I spent a significant amount of time researching before deciding which company to donate my eggs through, and ultimately chose GG. I’m writing this review because I wish I had come across something this transparent during my own decision-making process. The egg donation process requires far more time, energy, and personal investment than is communicated upfront. Before even being matched with intended parents, you go through months of preparation—building a detailed profile, gathering extensive personal and family medical history, completing written responses, recording a video, and submitting photos. Even after completing all of this, there is no guarantee you will ever be selected. Once matched, the process becomes even more demanding. It involves psychological evaluations, genetic screening, drug testing, bloodwork, and multiple ultrasounds. Donors are responsible for scheduling and attending all of these appointments themselves, and there is no compensation for time, travel, or the impact on your work schedule. In my experience, my calendar quickly became dominated by donation-related commitments. Communication throughout the process can also be challenging. You are in contact with multiple parties—doctors, coordinators, legal representatives—but there is little coordination between them. I often found myself acting as the intermediary, relaying information back and forth, which led to confusion and added stress. At times, it felt unclear who was responsible for ensuring I fully understood each step. The medical portion is also more intensive than many may expect. You are required to self-administer multiple daily hormone injections that significantly affect your body, followed by travel for monitoring appointments and the retrieval procedure. In my case, this required multiple cross-country trips and taking extended time off work, none of which was compensated. Compensation is presented as $10,000 for a first donation and $12,000 for a second. However, an important detail that was not clearly emphasized is that this income is taxable. After completing two donation cycles and four trips, my total compensation was $22,000 before taxes. I later owed approximately $5,000 in taxes—something I was not adequately prepared for or advised on. This significantly reduced the net compensation and changed my overall perspective on the experience. When I reached out to the company to express my concerns about this, I was told there was nothing they could do. In total, this process required a substantial commitment over the course of about a year, both physically and emotionally. While I sincerely hope my donations helped create a healthy family, the overall experience did not feel proportionate to the compensation or level of support provided. I share this not to discourage others entirely, but to ensure that anyone considering egg donation has a clear and realistic understanding of what the process involves—especially in terms of time, coordination, physical impact, and financial responsibilities.…
I have been working with Growing Generations since last year and just wanted to say how amazing everyone has been. My surrogate specialist Amy has been so wonderful to work with. I am mid-process with Growing Generations as a surrogate. Yes the process is lengthy but that is part of what makes it very secure! What I was most surprised about was how many wonderful, experienced people are a part of the process--particularly previous surrogates! I have learned a lot from them. I was always a bit nervous changing from the contacts who interviewed me, to my intake specialist and now my case specialist. But each transition has led to me talking with another wonderful person who answers my questions and concerns with the same, if not more, gravity! I really appreciated my intake specialist Serenity, who was patient when I was overly excited and strived to get to know me better right out of the gate. What could I possibly say about the whole reason I fell in love with GG in the first place.. this might sound dramatic, but my admissions specialist, Serenity, is absolutely to blame for this. Being through MULTIPLE surrogacy journeys herself, she was able to answer every question I could possibly come up with. She listened to (and eased) all of my concerns and questions so quickly, and not only when it came to surrogacy itself, Growing Generations as a company, and the compensation plan, but also with regards to her own experiences as a surrogate and more on what to expect from that side of the process. My journey with growing generations has been absolutely AMAZING. after a little chaotic beginning (nothing on GG part) Serenity got in touch with me and got me started on my journey and was so fast and on top of everything. I carried as a surrogate through GG and as much as they told me I’ve made dreams come true, they did that and so much more for me. When I knew for sure that surrogacy was something that I wanted to pursue, I spoke with and interviewed several agencies before choosing growing generations. I carried as a surrogate for this wonderful agency. The staff here is so amazing, they really take care of their surrogates and intended parents. I had the smoothest, most comforting admissions process. Kelly, who "held my hand" through the entire process gave me so much peace of mind as a potential surrogate. I am so happy that I am using GG as my agency to become a gestational surrogate. I applied Nov. 2021 and had lots of matches. With my non-traditional woman's job comes some speed bumps that we had to maneuver. GG never gave up on me, Becki was my guiding light through this journey. Currently in the Surrogacy process (as a surrogate) with Growing Generations. As of this point, I have had nothing but positive interactions with members of the Growing Generations team. I have been working with GG now since June 2022 when I first decided to become a surrogate. From the very beginning I have experienced nothing but kindness, support, and genuine people. I have been working as a donor with GG for exactly 35 days now. And in 35 days alone, I cannot say enough about the high level of professionalism, genuine care and attentiveness I have received. After making the decision to become an egg donor, I spoke with a few other agencies and I did not feel like I was seen or individually attended to - it felt very "run of the mill". I'm a 3 time surrogate. I have worked with different agency's, however Growing Generations is by far the best agency I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Before I had started my surrogate Journey I had did research on a couple different agencies, and from just what I read and talking with one of the staff members from GG I decided to go with GG as my surrogate agency. This is my first time being an egg donor and Growing Generations could not have been more helpful and easy to work with. Amy was constantly in contact with me and answered all of my questions within a day so I always felt involved and that they really cared about their donors. they have made all of the information readily available as well as a smooth process for those out of state that still want to make a difference. I have debated becoming an egg donor for a while now. After quite a lot of extensive research I have decided to go with Growing Generations due to other positive reviews, the intricate application process, and the professionalism of the staff. They encourage potential donors to not hesitate when it comes to going to them with questions and concerns which I love. This is my first time donating an egg and I really can't say enough positive things about Growing Generations. When I decided to do this, I did a lot of research on different fertility groups/centers and decided on Growing Generations after just my first phone interview due to their immaculate professionalism, patience and intensive review process. The staff are incredibly helpful, well informed, and always available to answer questions. The application process was very thorough and did take a while to complete but given the subject matter I think that's a good thing. If I were an intended parent instead of an egg donor I would feel much better knowing that Growing Generations had done thorough research on their egg donors/surrogates. The subsequent blood work, saliva analysis, etc. was also made easy and convenient and was performed with the utmost professionalism. I haven't actually donated yet but have every reason to believe that process will go smoothly as well. In my application I was completely honest and told them i smoked a couple of times over a year ago..i do not smoke now...i was accepted and had my phone consult with Kelly. Then Anna sent me all the paper work to sign. My husband and I signed and sent in our ID's and social security cards and medical records...right after we sent our personal information i get an email from Anna saying i cant procced and that they relooked over my application again and the team decided i cant be a surrogate because i have to quit for 3 years...they never made that clear, they told me it was a urine test for nicotine or any drugs. They told me it was fine and now they have all my information...i should have never been accepted in the first place if smoking was the reason they are declining me now...plus they do not answer or call when they tell you they will, i wait around by my phone the day i should expect a call then 3 days later when im out with my family they call...also i told them my period cycle was 60 days, i asked if that would be an issue and they told me that its perfectly fine that there would be no problems..i went to my OBGYN two days ago and she told me to do research becuase the agency should be telling me about "ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome"...when i researched more on ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome that day i discovered that my cycle cuases me to be at higher risk if not certain to get it...they never mentioned any risks like that so do your research…
It is easy to drop the ball during the application and profile completion process, but staff have gently encouraged and guided me along, with the help of other consultants that handle initial genetics and fertility testing (who are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have) to get my profile posted. I was shifted around a bit with the GG representatives at first, but my current rep has been great. I haven't actually been matched or donated yet but will update my review when I do. That's the most important part of the process to have support! From what I can tell, the company offers amazing benefits for you (and a companion during donation time) for a comfortable process.…

I recently had to relocate so I could proceed with the surrogacy process and Carrie from Growing Generations has helped me every step of the way. She is absolutely amazing!! I would give a higher rating, however, my reason for giving a low rating would be because I had thought it would be so great to be an egg donor but was denied. I personally know how devastating it is to try and start a family. I've had my own fair share of difficult struggles but have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. I am young, healthy and while I may have had struggles my fertility is perfect. I know for a fact that my eggs are healthy. I know this because I have tried IVF. It was an interesting experience as I got to learn so much about myself that I didn't know was possible and found that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ovaries and they are perfectly healthy. Why bother having an online application if you can't even personally get to know the people that wish to donate? I wanted to give something to help those who are struggling because I can relate and I wish to help. But to receive a short message that doesn't give a clear message is pretty disappointing.…

While researching agencies, Growing Generations was the third agency I came across. After filling out the online application, I had a phone consult with Lisa, the Admissions Specialist. She answered all of my questions, and ensured I understood every part of the surrogate process, which made me feel even more sure about my decision to become a surrogate. I am a second time Surrogate. My first journey was with Growing Generations. I LOVED everything about the company and had a fantastic journey. **Update** Well, my first surrogacy journey with Growing Generations went so well I am now on my 2nd, a sibling journey. This was my first personal experience with surrogacy and Growing Generations made it a very pleasant experience. From beginning to end everyone there has been very supportive and readily available. There is maximum communication from everyone involved, so there are no questions that went unanswered. The interview process was very well conducted; the medical team was very prompt with directives for moving forward; the GG staff were all very supportive mentally/emotionally to make sure everything was going well and help was there if needed. The financial department was very prompt with expenses accrued along the way. Case managers were very involved checking to see if anything was needed, as well as loving to hear updates as to how things were going. I am a first time surrogate through Growing Generations. I just delivered twin girls 6 days ago. It has been an incredible journey. The agency paired me with the most amazing parents and they have just been absolutely wonderful and supportive throughout this whole process. They have even visited for ultrasounds and more. This is my first time being a surrogate. It was a wonderful experience. The company was great to work with and really cared about how I was doing throughout the entire journey. The intended parents were amazing and we kept in touch with them the whole time. The mother even came to my hometown for the last month of the pregnancy. I'm glad I was able to give them the gift of twin boys. My husband and I are even considering doing this again, but the next time we are going to request only a singleton. I just recently finished my first surrogacy journey with Growing Generations. I had the most amazing experience. Jessica Juyent is an awesome case manager as well as Nicole Cattran as a financial coordinator. They both go above and beyond for their clients. Each of them are quick to respond if you have any questions. Jessica calls to check on you just to make sure you are doing okay or to find out if there is anything she can do to make your journey better. She contacted me the day before I was supposed to deliver just to wish us luck and tell me how excited she was, that was an awesome feeling! Just to know she thought about me and cares enough to reach out to me to let me know. They’re optional but each one is different as the topics we choose from as a group. (If we wanted more guidance on the financials, postpartum, experiences pros and cons). I was with growing generations for my first journey. I applied and was matched without meeting. I received a profile and was asked if I would match. I did. I never heard from my coordinator. I was with HRC Pasadena and then my OB. I got the PBO by mail and signed/mailed it back. No communication at labor or after delivery. I would not recommend. Them if you are not a prior surrogate. I felt lost.
I was going to go with GG but was weary about the all inclusive comp as well as the coordinator kept calling my husband by a different name so I really just felt like another number…. I had my first journey with Hatch and will not do another journey with them. Or recommend them.

Hi! I just gave birth to my sorrow baby in November 2025 and I was with growing generations. They were great very friendly staff I matched fairly quickly. The process was very quick. I got paid on time my coordinator handled all my appointments was very on top of everything else going on and I would say that I had a pretty good experience and I’m considering going back for another journey soon. 
I recently worked with Growing Generations after trying to work with another top 10 agency. The other agency made me feel like I had to do so much work and coordination- even though they charge like 70k as an agency fee I was calling the clinic to make payments, buying vitamins for my GC online, helping my GC schedule appointments. With Growing Generations I didn’t have to do anything. It was amazing. Highly recommend.
I just finished with Growing Generations and previously worked with a top 8 agency and it was night and day. Growing Generations is incredible, everything was taken care of and there was no stress or work put on me. Our entire journey was done in about a year total from signing with them to birth.
I just used growing generations. It was expensive but the entire journey was done in 1 year. I signed with them in june, my twins were born 2 weeks ago. Love them so much, highly highly recommend!

I just gave birth to my surrogate baby in November. I was with Growing Generations. I never had any issues with them. They handled everything. They were very communicative about the whole process always there for me if I needed help. I’m considering another journey and will most likely go with them again
I was with growing generations with my first set of IP. 1. They are slow with everything. 2. They don't advocate for you 3. They won't have your back for issues.
