I began this journey not long ago. I started by submitting a pre-qualification application that led to an agent calling me the very next day. Shawn was extremely informative and supportive of my interest in going on this journey, answering all of my questions and then some! She even offered to do a second onboarding call with my husband (my #1 supporter) by my side so that he could learn more about the process as well. Shawn was so kind and extremely responsive when I had a question come up or wanted to talk through some of the agreements. She then guided me seemlessly through the interviewing journey to match me with wonderful Intended Parents. Finally, I was graduated to my case manager, Cheri who is also wonderful! I’m currently starting my second journey with LAS. When I went through the process the first time, it took awhile to find IPs that matched what I was looking for. Other than that, the first journey was smooth. Words can’t describe the feeling you get for witnessing a parent meet their newborn baby for the first time❤️. It’s a beautiful feeling knowing you were able to help complete their family and begin a new chapter in their lives. Fast forward to today, my second journey is off to an amazing start! My match specialist Arthur, understood my concerns and requirements for any IPs I’d possibly match with. Not only was he able to match me quickly but also effectively! Arthur loves what he does and it definitely shows with his great attitude. He didn’t care what time of day it was or if it was a weekend. Answering questions or concerns was his top priority. I strongly advise staying away from this agency. My first surrogacy experience turned into a nightmare due to poor communication, lack of planning, and mishandling of legal and logistical matters. I had no contact with the surrogate or updates throughout the pregnancy, and was only informed of the delivery last minute. Legal paperwork, including the Power of Attorney, was mishandled, causing my baby to be stuck in the hospital for two weeks. The agency became unresponsive after payment and deflected responsibility, even when hospital staff expressed confusion over the lack of coordination. The emotional toll was immense, and Child Protective Services had to intervene to facilitate discharge. I urge future intended parents to seek an agency with clear communication, proper preparation, and consistent support. Based on my experience, avoid this one.…

I had a very horrible experience with them. When problems arise, they immediately deny involvement, push responsibility to the other party that manages my the Intended Parent, and tell you to “go ask them instead and we are not involved” What follows is endless finger-pointing between companies, with no one taking accountability and no one willing to actually help. As an intended parent, when I faced serious issues during the surrogacy process, I had no one to raise my concerns to. When I confronted them with this, instead of addressing the issue professionally, they became hostile, blocked me, and threatened legal action, claiming I was not allowed to speak about my experience due to a contract clause. This behavior alone says everything about how they operate. What makes this even worse is the bullying and discriminatory attitude. If you are Chinese and do not speak fluent English, they treat you as if you know nothing and can be pushed around. I am a living example of how badly they treat clients they believe won’t fight back. Their tone is dismissive, aggressive, and intimidating, and they show zero respect or empathy for intended parents going through an already emotionally exhausting process. I WANT YOU GUYS TO BE AWARE THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EXPRESS YOUR NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE EVEN U HAVE EXPERIENCED A VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE FROM THEM. From the very beginning of IVF all the way to delivery, this journey was extremely unpleasant, stressful, and traumatic, largely due to their behavior, attitude, and refusal to take responsibility. I recommend looking elsewhere. Once you let them know you’re interested and later change your mind and go with a different company they will spam your emails with reminders on signing a comp package, will acknowledge your email asking for it to stop but will just keep sending them. So happy I kept looking around for a company that fit me better just based off their lack of care in this matter.

I have been on my journey to become a gestational surrogate for about a year, not including the fact that I was definitely considering doing so in the past. I was previously working with a different California based agency. My sister was a gestational carrier for this agency, and she had referred me to them. I ran into a lot of issues with that agency not being communicative, not responding in a timely manner, and just leaving me on read until they needed something from me. I had a very positive experience as a first time surrogate with LAS. Most notably, I had an extremely supportive case manager, Jamie, who stayed with me over the phone while I was having contractions. I just recently went through a surrogacy with Los Angeles Surrogacy and wanted to leave a review for any other women considering this journey. I started the process of applying and interviewing around September of 2023 and just finished January 2025. In the beginning it can be a little overwhelming but you will be assigned a case manager who will guide you through. Don’t be afraid to ask A LOT of questions. Through my journey I had my case manager change a couple of times and while not all of them were as helpful as I’d of liked I’d want to specifically give a special thanks to Stephanie and Korey. These two wonderful women went above and beyond for me to the point of sitting on hold for almost an hour to clear up any hiccups with insurance (which we know happens all the time because insurance is fun like that) and just providing positive support on the rough days. Pregnancy is a hard journey and surrogacy is a whole other ballgame, but having support like they have made all the difference. All in all it was quite the experience but it was very much worth it. Compensation was great but was just a fraction of the reason. Seeing the joy you just brought to a family and the thanks they gave was so fulfilling and is something I’ll be carrying with me for a long long time.…

I’m sad to write this review. But I am writing it so other potential surrogates could be aware before going through with anything. The beginning was amazing, they seemed like they would take care of me and everything. 1) the doctor they use for the process isn’t very caring. The staff was RUDE on the phone and in person. I could go on about the incidents I had with them. One being them being insensitive to my breast problems. Two, I was having bad experience with the shots to the point where I had balls all over my buttocks and they pretty much said suck it up. 2.) I was left with debt and put in to debt collection due to their lack of paying bills. They kept asking me to send it to them, call insurance and a bunch of run arounds the thing is they didn’t get paid and 2 years later I am left with letters from debt collectors. 3.) My case manager I had assigned to me wouldn’t get back to me regarding my payments that I wasn’t receiving, I was owed 3 months backpay once I finally got a hold of someone they told me she quit and I had no idea about it. Meanwhile I was messaging her all my concerns and she didn’t respond. I plan to be a surrogate once again but I definitely won’t be using this agency.…

I do not recommend this place, go here at your own risk and remember that this is just business so look for a place that pays more!!! All I can say is I expected more. I should have probably went with another surrogacy but oh well, at the beginning it was nice I had Kelly she is really awesome she’s like a bestfriend and if she didn’t know an answer she ask the right person and get back to me right away she was great but she’s just the person you get before you are matched up. Then I got Kim afterwards she was great as well I really liked her she was like a mom to me and I could reach out to her at any time of the day. But I had complications with the company and the way they did things I was told I wasn’t supposed to use my insurance at all and I ended up having to do so and also find my own doctors when we had a fertility clinic that I should have been sent to instead, over all I’m glad my contract is almost ending :) it wasn’t a great experience I had a molar pregnancy and needed to do the vacuum procedure twice because the Beverly Hills clinic didn’t do it like they said they would ! I could potentially have an infection so Be careful with these shady people !!!!…

GC is in the process of medical clearance with my clinic, so still early stages. So far communication has been great and they have been quick to respond to my clinic and to me. This will be the GC’s second surrogacy with them. Guessing she had a great experience to use them a second time.
my gc has alot of bills that they havent paid and i paid everything to them from my part till this day after 2 months of having our baby they haven’t contacted me and they didnt give my gc the proper emotional support like they post on their social media
I’ve had two great experiences with this agency. My coordinators have both been amazing and payments on time. We encountered a huge problem with one of my IPs and the owner made it a point to call me to address the issue which i thought was huge on their part it shows they really care.
I’ll post this anonymously because if you say anything even slightly negative about this agency, their employees will literally call you. They don’t seem to take feedback very well. That said, I’ll give credit where it’s due they’ve always paid me on time, and overall they’re a pretty chill agency. I absolutely love my IPs, and that’s been the best part of my journey. They also seem to have employees in just about every surrogacy group I’m in, so if you make even the slightest comment they don’t like, you’ll probably hear from them pretty quickly.…
I used them for my first journey back in 2023. My medical were never paid on time to the point of where I was about to go to collections. I had let them know and they said they would pay it but would go months without paying the bills. The communication was awful!!! I do not recommend them at all
I stopped receiving responses from one of their coordinators (that I met through another coordinator). I was reaching out asking for updates regarding my medical checks or if there was anything else she needed me to do. This individual was straight up ignoring me, did not let me know she had a concern regarding my background check herself, stopped responding to my emails & calls, etc. Was really disappointed because she came off really nice and attentive up until then. You really are just a number to them, be careful.…

I was a GC for them. I was matched in 17 days. They are not a very good company. Highly unethical. They treat their GCs poorly and the communication is terrible.
I was a G.C, n delivered baby in 2023 Feb, I had nothing but awful experience! The communication was AWFUL! Cindy was my match maker, she rushed everything so fast, she doesn’t communicate at all with you; Carrie was my case manager, she was a sweetheart, but I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!! My husband got into an altercation with the owner Geoff. I still have emails with him and how he treated us. THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH LA SURROGACY! Do your research for sure!
My first journey with them was pretty bad. It was like pulling teeth to get medical bills paid. My Ip made sure to always keep escrow account well funded. I got sent to collections and it took about a year for them to pay the bills. I also didn’t even have access to escrow. This was back in 2022-23. For my 2 recent journeys I’ve gone through a different agency. My base comp was also terrible. They didn’t explain to me that I could negotiate the price. My IP was very generous and covered in gifts to make up for the super low base compensation ( just want to say my Ip was absolutely amazing and I still get pictures of the baby)…

I started out working with them and honestly got icky vibes pretty quick. I agree with some of the things said above.. the coordinator I was working with told me several things that ended up changing the more I spoke to him. I felt that he was dishonest. I was uneducated and realized it really quickly. For my own sake, I started researching and joining fb groups like this. I also started talking to another agency just to compare… NIGHT AND DAY difference. I’m honestly so glad I went with the other agency. I will say this.. the were gracious at first when I said I’m sorry I’m going in a different direction. But then, that same coordinator I got icky vibes from has nonstop harassed me ever since. He sends me random texts and emails months after I’ve asked him to stop contacting me. He includes phrases like “love you girl” in his communications to which I don’t respond. I’ve seriously had to block emails and texts from his number because it was just way too much. Maybe other people have better experiences, that’s great. I’m just glad I listened to my gut and dodged that bullet.…
They are unethical. I called them to ask questions and not knowing better I applied the same day (GC) and my profile wasn’t even done yet and within a few days they sent me so many IP profiles. They asked me to schedule a zoom call with them all and I didn’t reply back the same day bc howwww was I being sent these profiles when I hadn’t even made my appt to be cleared by my own doctor yet. Within hours many if the IPs were already matched! The agency hadn’t even cleared me themselves… so how was I already being matched as well? they offered me more money bc of my weight, bc according to them, they have a lot of “bigger girls” apply as GCs and their IPs “prefer the smaller girls so they will pay you more”, and they did in fact offer me a lot more once they confirmed my weight by having me send them a picture of me on the scale. Two other girls who I personally know, were only allowed a certain comp (a lot lower) bc of their weight. From what I gathered (“interviewing” other GCs with them), I wouldn’t trust them… especially bc they allow anyone to just bc a GC and immediately start matching them without clearing them first…
I just finished up a journey with them. My personal opinion is that they aren’t very “surrogate” friendly. I had horrible IP’s and didn’t feel very protected at all.
I attempted to work with them, on multiple occasions they told me they’d check on things and get back to me. I last spoke with them on September when they told me they were still waiting for my medical records and nothing until February and then they told me they had a match for me. Zero communication in the middle of it. I was not a fan at all. I need communication. When I told her how I felt when she reached out it was blown off so I moved on.
