve used and I have really loved every interaction with them. From start to finish they are as involved as you want them to be. I have never once thought to check out other companies due to how wonderful Family Inceptions is. My coordinator, Jessi, has become one of my favorite people to talk to. They really are there 24/7 to help with anything you need or just to chat! Everything is very personable and feels like a real connection and not like you’re just a number. As a surrogate they really make sure all your needs are met and that you’re 110% comfortable with everything. They go at your pace and really take every little detail into consideration. My husband and I worked with Family Inceptions as IPs in 2022-2023. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with them. Entering the world of gestational surrogacy as an IP can be incredibly overwhelming and everyone on the Family Inceptions staff made us feel so at ease and supported. We were fortunate enough to match immediately after signing with our angel of a surrogate, Kelsie. She and her sweet family could not have been a better fit for us. They were located about 3 hours from us which meant I was able to attend a lot of appts and see them throughout the pregnancy which was such a blessing. Our fertility clinic was ACRM in Atlanta, our contract attorney was Chelsea Caldwell, and our escrow agency was Ally. They were all wonderful and made the process pretty seamless. We did have some hiccups with our GC's attorney and our attorneys who handled our PBO (incorrect info on paperwork, slow to respond on some of the contract notes, incorrect info on PBO) but everyone on the Family Inceptions side did a great job of keeping things moving. Our coordinator, Jessi, was incredible. I could be totally candid with her which was so appreciated since this experience is emotional and overwhelming at times. She always took our calls and checked in on us after appointments and pregnancy milestones which I so appreciated. We always felt very heard and I can't imagine having that level of responsiveness from any other agency. Jessi was also so thoughtful in helping me find books for our older sibling (that I carried) to help explain the surrogacy process in an age appropriate way. We signed with FI in August of 2022, matched immediately thereafter, transferred February 1, 2023 and welcomed our beautiful son on September 30, 2023. Our son is SUCH a joy and while there is heartbreak in not carrying your own child, I would do it all again in a heartbeat. We are so proud of our son's story and when I look at him, I am constantly reminded of the goodness of others. I’m a Gestational Surrogate and I just completed my first Journey with Family Inceptions March 11, 2024. Wanted to give my review. From the very beginning this Agency seriously impressed me! The introduction was so prompt and informative. I was assigned my Journey Manager Jessi. She was so amazing and on top of everything. I could reach out to her at all hours (literally!!) with any tiny question/concern. She was so down to earth, professional, and personable. I now sincerely think of her as a friend. From the first email and phone call to the check in calls after delivery, Family Inceptions has been exceptional. Everyone was so patient with me in the beginning discovery phase, answering any and all questions I had, and I had a bunch! The entire team has been amazing throughout the whole journey from my Journey Manager (Jessi), to the admin team, the social media team, the escrow team/company they work with, seriously, I have no complaints about anything that was in their control. When we did have issues with the fertility clinic, Jessi stepped in and stayed on top of them, making multiple requests, phone calls, she dealt with the headache/hassle for me. It's hard to put into words just how wonderful this company is. They're fulfilling dreams every day - not just for the parents, but for hopeful surrogates (like myself). Working with Jesse has been such an amazing experience. She is completely selfless and giving. Family Inceptions helped make every step of my carrier journey as smooth as possible. Everything was taken at my own pace and every question I could possibly conceive of was thoroughly explained. & let me tell you - they really jumped through hoops for me to work with them! I had given birth to my second child in Japan, & Jesse straight up reached out to that Japanese clinic to get a hold of my records AND THEN had them translated! They take every precaution to ensure that the carrier & the parents are in the best possible situation throughout the journey. I remember feeling a little hesitant when they mentioned I would need to have a psych eval with a therapist, as well as my partner. But after I've heard some horror stories of what others have gone through with surrogates they've used outside of agencies, it's so smart and amazing that they do this! I am a GC who delivered in September of this year. I would definitely 10/10 recommend this agency to anyone on this journey! From the very beginning, I felt like I never had to worry about anything. My journey manager (Jessi) was always great at communicating about what was needed and what was happening during each and every step. During matching, I saw several profiles but none felt exactly right (until I saw our IPs). When she saw that one she had a great feeling about it and was very excited, and when she sent it to me, I knew right then that they were the best fit for us. Jessi’s excitement and support did not go unnoticed! The great communication and support continued throughout the entire journey. She kept us updated during the legal contract (attorney used was Magic City Law in Mountain Brook, AL and they were great as well) and helped me understand what certain things meant. I always felt like I go could truly go to her for anything. The clinic was Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine and again, they were great and we had such a smooth journey with them. The escrow company we used was Ally Escrow and they were great as well. All comp payments came right on time. Any time I had to submit a reimbursement, I sent it to Jessi who submitted it to escrow right away and it was always processed quickly. Even during labor and through postpartum, Jessi checked on me frequently and I could tell she truly cared about us all. For starters, Jessi, the most amazing woman and so helpful and thoughtful and caring! she makes sure if there is absolutely anything you need, NO MATTER THE TIME, she has your back. She tries her hardest to make sure you are happy and healthy the entire pregnancy. Not one thing you say to her can go wrong. As most know picking a place to become a surrogate is actually very serious, but she made it a no brainer after the first conversation we had. The amount of effort she puts into making sure you find the most perfect match is unbelievable, thanks to her me and my IPS have the best relationship and we are so close today. I had an issue with my OB office and as soon as I let her know that I felt unheard she was right there calling them to figure out what was going on. I went into preterm labor and the amount of support she gives out to someone is amazing. any questions I had with escrow ( your financial stuff ) she was on it within minutes. you never felt out of the loop with her. My IP’s are amazing & Jessi was hands down amazing and I only hope if you pick this place you get the same experience I did. Its a very beautiful thing what you are doing & I could go on about how strong we are as woman but this place and the people they have in your support circle is amazing & they never let you forget how awesome you are! Speaking as a new parent, there was some time when we wondered whether or not I would ever get here. Family Inceptions was instrumental in making this possible. When my wife and I decided to pursue surrogacy to start our family, we did not know anyone who had done this before, and we were struggling to find any guidance. I’m a first time surrogate, and I 100% enjoyed my experience, and all of that is thanks to April. My journey with Family Inceptions started in late 2020, and finished in October of this year. There were a lot of bumps in the road (which is very common in surrogacy and none of it was because of the agency), but April was always incredibly caring and gentle, had great communication, and was just an amazing person to work with! I’ll definitely be doing another journey, and I’m claiming April right now! But also, FI has been easy to work with since taking the qualifying quiz. Once I qualified, I immediately got an email to move on with next steps. FI is an amazing agency and everyone I’ve come in contact with has been incredibly nice, and efficient. They sent me care packages with every trimester, set me up with a health coach (who was also named April, and was incredible). Back in January 2022 is when I started my journey to become a surrogate. Jessi was the first one I contacted, who ended up being my case manager. From the beginning Jessi has always been extremely friendly, honest, quick to get back to me in every aspect, and supportive. I started my surrogacy journey 18 months ago with Family Inceptions. Through every step of the way Jessi, my Journey Manager, helped me. When my husband and I were given the news that I would be unable to carry our embryo that had already been created and was just waiting to be transferred, we were completely broken hearted. In October of 2018 I started my first surrogacy journey, I looked into a few different agencies and then came across Family Inceptions. We did IVF in February of 2019 and I delivered in October of 2019. This journey was an amazing experience for me. I truly believe that Family Inceptions contributed to that. They were an amazing support system for me, in more ways that business. I was able to call when I was stressing about issues that were completely out of their control and they were always open to giving me advice and helping in any way they could. When I originally started I thought I would be one time and done but with me having such an amazing journey I chose to do it again. Again I transferred in February and delivered in October, only in 2021. What I thought was an amazing experience the first time was even better this time. Having an agency behind you that treats you like friends and family and not like a business deal makes a world of different in any business but especially in such an intimate business, that this truly is. My review is based on my experience as a gestational carrier (surrogate). Family Inceptions was an amazing company to work with. I recently completed my first journey with them, and everything was what I hoped it would be. What's great about this company is that they really focus on their GC's as people, not just "baby-factory bots". When they think they've found a good match, the IP profile gets submitted to you first for review and if you're interested in moving forward, then yours is sent to the IP's for them to review. I was perfectly matched with a family and had a personal advocate (huge shout out to April!) to help along the way with appointment location and scheduling, questions of what comes next, and even until my final postpartum follow-up exam. Family Inceptions participates in a program called Surronqiue which provides gifts and surprises along the way for the surrogates which is so incredibly thoughtful. As an experience surrogate she has a lot of insights, and she went with me to both of my transfers since my IPs weren't local. Eloise is a very hard worker. She's so sweet and is an awesome matchmaker! She already had an IP couple in mind for me and my husband after my initial interview...and after my first phone conversation with them...I knew she had chosen a perfect match! Eloise is a woman of God and is not afraid to shout it out to the world. She also has been a surrogate multiple times. After knowing all of this I feel at ease working with her. I delivered twins almost two years ago and still have a wonderful relationship with Eloise. FII was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. They let me have a say in each aspect along the way and I felt very comfortable through the entire process.
