Terrible communication, like talking to a robot at all times. Very slow. Basic comprehension is never there. Twisted financial aspects multiple times in multiple ways. Went elsewhere after a year of the problems they created, and immediately had a perfect & quick experience elsewhere.

We were so lucky to have found Physician's Surrogacy. Their matching process was fast, they also have very transparent and fair costs, but what I appreciated most was having access to talk to a doctor during the pregnancy. If you are looking into surrogacy, you won't regret working with them. We are already planning a second surrogacy next year.

I just finished my first journey with Physician Surrogacy, and my experience so far has been fantastic. Special thanks to my case manager, Theresa, for her neverending support throughout the process, and especially getting ready for transfer. My intended parents are a perfect match for me - they live a little more than two hours away and have been really involved, which is exactly what I wanted. I had a scheduled c section so it made delivery a little less stressful and my intended parents were beyond incredible and even arranged a meal service for 2 weeks after delivery to make it easier for me to rest. I highly do NOT recommend this agency. Especially if you are an intended parent looking for a surrogate. I called and reported a surrogate of theirs MULTIPLE times for drinking and fighting while pregnant and they did NOTHING. She still got fully compensated and still eligible for another journey. This is not fair for the people struggling to convince and it is not cheap either. For the sake of your child please choose another agency that monitors their surrogates.
Physician’s surrogacy is by far the BEST agency for surrogacy in my opinion. I tried with another agency and they were not as supportive or thorough & it took over a year waiting to be matched with intended parents. From day 1 everyone is so nice and always ready and willing to help. They make sure you understand everything that’s going on, how the process will be step by step, & reassures any concerns you may have. I am very glad I chose Physician’s Surrogacy!!
I did alot of research into surrogacy before making a choice on who to work with, I read all kinds of bad things about Physicians Surrogacy but after talking to Lyddie I knew that it was who I wanted to work with, she was so helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Unfortunately once my medical records were reviewed I was unable to continue due my past preterm birth but they stood by their word of paying for my lab bill and sending me a gift card! If you are okay with an "all inclusive" package I would definitely recommend looking into them, the process runs quickly!…
This agency feels very scam like. I dealt with poor communication throughout my process. I literally got to the end of medical clearance and was then told I was no longer a candidate for surrogacy after a 2nd failed mock cycle. I was not notified of this prior and I was led to believe they’d try different options until I passed as I’d been completing every other step (vaccines, ultrasounds, removing my iud, psychological assessment etc.) required flawlessly. I wasted time with this agency for SEVEN months. All to be told on the FINAL step, I didn’t qualify. They even paid me each bonus for completing the other steps. I understand there is a process each surrogate must go through to ensure safety & a successful embryo transfer. However, clearer, consistent communication throughout would have been the most professional way to handle this. I really feel as if I wasted my time and was not given a fair chance after being pursued by the agency first! (They were not my first & only option).…

In 2022 began the process to be a first time surrogate with Physicians Surrogacy. My overall experience was average, but I also have no other experience to compare it to. The staff were very kind and informed me of every step along my journey. I gave birth to a health baby in 2023. Due to the pregnancy I developed fibroids in my uterus. I was never informed that I was at a higher Rick of developing fibroids after a surrogacy pregnancy. I decided to attempt to be a surrogate again as it brought me so much joy to see how happy the mother was during the birth. I had several failed attempts and when I did have a successful IVF transfer I unfortunately had a miscarriage at 7 weeks . My caseworker hardly reached out to me. I had to constantly text her to get answers on the next steps. After my last failed transfer I was completely disregarded and all communication ended and they wouldn’t return my calls and texts. Instead I would constantly get messages to send referrals links to friends and family. It seems like they are more concerned about making as much of a profit as they can and non stop recruiting surrogates. Years later I am not having complications due to the fibroids and will not be my expense. A complete burden that I did not sign up for nor was I fully informed of the possible health risks. I would be very careful if you decide to sign up with them.…

They owe me money. They will string you along and blow up your phone to get testing and interviews done. I completed multiple interviews and blood works and after my IUD was removed they still had failed to compensate me, I chose to stop and not continue. If they are trying to avoid paying this early on I’m positive it will get substantially worse. WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY REFUSE TO PAY! I’m out for gas and work missed to do all their testing

My very short experience with Ella was a bad one. I was in constant contact with her, sending her everything that was needed, got my weight down after having to reach out to her after not hearing from her. Still haven't heard anything from her since November. Such a waste of time, definitely changed my perspective on trying to become a surrogate.

My partner and I went through years of infertility struggles, which led us to interview over a dozen surrogacy agencies before deciding to move forward with Physician's Surrogacy. From the beginning, we were impressed with Kelsi Davis, who has been exceptional throughout this entire journey. As a former intended parent herself, Kelsi truly understands the emotional and financial complexities of infertility and surrogacy. She is incredibly passionate about her work, which really shows in how she treats her clients. One of the most appealing aspects of Physician’s is their relatively short wait time for matching with a surrogate. Initially, we were skeptical when they told us the wait would be only a couple of weeks, especially since we had been quoted wait times of 13-15 months by larger agencies like Circle Surrogacy. However, to our surprise, it only took two weeks for us to match with our first surrogate! This was a huge relief, especially considering that other agencies required substantial upfront payments (Circle Surrogacy wanted $52,000 before even matching us with a surrogate). Physician’s, on the other hand, does not charge any fees until a match is made, which feels much more fair and transparent. Having the ability to match quickly is crucial. Surrogacy journeys can be unpredictable, and things can go wrong. For example, our first surrogate had to drop out for medical reasons, but Physician’s was able to match us with a new surrogate in just two weeks. The agency stays in close contact with weekly updates about new surrogates, so it’s clear they handle a high volume of cases and have a strong network of qualified carriers. In fact, our positive experience with Physician’s was so good that we decided to pursue a sibling journey at the same time as our primary journey. We expressed our interest in a sibling journey to Kelsi, and within a few days, we were matched with our second surrogate. This quick turnaround time, combined with excellent communication throughout the entire process, has made our experience with Physician’s truly outstanding. Even after paying for the journey in full, we continue to receive regular email updates from our case manager. Any questions we have are answered quickly—sometimes within minutes. What also sets Physician’s apart is the quality of their gestational carriers (GCs). They are highly selective, accepting only 5-7% of the applicants who apply. Surrogates at Physician’s set their own fees, which means some experienced carriers may charge upwards of $100,000. While this is higher than the rates offered by other agencies, we believe it’s worth the investment. The higher pay attracts top-tier surrogates, and the agency can afford to be more selective in choosing the best candidates. Another advantage is that Physician’s operates their own in-house IVF clinic, which many surrogates prefer to use for their embryo transfers. We decided to have our embryos transferred there for peace of mind, knowing our surrogates would receive excellent care. This level of quality and care made a big difference to us and our surrogates. It’s important to note that Physician’s isn’t the cheapest option out there. Some smaller agencies offer lower rates, but their pricing structures are often a la carte, which can result in surprise fees down the road. Additionally, smaller agencies may not have the same resources or staff to recruit high-quality surrogates, which could result in longer wait times or fewer options. Unlike some agencies, Physician’s does not require medical or psychological documentation from the intended parents, which streamlined the process for us. Other agencies, like Circle Surrogacy, require proof of medical or psychological need, which we found unnecessary and burdensome. All in all, we’ve had an incredible experience with Physician’s Surrogacy, and we couldn’t be happier with the service, support, and care we’ve received. If you’re an intended parent searching for a reliable and professional agency, I highly recommend giving them a chance.…

When I first started my journey in June of 2024 I had a lot of concerns as I had read extensively into picking “the best agency” I had expressed those concerns to the agency and over the last year Physician's Surrogacy has shown me nothing but hospitality and a deep sense of care and concern in all areas of my life including motherhood and of course my journey as a first time Gestational Carrier! They took my concerns directly under their wing and provided immense support. I was welcomed in with open arms, connecting with other surrogates along the way and being invited in exclusive areas by working deeper in with the intake team to help support other surrogates in the same shoes I was in when I first started my journey. While of course there are always small hiccups here and there, Physician's Surrogacy takes pride in addressing those faults and go to deep lengths to help their Surrogates feel supported and cared for so we can have a successful journey! They do a wonderful job in finding the middle ground when it comes to negotiating terms between us Surrogates and our Intended Parents so there’s a happy medium between everyone. Since establishing my ever-growing relationship with the agency I have directly seen many sides and angles between the agency, us Surrogates and the Intended Parents perspective. I’m currently a surrogate and I would like to be honest about this company. I wouldn't say it has been horrible but I would definitely keep in mind before signing up with them that they don’t pay on time. I asked before signing my contract if I could be paid on the 15th of every month they said yes, but after signing I was told payments would be available in my account every 25th of the month which hasn’t been consistent either which is very annoying especially while carrying a child & having tons of other responsibilities to take care of during this time. Also, the case worker will text you every Monday which can get annoying especially when doctors appointments aren’t the topic of discussion. I feel like I should only be contacted if something is wrong or if I’m attending an appointment for the baby. For those reasons I will not be going through this company again. If you want to carry a baby & not be paid on time sign up with this company they will definitely give you the run around.…

10/17/2024 I have been a gestational surrogate 3 times, two of which were with Physician's Surrogacy. My first journey was with a different agency and they were ok. I knew after my first journey that I wanted to do another one but that I wanted to shop around for another agency. Physician's was just what I was looking for and more! I completed two surrogacies with them, the last I completed in April of 2024. I felt supported every step of the way, starting with the intake all the way through postpartum care. They have staff devoted to each process so I never had to worry about working with someone who was trying to do everything. Being a gestational surrogate takes a lot of time and effort plus you need to be organized. P.S. made my experience feel almost effortless. I really like how they took care of all of my medical bills so I never had to worry about if they would get paid or not. I did have to make sure to send them most of the bills but that was really easy and they were usually paid the same day and in some cases, paid before the appointment even occurred. Shout out to America! Intake did a wonderful job of keeping me updated and made sure I was matched with a family that I really clicked with. I was given options and was able to do Zoom calls with several families before making my decision. They never tried to pressure me to match with a family just to get on with it. They also allowed me to use my lawyer of choice even though they have lawyers that they work with regularly. My support person during my most recent journey felt like she became a friend. Erika was not just nice but also funny and truly caring. I really appreciated her support when we had a very serious delay in my journey. She continued to check in with me regularly up until I was 3 months postpartum. I know she had other surrogates that she was helping at the same time as me but I never felt like I was just a task to check off her to-do list. I also appreciated that if I had questions about the IVF procedure/protocol or the embryos we were working with, I could actually talk to the doctors on staff at their IVF clinic, RSMC. They were very responsive and I never felt like I was being talked down to. All in all, they are just a wonderful company and they are always doing new things to make the experience better for families and the gestational surrogates. I know that the family I was matched with for my last journey also really enjoyed the experience.…

The IVF process through RSMC Fertility Clinic was equally impressive. The clinic was organized, and I received clear instructions at every stage. My IVF coordinator was always timely and supportive, and the doctors and nurse practitioners were extremely knowledgeable, explaining everything to me in detail. My experience with Physician’s Surrogacy wasn't to good in the beginning if I'm being honest. The IP's and I had a few bumps in the road. I can say that I did stick it out and as I did my case managers made the rest of my experience a smooth one as well as the IP's. They were by my side every step of the way and more than generous and a helping hand. I am coming to the end of my first journey but it has been great and I cannot wait for the IP's to meet their little one.

I am so extremely disappointed in this agency. I am a 2 time gestational surrogate. I had my first surrogate baby Oct. 2020 and my second April 2022. My first journey was absolutely amazing my case manager was so helpful and supportive throughout my journey and after. So I decided to become a surrogate a second time. My second case manager was rude and unsupportive with my concerns as they arose. I threw my back out during my 2nd trimester and it was never full healed so threw it out a few more time after well into the end of my pregnancy. I reached out to my case manager regarding my constant back pain. Nothing was to be done until after I had the baby. A couple weeks before I had the baby I got a referral to see a physical therapist. I had my first appointment in the physical therapist office last week. He said he would like to see me few more times. I just received a text from my case manager letting me know that the agency will no longer cover my appointments and I need to talk to my personal insurance and ask them to pay. Even though the pain started with the surrogacy but was inaccurately documented. Which I told them and they ignored it. Then they tried to intimidate me using my own lawyer. I do recommend going through this company if you are considering becoming a surrogate. They only decided to change the decision to cover costs of physical therapy because they made a mistake and I made a review about it bringing it to light so others do not gave to go through this pain I have delt with without any support from this company.…

I am almost 6 weeks postpartum and feeling back to normal. Being a surrogate was challenging yet rewarding. I felt like one small thing I could do that would make a difference in making a family complete. Even if it wasn’t the traditional way. It was emotional in the beginning having my dad pass away from COVID on the 20th then having the first heartbeat confirmation ultrasound on the 26th then having Natalie’s birthday on the 28th. This journey went by light speed. Baby girl was good to me- making the experience run by smoothly. My close friends and family were there to spoil me through the journey. My case manager, Claire would send me text messages for check ins and anything I needed. Due to hospital rules and regulations as well as COVID I was able to have my sister by my side as the support person during delivery. Finished my first journey with physicians surrogacy and it was an amazing experience! From the beginning the staff was super supportive. When I was in the application phase I had so many questions and all of them were answered and there was never any pressure to become a surrogate with the company. After applying, the team was always communicating me with where I was at within my journey. After getting matched with a family they were constantly updating me on what was to be experienced next and always asked if I had any questions or concerns at each milestone. I just finished my first journey as a gestational carrier for this company. Through the process everyone was so helpful and on top of things. When I got pregnant they made sure to check in on a regular basis every couple days. Was matched with wonderful IPS. However as soon as I had the babies everything went silent within a week. I've reached out not only to my case manager multiple times but also the accounting department and havent heard back at all. Zilch. It's as if I never existed.

As a first time Surrogate I chose Physicians Surrogacy to begin my journey for another family, it’s been something I’d always wanted to do. Things were amazing in the beginning and the people who supported me at this agency were so wonderful! However I thought it was a little strange they all disappeared once my journey came to an end. Months after delivery I got phone calls and a huge hospital bill, it’s been so stressful dealing with this type of insurance and medical bills that were not paid. My Surrogate case Manager Ivory Wilson has been nothing but the best & so diligent when dealing with these issues! However I think there is a HUGE opportunity here, and I only wish these bills had been paid from the time they were billed, not three, six or seven months later still unpaid. On the bright side, I would highly recommend this agency to anybody interested in surrogacy because of the wonderful people who take care of you throughout your journey. Also be cautious of fake reviews, and reviews they delete.

The insurance was hard to understand at first but after everything was set, I had no problems. They are very caring and professional. The clinic was clean and filled with wonderful staff. I loved working with this company. Everything went so smoothly. They were even understanding when I needed to move dates around for a trip I was taking. My medications were clearly outlined for me and even if I asked the same question multiple times Korrine patiently answered them again and again. Yoko was amazing. She was always there for any questions I had and would get back to me in a timely manner. She always had information I needed and kept in touch with me weekly throughout my journey. When I got pregnant it was still okay but when It started to get closer to me delivering things slowly changed. I had an amazing experience with Physician's Surrogacy! I just finished my 1st journey with them, and the staff has been there for me the whole time. From my first tentative questions all the way through the delivery. Yoko, my support manager, was awesome! She checked in with me at least weekly. Just to make sure I was alright and to see if I needed anything. I just delivered, and it filled me with such a sense of pride that I was able to help a couple start their family. I started my first surrogacy journey in January 2016 and delivered December 2016 I had a really good experience with physician surrogacy and Dr.Woods was excellent, everything went smooth on my first journey and I decided to do another one. I had my transfer June 2017 and delivered March 3rd again I had a really good experience they didn't leave me with any medical bills and my support manager April was the best checking in on me every week even after delivery. This agency was the best for being my first time being a surrogate. I was matched within 2 weeks of passing my medical & background. After signing the contract I was ready to get pregnet in 2 months. Dr. Wood was my doctor for the transfer & he got it on the first try. Dr. Wood very professional & very positive on getting you pregnet on the first try, he is the best. Shannon helped me on my medication & was on top of it to make sure I had all my medicine which made it easy to take. Sharon Canlas was my supporter/case manager. This girl is the best I would call her after hours late & she would answer me. I would call her early morning she would answer me. All texts messages as well she would answer me. She is very helpful on anything I needed & she listens & understands your concerns. Molly Shen was my traslater since my I.P.'s were chinese & mother spoke very little english. Molly was helpful on my big questions I had for the I.P.'s. I delivered on Feb. 23 2018 a heathly baby boy. I was very blessed on my I.P.'s they spolied me very much. Mother bought my daughter gifts & me as well. At the hospital she brought me chocolates & fruit. I stayed 24 hours & my I.P. was bringing me outside food to eat since the hospital food was disgusting. I was allowed to take pictures with the baby & I got to hold the baby as well. Even after I left I went to say my good byes to the I.P.'s & see the baby for the last time. I got 2 visits from my friends & my children & they all got to go see the baby. This place has the top notch doctors , Dr. Wood is the top notch for IVF and is excellent. Sharon Canlas was my case manager. She was super sweet and on top of her game. I just delivered a baby as a surrogate through this agency. It was an amazing experience. I was matched with the nicest couple. My case manager Sharon was professional and helpful and Ian was also very helpful. I would recommend this agency for anyone who is thinking about surrogacy, it's a beautiful thing to do to help a family.
I would think twice before signing with Physician's Surrogacy. During the contract stage and even during your entire pregnancy they are very attentive, check in every week and even give you gifts but as soon as you deliver they do a complete 360. I delivered in August 2017 and two months later I have yet to receive final payment and my hospital bills have not been paid. I have emailed weekly since week of delivery to see when these bills are going to be paid and I see no action or promptness on their end, not to mention they are now in breech of contract. My contract clearly states hospital bills would be paid within 30 days after delivery and final payment would be made 14 days after delivery, both have not been done. If I could go back I would have not picked this agency. I have tried numerous times contacting the agency as well as the owner herself about these matters and I keep getting excuses and the run around! It has been a very frustrating process. I now have the hospital calling stating my bills are going to be sent to collections next month if they are not paid by the end of the month. Please do your research before picking this agency!…

I worked with Physician’s Surrogacy and would not recommend. I found their ethics to be questionable and commutation once matched to be poor.
I started the process with Physicians Surrogacy at the very end of November 2025. There was very little communication. I never knew what was happening in the process. When my coordinator did text me with updates, she would call me the wrong name (my name is Savannah and she would say “ Hey Beatrice” almost every time - if not a different random name. 😂 The pay is all inclusive which I didn’t realize the difference until going with another company so I would look into that. It made my payout significantly lower than I expected. (Meds, hotel,flight were taken out of my pay because it was all inclusive.) I was also told the entire time that my couple was located in Los Angeles. When it came time for legal contracts, I found out they were actually in Taiwan which was not what I wanted. I just didn’t feel they were transparent. There were many things that I felt I didn’t get to decide for myself. They decided for me or pushed me a certain way. I went through the process till legal contracts but I did not sign my legal contract with my IPs. I had a horrible gut feeling and could not continue. I canceled and came to a different agency whom I absolutely loveeee.…

Second time surrogate here with Physicians Surrogacy. There are A LOT of mixed reviews from every agency. But what I can share from my experience with PS is that the process from start to matching, medical clearance to legal was done in a timely manner. They do have a 3rd party for escrow, payments always on time or else and communication is always there. The coordinators I’ve come across have been incredibly sweet and supportive.
Second time surrogate here with Physicians Surrogacy. I’m located in Oregon but they are in San Diego. I chose them the first time because they answered all my questions, they were super friendly and kind. The support was always there. Payments always on time or early (if around holidays) I personally had an amazing bf experience and that’s why I decided to come back for a second journey 🤍

They are very scammy agency. I am also intended parent and suffering . Most heartless people form this agency and threy claim to be physicians. I feel so bad in California we have to deal with such agencies. I am loosing hope because I chose this agency. I am at point of giving up now. Every single thing is scammy. They pushed me to accept surrogate with STD. If they can do this, they can do anything. They send profile every week and at any time of the day and it is first come first serve basis. No matter how quickly I respond they never gave me a chance to talk to my pick of surrogate. I am starting to wonder if they are sending out fake profiles or reserve such profiles only to certain section of clients. Until an investigation is done we will never know. They always come up with excuses that either some other parent picked up the surrogate or surrogate does not respond to our calls or some emergency and cancel call last minute. Its like dating toxic guy at this point who can play with your life.…

I did a journey with them. Everything was good until the end, I kept having to ask about pay. They also lied to me lol but I did have a good experience!
I had just an awful time with them. Communication was great in the beginning and they really did a great job of making all of the bad reviews seem like they were not real people with real experiences. After a year and half of straight up nonsense I switched agencies. They lost lab orders, failed to send them, failed to be responsive almost always, I still have unpaid medical bills, they mixed up names and birthdates on lab orders, failed for months on end to send what was needed to move to the next steps, failed to send meds in a timely manner or in enough of a quantity which ended up in a failed embryo transfer. Then even though the contract stated there would be at least two embryo transfers before cancelling the IPs broke contract leaving me to start over after investing a year of my time. They stated they’d re match me and I would just have to repeat some labs and wait 3 months in between. Only sent an order for a quarter of the labs needed so I had to have another lab visit they then lost the results and then waited the full three months before stating they’d wanted me to get another ultrasound. took another two months to send the order to the doctor to get one and then stated my labs were expired now so I’d have to redo them. Meanwhile I never once spoke with or even got to text or communicate with either sets of supposed IPs. I then gave up and switched in December and now am medically cleared with a new agency hoping for an embryo transfer next month.…
I'm currently working with them. I was able to amend the contract on several key items to get what I needed, but I was willing to walk away if they weren't going to accommodate my requests. Base compensation is 75k if you live in Ca, and there's an additional 3k in bonuses, outside of that it is all inclusive (unless there's an unexpected medical procedure required, d&c/miscarriage/carrying twins, bed rest for working moms, etc, then you will get paid additional funds for that). Physicians Surrogacy is mostly in house, meaning for almost every part of the process they don't have to refer to outside legal/medical/financial/insurance offices. Which is part of the reason I preferred them because they're streamlined and things move quickly & is more organized. I also prefer not to have a super personal agency, it's just not a need for me, however my pregnancy coordinator is super duper kind and checks on me often, but they've been professional, honest, & communicate consistently (a big issue I had with other agencies). This is my 3rd & final coordinator who will stay with me for the duration of the journey. The first coordinator was also amazing, the 2nd coordinator was a bit rough, idk if she has personal stuff going on or was just overwhelmed it didn't like the job but she took care of what needed to be taken care with with some reminders. But overall a better experience than with other agencies I dealt with. Some ppl don't like how escrow is in-house, so PS handles payments from escrow to surrogates (which is less common but some agencies do, do that), I don't have to request reimbursements I can just shoot my coordinator a message and she'll reach out to the financial team for me. Which I prefer. It's less stress on me. I matched in less than a week with them, I'm super happy with the IP I matched with (although the journey is still unfolding, so I'll leave some reservations for how things will turn out) I think fine tune what kind of experience you're looking to have. And with whatever agency you pick, advocate for yourselfffffff during legal, be fully comfortable with everything in there, ensure you're financially protected, request changes, and don't everrrr settle out of desperation, that will get you in trouble. Hey there! I am currently 26 weeks pregnant on my second journey at Physician’s Surrogacy and I’ve had nothing but good experiences! I wouldn’t have come back for a second journey if it wasn’t a good experience! My case managers have always been super helpful and supportive and I’ve found the process to be very streamlined. I never waited more than a week or so to match with IP’s so I hope you get a match soon! After reading some of the other comments here let me just say: Both of my transfers were successful on the first time. My first journey was with an outside fertility clinic because that’s where the IP had his embryos but my second journey was with their in house clinic and both times were good experiences! No issues! I’ve never had an issue with payment or with the legal process. They do give you a lawyer but they are a separate lawyer from the IP’s and they totally and 100% represent your interests. If you aren’t comfortable with the lawyer they suggest you can definitely choose your own. I was able to fully read the contract and have a consultation with the lawyer to make any changes I wanted! I never felt like the lawyer wasn’t on my side. All compensation payments are paid out of an escrow account managed by an independent lawyer so the IP’s don’t have any say over your pay. They were cheating on each side( IP and surrogate) we know this when we meet our surrogates, they were charging a lot and not clear on the details when you consult them!
I wanted to post an anonymous review of our experience with Physician’s Surrogacy. This review is geared towards those currently in contract or thinking of entering a contract with them, emphasizing what to look out for as an IP. 1.)The flat fee is deceptive. Travel costs and healthcare before confirmation of pregnancy are out of your pocket. Because they don’t use a health insurance agency, the health costs you pay are rates that haven’t been negotiated. They also really don’t make an effort to keep gestational carrier travel costs down. They use a travel agency that adds fees. Moreover, the prices they got weren’t that great (eg probably 20-30% higher than what we found on basic internet searches. Even more, they just slap you with a bill at around confirmation of pregnancy. Be sure to ask for all receipts. We got the vibe that they will just write blank checks without even verifying what services were even provided. I’d also add that the contingency account can be used towards fees (eg medical monitoring, bonuses to surrogate for going to some activities, etc). 2.) Our case manager wasn’t our advocate. We were led to believe that our case manager would advocate for us and keep us in the loop. However, this hasn’t been the case. Our weekly updates have been copy and pasted generic info (having very little to do with our specifics). She has on multiple times misrepresented the facts of our contract with our surrogate, which has led to our lawyers getting involved numerous times. She has also gone MIA at some of the most important times, including relaying key medical info to our surrogate. She also just never seemed to advocate for our stakes as IPs. 3.) Given how much arguing has unfolded around costs, I’m assuming they are strapped for cash. Just something to keep a note of. Many who work at this agency feel hostile, defensive, and downright vindictive. My experience overall tells me that this is a predatory agency towards both IPs and surrogates. Moreover, they engage with many unethical and deceptive practices (why is the attorney who helped them with their shady policies also the one who they recommend to IPs?).…

was with them my first journey and all went well until about a month before delivery. Aside from the fact I didn’t have any, literally none at all, communication with the IPs, most of it wasn’t bad. Afterwards, though, it wasn’t pleasant. Let me backtrack - I did have to stay on them like crazy to make sure my payments were on time. Like get my lawyer involved and everything. Sometimes they’d come on the 25th. Sometimes they’d come on the 15th(of the following month) Sometimes they’d come on the 1st. All over the place at first. It took until about month 6 to get them when they should have been and were constantly at the same time. When I was heading to the hospital to give birth, I got told the IPs weren’t coming. I was told it would be an aunt and the grandmother, along with an agent that was basically a translator. So again, never met or talked to the IPs. They didn’t get there until the day after the baby was born. When they did get there, they didn’t want to see baby first. They knew I was about to get discharged so they wanted to take me to eat. Which was fine, whatever. I told them I needed about 30 minutes to say bye to baby and get my stuff packed up - so we did all of that and my nurses said I was good to go. While we were eating, the nursery called me asking who was coming to get baby because they didn’t check in or anything we all went back up to the hospital and got that straightened out. The hospital had their contact info but when they called them, no one answered or call them back. It was wild. My coordinator checked in on me the day I got discharged and then literally never again. I had to communicate with my lawyer who communicated with them because the agency wouldn’t communicate with me to get bills paid. We ended up having to threaten them with a lawsuit before the bills were paid and the rest of my comp was paid. Basically, once I got released to my OB, the contact was bare minimum. I would send weekly bump updates and such and hardly ever got a reply. I don’t know if they made it to the IPs or not. My case manager was terrible. I competed this journey in January of 2021. I went into it so blind and deeply regret that. Please do your research and don’t sign anything with anyone until you are absolutely certain! (Full disclosure, I am a case manager with another surrogacy company, but started in June of ‘25 after completing my second journey in October of ‘24 with a completely different agency than Physicians and the one I work for now. This review has zero to do with my employment and I’ve given the same story long before my job now.)…
I would not recommend. Our case manager is horrible. She has on numerous occasions misrepresented the facts of very specific legal matters regarding our contract. I let the first one slide. However, given how often the misrepresentation of what we are legally entitled to has become, I believe it’s deliberate. If you like being gaslit by case workers whose updates are copy and paste emails that don’t answer questions, this is the agency for you.
IP here and though I’ve read negative comments we absolutely love them! We had communication every step of the way and were matched quickly and our precious baby was born last August and we are planning on a sibling journey next year. Our GC reported that she had zero issues with them too and she’s looking forward to our next journey! I attended quite a few Dr appointments and ultrasound appts! It was all around a good and positive experience with them 😎
I’m a IP, wish I didn’t go with them. It’s all great communication until you sign. Then nothing, and issues. It’s not a fixed price at all, and the contracts won’t let you see invoices. You are charged way over what normal expenses should be excessively. Communication is horrible. I would go elsewhere. Knowing what I know now. I am an ip with them and it’s a nightmare. I went in clear about what I wanted and they are accusing me off not being forthcoming when I have emails that prove I was. My case manager left early and I struggle deeply with the one I have now. Communication is horrendous. I have asked to change and to talk with management they don’t care. They are clearly overcharging us. I asked to see the receipts to back up expenses and they refused and pointed to that contract saying we have no rights to see them are they are way more than what the fertility clinic says they should be. Which is crazy because I went in to this thinking they were an all inclusive agency.…
My experience was not good however after 3-4 case managers in i finally got a decent one ...and the fertility clinic they partner with is horrible they dropped me after close to a year after a said *email* said i have cervical stenosis however they could not produce anything proving proof of that..... they strung me along made me move mountains to make a last minute appointment to have a sis (was the last step to be medically cleared) then the day before they dropped me( but told me if i got something from my obgyn saying i dont have CS they would take me back! 🤯please beware im with another agency thats much more ethical and communication is spot on…
Absolutely horrible. I would not work with them again. Luckily my GC was wonderful. There are whispers of clients sharing stories and pursuing legal action against them.
They were terrible at communicating, lost results time and time again, mixed up lab orders with the wrong names and birthdates, sent incorrect lab orders as in missing needed labs, this resulted in not getting timely levels and labs after my first transfer, they also failed to send enough meds in a timely manner. Ex they stated please inform us when you have 5 days left but would send only 5 days worth at a time and then take 5-7 days to deliver the next batch, depending on how long the coordinator took to respond. So there were several days directly after transfer I ran out of meds. The caseworkers either quit or got fired roughly 5 times, and communication and response times were terrible. Some of labs would be almost an hour away so I’d drive there for my appointment only to get there and have a missing needed blood work and not be able to get in contact with anyone and be forced to drive back again and again. Then they wanted another ultrasound done to rematch after my failed transfer but didn’t send the order for almost 4 months, then stated the labs I did we’re now expired and I’d have to do them yet again, after already completing them without issue a half dozen times.…
IP here, not thrilled. Poor communication, they expect you to follow instructions without asking. Their staff is rude and condescending. Change of narrative happens on a regular basis
I am currently with them now. I signed up with them early last year. I was receiving gift cards for all the milestones which was helpful. They were very communicative in the beginning and the process went pretty fast. Once my profile was active I had a potential match within 48 hours. We had a zoom call later that week (Friday) and both confirmed match on Monday morning. Flash forward a month and ps called me to tell me the match failed due to issues with the family. Profile went back to active looking for a match and I was matched with two potential ips. First zoom we decided to match right after the zoom call. Medical clearance was easy. They were very accommodating (I asked only to fly delta and ps had no issue with that). Hotel was paid for but no food voucher, they only give you a food voucher for transfer day. Anyways I got my medical screening results within 2 weeks I think?? Legal was quick (5 weeks). I started my meds for transfer and unfortunately the family had issues and broke the match day 4 of my med start. I was then put back into the active file for matching and had another match lined up within a week. We matched and now waiting for my attorney to contact me. I did see a lot of things this time around I will ask to fix in my contract. (10 payments, lump sum payment once given birth, last payment to be paid within 5/7 business days after birth not the following month..) hopefully it’s approved otherwise I’ll be finding a new agency. I’m praying it will be since they have been accommodating but we shall see.…
My two personal experiences were beautiful. As I moved forward in the process, the coordinators were very good at communication and answering my questions. They have a monthly support group for surrogates. They do give out incentives for passing required screening. Always got paid on time or before. I can’t complain. Hoping to do a 3rd with them 💕
Please don’t do it. They don’t have health insurance for the surrogates. They also don’t make changes on the contract except for like getting paid within 5 days on the first payment.

Yes, they are fast paced, but I appreciated that about them because I was excited to start the process and help a family (which I have been matched with the sweetest couple by the way). They haven’t given me direct contact with them yet, but I don’t blame because I wouldn’t want to get too attached before making sure I was officially cleared.
I’m a GC with them; in legal now. And they did do a full medical record check on me. I did medical and  psych.
I was horrified by them when I was first searching for agencies. Their rep gave a great first impression, but then I started getting matches that fit zero if my criterion and didn’t look like they had been vetted at all in general. A person who works there kept sending me duplicate messages with the same GC’s even after I explained why they didn’t match on any single level. When I asked her to stop emailing she kept doing so, and I had to block them. The profiles (at least at the time) seemed to be created by AI and had glaring mistakes. I joined other Surrogacy groups and read about so many red flags about them it was scary. Went with a different agency!…
Hi, I’m a new member here, and have just completed my journey with Physicians Surrogacy as a parent, so I can also give some fresh feedback. My newborn is 8 weeks old now and the whole process was very smooth. Having already gone through a first IP journey with another agency I felt a real difference in quality and reliability with Physicians, and felt really secure with them. There are sometimes going to be additional costs to consider, such as if you are an international IP you will likely need to set up a newborn insurance to cover the medical care of your baby, but these are the kinds of additional costs I found Physicians advised me on quite clearly and guided me on. I know from my surrogate she had a great relationship with the agent with regular contact. I hope this helps…
As a parent, we and our carrier both had really negative experiences with them, but I know some people on here seemed to have great experiences
We are currently using them. DO NOT USE. 1.) The flat fee thing should be examined as possible false advertising. We ended up with 48k of extra charges on top of that. 2.) Our liaison isn’t supporting our surrogate and doesn’t generally know what’s going on. 3.) Kelsey is incredibly rude, argumentative, and defensive once you sign the contract. 4.) We are fairly convinced that their medical screenings are not thorough and miss a lot (between failing to ask the right questions and having previously matched with a surrogate who failed multiple health screenings at an outside clinic).…
Spoke with them early on in the process but really didn’t like their plan/package and the staff was rude to us telling us “we just need to trust the process” and not ask too many questions.
We love them!! Had nothing but a great experience all the way around! Our GC as well! I think all agencies will have good and not so good reviews but personally we love the entire team at PS!
Hi, I just gave birth on May 2nd through Physicians. Never again. As I was in active labor, in the hospital, the nurses tell me that had absolutely zero paperwork on me. My case manager never sent it in. So as I'm in labor and in pain, I'm also stressing out and trying to contact my case manager, the after hours line, and my IPS all at once and trying to explain the situation and importance of this. I had such little communication with my case managers as well. And my IPS. I felt out of the loop a lot. My OBs were absolutely awful, and I had to change clinics THREE times. Because they couldn't find a clinic that would accept their insurance. When they flew me out to have a thorough medical examination, my case manager was supposed to send me money to use for food. She didn't send it until 10 hours after arriving and only sent it because I called her bosses since she wasn't answering my calls. They give me no number or email to someone that's above my case manager. No one to complain to. I'm just stuck. They're so unprofessional to us. Last year when they tried to match me, they would send me emails about possible IPS, and just today I received a TEXT-not an email, with NO information about the IPS!!! I am working with them. So far so good; no issues. They text or call me back within 24 hours. I signed 4/22, matched 6/11; I could of matched in May but I declined as I only wanted IP and it was listed as a preference (not a hard stop to what I wanted) I could do medical clearance now but I am waiting until sept as I had some vacation coming up this summer 
Hi there, I am currently a second time surrogate with Physician's Surrogacy and I couldn’t be happier with the experience I’ve had! From day one they’ve been right by my side helping me complete any and all tasks! Any questions or concerns I may have never go unanswered and it truly feels as though my hand is being held through the entire process! Communication is always great, transparency is key with them, support/care is a top priority, compensation is more than fair and the matching process along with the IP/IP’s options are amazing! I’ve never felt more empowered or valued as a women, well besides when I had my at home birth with my son lol! Point is though, I can’t thank my agency enough for how spectacular becoming a GC has been since choosing to work with them! I’m hoping to come back for a third time after this second journey concludes because there’s definitely no better feeling than helping people create families! 🤗…
Posting anonymous but I'm with physicians surrogacy been in the journey Since April I had my first failed transfer on March 3 I'm emotional & confused they haven't reached out to check on me. I last heard from the coordinator the day I got the sad news and when i followed up with the case manager zero support. I'm just devastated and I'm hurt for my IPs I don't know where I stand since this is a contract please do your research ask all the questions 😔 I wish I asked if the ips had failed transfers in the past so I knew how to be prepared for this.
