My experience with Newborn Advantage lasted a little under 3 years. During that time, I was matched with two sets of IPs. The first were unable to continue their journey, so I was rematched (very quickly - less than 2 weeks). Although the process didn’t go “as planned,” it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Mindy, Courtney, and Jemma were attentive, courteous, and always as accommodating as they could be. What sets this agency apart from others is the fact that you are directly communicating with the owners. You aren’t a faceless name. Being a surrogate was something I never thought I would do, but a close friend needed a surrogate and I enjoyed being pregnant so she ended up deciding on this surrogacy company and I cannot say how easy and comforting Mindy and Courtney were through this whole process. While it definitely took some time to get proper clearance from doctors and go through the IVF process, all of the doctors and personnel involved were so kind and thorough. This has been an amazing experience and i'm so happy to have been able to be apart of this journey to help grow life for a couple that have been trying for so long and could not themselves. I completed my first surrogacy journey March 29th, 2024. I gave my self some time to really reflect before writing my review, I can not thank Mindy & Courtney enough along with the NewBorn Advantage staff & Kindbody staff. As a first time surrogate I was nervous but determined to deliver a healthy baby. Over the 9 months I watched my body change but the support from NewBorn Advantage was always there for me every step of the way to answer any questions or explain something to me if I didn’t understand, checking in with me over the course of my pregnancy, and making sure I was mentally and physically okay even after delivery. I can confidently say they did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable, informed & educated through the entire process. They did a WONDERFUL job matching me with the IP’s I absolutely adored them and I’m so grateful our paths crossed and I had to opportunity to deliver their son. I cannot say enough good about Newborn Advantage! I'm an experienced surrogate but needed a new agency when my former agency shut down. I started with Mindy and have felt like she truly looked out for me every step of the way. I highly recommend Newborn Advantage to anyone out there interested in becoming a gestational carrier. I just completed my second successful journey and I have delivered 2 beautiful and perfect surrogate baby boys: on 1/31/17 and on 4/9/20. From my first call years ago when I spoke to Wendy (the surrogate advocate) I felt completely comfortable. She did not make promises, she was very clear on the process and the requirements, and she walked thru everything with me step-by-step and answered all of my questions. And that has never stopped to this day. She is an AMAZING soul who has been a surrogate herself so she understands what it takes and how it feels, and she gives THE best advice. She is always there for me, even if it's just to listen to me cry during a hormonal meltdown. Since I am a surrogate, the majority of my contact is usually with Wendy, but the contacts that I have had with Mindy and Courtney have always been wonderful as well. Mindy is always available to answer any questions or concerns I have when I call and if she does not hear from me for a while she always reaches out to checkin and offer support if needed. Courtney is also very accessible and is very efficient with booking travel, reimbursing expenses, and sending comp in a timely manner. Between these 3 ladies they know the process inside and out - from being matched, to medical clearance, to lawyers, to insurance options, to transfer, to delivery - all of it! They have amazing resources and a network of professionals that walk you thru every single step. All 3 of these ladies are wonderful and I'm very blessed to have found them. I am a first time gestational carrier who just delivered on March 20,2020. This entire journey was nothing short of amazing, from initially reaching out to inquire about the process of becoming a GC all the way to after delivery. Mindy, Wendy and Courtney were always courteous and willing to quickly answer any questions or concerns that I had along the way. Anytime travel arrangements were needed, they were always very prompt at making those, medical bills were always paid very quickly and comp payments were always on time or early. They would go above and beyond to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything at all throughout the entire pregnancy and even after I delivered. My wife and I have struggled with delivery and finally decided to look for surrogacy as a solution. We live in New York and decided and paid for a NJ based agency. This agency proved quite unhelpful and generally not very friendly. Last summer we tried to give it one last shot. Our doctor in NY, said that if we needed someone more hands on and with superb interpersonal skills that we choose Mindy Berkson. She had a number of a very viable GC candidates available immediately. Mindy has been a joy to work with and has proven time and time again that she is prepared to go above and beyond the basic service. Even after we were matched with a surrogate and paid her a fee, she has stayed engaged and been helpful with managing every aspect of what is a novel and daunting process for most. We completed a successful journey with Newborn Advantage Surrogacy (formerly Lotus Blossom Consulting). As an older male couple, time was crucial to us. Mindy located a clinic in our region which was enthusiastic about working with us. She polled her surrogates and determined a number were willing to consider us. As Mindy promised, as soon as our contract was finalized, she recommended a surrogate. Her choice was an appropriate match for us and the woman delivered our child one year and four months following our first meeting with Mindy. Since we were uncertain what type relationship we wanted with our surrogate, her match is all the more noteworthy. Communication was always prompt and candid. Mindy coordinated the purchase of health insurance and term life for our surrogate. She arranged the lawyers for the Gestational Agreement arrangement and Pre-Birth and Final Court Order for the birth certificate. Our surrogate chose a hospital which had no experience with gestational surrogacy. Mindy supplied us a sample surrogacy birth plan which we filled out and supplied the hospital. I asked our surrogate several times whether she was receiving adequate emotional support from Newborn. She replied she was. Mindy responded helpfully when we had concerns. On the financial side, disbursements for health insurance and the various milestone payments to our surrogate were made promptly from the escrow account. We received an accurate accounting of the escrow account each month. We did not use Mindy to find an egg donor, but she does offer this service. We recommend Mindy for her optimistic attitude, knowledge, contacts, and problem solving abilities.…
We would like to share with people are trying to be intended parents that the work that Newborn Advantage Surrogacy is really great. We are a couple of men from Spain who are really grateful of the work of Mindy Berkson and her team (Wendy and Courtney) have done with us. Our surrogacy process hasn't been easy (in fact we have found to be fathers of two babies, Lucia and Ray, after three years trying it and many troubles that we had before knowing Mindy) but with the support they gave us all this time everything was ahead in the right way. In our case the most important and difficult issue was to find a good surrogate mother and Mindy and her team are very profesional at this. In a short period of time they found for us a person very special who has given us two healthy and beautiful babies. In addition to how they have engaged our escrow account, we think an strong point of them is the recruiter of surrogates. All the time they are thinking which surrogate matchs better with you and they are working with empathy and sensitivity. During our process, we have had the sensation that people who work in Newborn Advantage Surrogacy are your friends and they want the best for you. For us has been also important that Mindy and her team never team have never left us helping us until last moment. Even in the last moment that we have needed to engage an express health insurance for our baby that after birth was in NICU, they have worked at 200% with the health insurance of the boy. Mindy Berkson is a caring professional and she makes sure that both the intended parent(s) and the surrogate are comfortable and happy. Her network of industry providers (lawyers, doctors, insurance experts etc.) is also top notch. I highly recommend.

I’ve taken four very special journeys with Newborn Advantage Surrogacy. Every journey has been amazing! Thank you Mindy & Wendy for making our experiences as special as you are.
We first met Mindy about 3 months ago after surviving two disappointments with a surrogacy agency over the course of 18 months. The agency, who shall remain nameless, provided only two surrogate profiles during this 18 month period, both of which were not qualified candidates. We have to admit that we were skeptical about using Mindy because she shared with us that her match time was about 2 weeks. Needless to say 2 days after engaging Lotus Blossom, We had a fabulous match with a wonderful surrogate who passed her medical clearance with flying colors. We now understand first hand why this fire ball of a woman does what she does. Mindy works quickly, efficiently and she is exceptionally responsive to phone calls and emails. She is professional, organized, compassionate and truthful. It is now three months from the time we selected a surrogate and we already have our embryo transfer date scheduled.
