Reproductive Possibilities is a predatory company. WARNING- do not engage with or use. Initially they will appear to offer support, be readily available to answer questions, be empathetic—their founder after all was an intended parent once herself—and quote a relatively short wait time (6 months for us) before they will begin to send gestational carrier matches for your review (note, their quotes will always be verbal and never in writing). You will be presented with the only option it seems you have to start your family- pay them a non-refundable “deposit” of $12,000 USD and sign an iron clad 40+ page contract that protects them from any liability whatsoever. Once you give them this money, they will send you a short email every few months stating that they are still searching for a match; don’t worry they’ll say, you’re a priority to them, it’s just that COVID-19 has impacted the availability of carriers. After over a year of this you will stop to hear from them. They’re gone and so is your money. You will call and ask for it back nicely… maybe you’ll be angry and will demand it. They will dismiss you. They know you have no recourse. The company is owned by a lawyer, and it will cost you more than your $12,000 deposit to fight them in court. And frankly, your court battle would be difficult- the signed contract exonerates them from ever having to deliver a match to you, let alone ever refunding you. Their business practice is a high-quality scam preying on a vulnerable population of infertile patients who are generally well-off and desperate.…

Unethical and unreliable agency . I had a horrible experience as a mother to be . I was asked by one of the staffers to pay in advance 11000 USD, to be prioritize for the agency to find me a surrogate within a year. It was just post covid . I signed all the contract on her word I would be reimbursed if there was no fertilization , they sent me the first profiled 2 years later and my fertilization had failed . The agency exploits the desire of mothers to be to have a child at their most vulnerable. Never work with them, the first rule of a surrogate agency is efficiency and trustworthiness . They are neither.…
You should RUN from reproductive possibilities!!! I Highly recommend conceivabilities, way better service and they actually find you a surrogate. If they don’t, you get a refund. Reproductive possibilities kept our money and pointed out the fine print that they didn’t have to find us a qualified surrogate. Conceivabilities is WAY BETTER!!!! (This is my humble opinion) ☺️
Couldn’t have been a worse, more unorganized, non-transparent, amateur and agonizing experience. I didn’t know if all agencies were as unorganized and haphazard. Having now seen what professional agencies handle and how they screen, match and execute due diligence with effective systems and processes, it’s abundantly clear just how much RP robbed us of time, money and caused emotional heartache, all while I did the job that I paid them to do. Steer clear!

I’ve been a surrogate mother for this company twice (2020 and 2022), and they have made it a smooth journey both times. Anytime I had a question or concerns , they were only an email or phone call away. From the beginning of the interviewing process all the way down to delivery, everything was wonderful. Matching with an intended Parents was fast and each time me and the families clicked immediately. There’s not enough good things that I could say. We have been on their "Waiting list" for over a year. After a year of waiting, we finally receive our first "match" and its someone that was 6 hours away. They justified it because we gave 3 states we were comfortable with. Those states we had family in, and the referral was not in that state. Considering how many women are out there who just don't want to go through the hoops of an agency- swerve away from this place. They are non-refundable, so even if you decide you are not able to move forward ... your money is gone, even if they have done nothing.…
Horrible attitude when you speak on the phone with the medical coordinator. I can’t stand anyone who is rude and has such an annoyed tone on the phone. Will not be contacting this agency ever again !
As a first time surrogate, I didn't know what to expect from an agency. Reproductive Possibilities fulfilled my needs every step of the journey. The staff always answered all my questions in a timely manner and even reached out during and after my journey just to check in on how I was doing. From the application process to post partum, I always felt I got the support I needed. It was such a wonderful experience I'm thinking of completing another journey with this agency.

Fact: As soon as I posted my review, I received an email from Reproductive Possibilities's attorney accusing me of "attempted theft by extortion" and asking me to either remove the review from the internet... or they take me to court! For the record, I have no financial or other demand on RP. My review aims solely at guiding future intended parents into how to navigate the complicated and non-transparent surrogacy industry, in which RP is a player. But RP's attempt to coerce me with fabricated claims is telling of the kind of attitude IPs should expect from them: self-serving, money-driven ruthlessness. My husband and I foolishly signed a contract with RP more than a year ago. At the onset of our discussions we were asked to fill in a questionnaire with the characteristics we are looking for in a gestational carrier. Having already gone through an earlier traumatic experience with a wrong surrogate, where we lost a twin pregnancy on month 4, we put in the questionnaire a set of objective criteria for the candidate we seek that, we felt, would improve our chances of success. We are talking about tangible things like an age ceiling, along with other non-negotiable features (eg a surrogacy-friendly state, etc). Alas, during the course of 12 months they were only able to furnish 4 profiles: The first was above our already very generous age limit of 40 years old. The next one was medically obese, with all the pregnancy risks associated with medical obesity, and with all sorts of other red flags incl. what appeared to be an unstable household and a dire financial need that raises concerns about the person's safety. The third profile was even more medically obese than the second, with BMI of 33.8, which made her automatically ineligible under our clinic's BMI limits. And the fourth candidate required Lloyds insurance as a back up, which is very expensive and which we had ruled out in the questionnaire as unaffordable. Each time we expressed our concerns we found deaf ears... RP claimed they receive several new profiles "each week"; and that they "hoped to fulfill their obligation to us soon". Only that we never got to see any of those alleged profiles except for the 4 ones above. To all IPs out there: if you still decide to engage with this agency, make sure you insert every requirement you seek in a candidate explicitly in your services agreement, so that you are legally covered iif/when RP fail you. In our case, even though we had embedded the IP questionnaire into the contract, they argued that the contract obliged them only to provide profiles that "closely matched" our criteria, but not entirely. Effectively, without explicit references in the contract of your minimum requirements, RP can present to you anyone with a uterus and be legally covered under the clause of "closely matching" (but not entirely) your criteria. Also make sure you record your initial telephone conversation with them and let them know you're doing so. Ask how many GC profiles they receive per month and ask for data to prove it (we never got any). And keep every email communication so that you can hold them accountable to their claims. But better yet, don't waste your time. Time is invaluable when you have been trying to have a baby for years. There other agencies out there who can help you. We have worked with A Woman's Gift in the past, who are fully transparent about their GC candidates and their matching process: they put out all their profiles online for parents to see and decide for themselves; parents choose for themselves, instead of waiting to be matched under a non-transparent process; they take no agency fee payment until a match is made--unlike RP, which pocketed a $6,800 downpayment despite their failure to furnish any eligible profile; and the people running AWG are competent, no nonsense, truthful and to the point. Life is too short for dealing with agencies who cannot deliver.... Let alone those who bully you into taking down a negative review!…
I was a 2x GS with RP and have had great journeys with them from start to finish. They matched me quickly with like minded IPs and communicated very well. My second journey ended in an Emergency cs and Alyssa and Virgina were speaking to my family to check on me the whole time. They showed the upmost sincerest compassion for my well being. If I ever had any concern or need virgina and Alyssa were sure to handle it all in a prompt and timely manner! I was so honored to work along side agency in creating the families we did!…
I am a 5-time surrogate. 3 of those were through Reproductive Possibilities, and I can't say enough good about my experience there. Care was taken to match me with the best couple based on our criteria. The support I received throughout the pregnancy (and after!) was amazing! The staff really understand what we face at the different stages and are beyond caring. Choosing your agency is as critical as the couple you carry for - I ONLY recommend Reproductive Possibilities.

This is a review of our interactions primarily with Patricia Donnelly as our main POC and counselor, and secondarily with Melissa and Nancy as our counsel. Our journey with RP was pretty amazing. We hit it off with Patricia right away, who spent a significant amount of time with us over the phone before we paid a single cent answering all of our questions. We already had felt comfortable because we were commended to Patricia from a close friend who had gone through the journey with her. When we did need counsel, both Melissa and Nancy were outstanding in their support of us. After being very comfortable with every aspect of the journey, we signed on with RP. We had a very broad criteria for GCs because we knew from previous situations that using a younger, statistically fitter GC doesn't always lead to good results...we have to hit it off with each other and it has to feel right. So when we were given a profile of a GC who was 40, we agreed to talk with her and her family, and trusted our doctors to make the correct decisions. It was the best decision because she (Samantha) is a kind, loving, wonderful person with a great family that will always hold a special place in our hearts. She gave birth to our beautiful daughter, with very little complications (there's always going to be something btw). Remember that the uterus is hormonally responsive and can sustain pregnancies even into a woman's 40's. The quality of the embryo is key, as is the health of the GC and absence of any uterine/endometrial conditions. Interpreting hard statistics as black/white decision-making tools is folly. Everything needs to be case-by-case. Throughout this journey, Patricia, Melissa, and Nancy responded quickly, and urgently to all of our queries. Specifically, Patricia was always there to ensure that everyone got what they needed, and that when we had concerns, she would do her best to address our worries, but when we were overly so, she would firmly, but with compassion, let us know that. When we spoke, we felt like we were speaking with a wise friend whose knowledge and experience we trusted. There were unexpected things that happened here and there, but we always felt that Patricia was there to advocate for us when needed, and also take care to make sure that Samantha had whatever she needed. Having Patricia on our journey relieved so much of the stress. Moreover, RP has worked with multiple clinics and the New England clinic they recommended had an experienced doctor willing to work with our GC and everything synced up very nicely. I know that this review may seem too perfect, and perhaps some will accuse us that we're only writing this because everything worked out, etc. But if we were to be 100% honest, if it had not worked out and Samantha did not get pregnant with our final embryos, we would have felt 100% ready to move on with our lives knowing that we gave it our best try. Let us share that we've worked with other agencies that were simply not as forthcoming, and not as transparent. We've worked with international agencies that simply ripped us off. At no point were we ready to say that we gave it our best shot until at RP. I would leave a 5* review even if we did not get our precious daughter. Please feel free to PM us for details. I will be happy to share a bit about our experience with Melissa's office. Seven years ago we arrived to meet with Melissa in their office, we arrived very confused, and frightened. As soon as we talked to Melissa, we understood that we were in safe hands, she could tell us the right words, she knew every law related to surrogacy, and that gave us confidence. A year and a half later our baby, the little prince, was born. I can not explain the feeling of being parents. It is the greatest blessing. To all Intended parents: Run away from this agency as fast as you can! They claim they have several gestational carrier candidates applying to them every week... and that they match hundreds of people annually... yet when asked to provide evidence for their claims, they are never willing, nor able, to provide any. My husband and I were fooled into signing a contract with Reproductive Possibilities more than a year ago. At the very onset of our discussions we were asked to fill in a questionnaire with the characteristics we are looking for in a gestational carrier. Having already gone through an earlier traumatic experience with another surrogate, when we lost a twin pregnancy on month 4, we had put in the questionnaire the absolute minimum standards of physical health, along with other sine qua non features (like a surrogacy-friendly state, and so on) as requirements for the candidate we seek. We even pushed to embed the questionnaire into our contract with RP--something which they chose to ignore. Alas, during the course of 12 months they were only able to furnish four profiles, none of which met the absolute minimum requirements we sought. The first "candidate" was above our already very generous age limit of 40 years old. The next two candidates were medically obese, with all the pregnancy risks associated with medical obesity, and with all sorts of other red flags, including unstable households, indeterminate insurance situations, a dire financial need that raises concerns about the person's household safety, and so on. As for the fourth profile, she required Lloyds insurance as a back up, which is extremely expensive and which we had ruled out in the questionnaire as totally unaffordable. Each time we expressed our concerns, we found deaf ears on he other side.... and promises to find the "perfect match", "very soon". To reassure us they repeated their claim that they receive several profiles every week, or that they had a host of past surrogates who were willing to do it again and whose profiles would be made available to us soon.... only that we never saw any of those supposed profiles! As for the owner, Melissa Brisman, she lured us into her agency by flagging her own experience in having children through surrogacy and thus pretending to identify with our anxiety to have a baby and our desire to find a quality gestational carrier. She also bragged about her familiarity with our fertility clinic and told us during our telephone interview that she would use that familiarity to first vet the profiles through our clinic before showing them to us, to save us time and reassure us they are eligible. Turns our she was entirely absent from the process throughout the one year period. Never involved and never bothered to vet any of the candidates with our clinic. All she wanted was to close a transaction, pocket our money and absolve herself and her company from any potential disastrous pregnancy outcome that might ensue out of a wrong GC candidate. To all IPs out there: if you've read the above and still decide to engage with this agency, make sure you insert every requirement you seek in a candidate explicitly in your services agreement, so that you are legally covered in the very likely scenario RP will fail you. In our case, even though we had embedded the IP questionnaire into the contract, they argued that the contract obliged them only to provide profiles that "closely matched" our criteria, but not entirely--thus basically absolve themselves from their failure to meet even the most basic of our health criteria. Thesed people will present anyone with a uterus under the guise of "closely matching" (but not entirely) your criteria, so try to be as specific and explicit as you can and wish. Also make sure you record your initial telephone conversation with them and keep every email communication with them so that you can hold them accountable to their claims. But better yet, don't waste your time with RP. Time is invaluable when you have been trying to have a baby for years. There are better, more honest and more transparent agencies out there who can help you. Our journey to have a baby started out in 2005. My husband and I were married for 2 years and decided that it was time to start a family. Well, weeks turned into months, and months turned into years..buy still no baby. We started fertility treatments about a year later in 2006. We did 8 rounds of IVF and they all failed. My husband and I had started to give up hope and decided to leave our last egg at Cornell and take a break. We were heartbroken, broke and devastated to say the least. All this time and money spent on trying to have a baby was taking a toll on us and we decided to call it quits. Sometimes miracles happen when you least expect them. My husband and I decided to become certified adoptive parents and sent out a letter in our Christmas cards that year to let our family and friends know we were thinking of adopting. This is where our lives changed forever. My cousin Kristen, who is like a third sister to me, received our letter and decided that she was going to be a surrogate for us since we had 1 egg left. We could not believe this was happening and our doctor told us to call Melissa Brisman right away to set up an appointment. From the moment we first met with Melissa, we knew we were in the best hands possible. She explained every detail of the surrogacy process to us and was always available to speak with us about any questions or concerns we had. Her office staff was WONDERFUL throughout our entire experience. Katie, Lorraine, Nancy (and so many others) and the entire office worked tirelessly with us and we became very close throughout the entire journey. Our miracle baby was born on February 22, 2015 and every time we look at her we are reminded that dreams do come true and miracles do happen. We also think about our angels here on earth: our doctors, and especially the DEDICATED and SUPPORTIVE staff at Melissa Brisman's office that not only finalized all of our legal papers, but most importantly became friends that we will always have in our lives.…
With regret I will relay my experience with RP. After 4 months I received 2 profiles, both not the agreed upon qualifications I asked for. I only have afew eggs for IVF, so afew shots at it is all I might have, if that. Thus, I specifically asked for younger surrogates under 35 since all of the research is CRYSTAL clear that advanced age equals considerably lower chance that IVF will work. The average statistics of IVF success are generally around the following: 41-43% for women under age 35. 33-36% for women ages 35 to 37. 23-27% for women ages 38 to 40. Thus noone disagrees that under 35 is advantageous. That being said, the 2 profiles sent to me were a 38 year-old woman divorced in the last month and a 36 year-old woman. When I expressed concern and disagreement given the facts and science of older women and IVF, RP argued maturity is good for a surrogate... which I agree with... but not for someone who has few chances. Furthermore, a divorcing mother with a child does not seem like stability to me. They even told me in my intake interview that they prefer candidates in a marriage particularly with children for that reason. Research and science doesn't lie, neither does my doctor who works with them on a regular basis. I'm not sure why they continued to deny this when I reached out to express my dissappointment. They continued to defend a point that the research and science and their own referring doctor disagrees with. When I think of who I want to represent my best interests, these profiles being presented to me were not at all in my best interest. The second fact you should be aware of is that their contract states there are NO refunds. I understand this is what I signed, however, ladies you should know that even though you think surrogacy is a last resort and maybe you are told like me that you can never get pregnant...it CAN happen. Who among us would ever assume this could happen!? I got pregnant naturally (miracle, I know) 4 months into paying RP...so no refund, not even partial. While I understand this is their policy I signed and I take accountability for not thinking this could ever happen, my point was at this time they did little work other than send me 2 profiles that did NOT fit the profile I asked for. I would hope they would see that this was an extenuating circumstance, but it was their attitude that struck me the most. Not only did they refuse any type of reimbursement, understandable given I signed the contract, Virginia actually told me if I expressed myself on Facebook: "should you defame our company in any way, we will be contacting our attorney immediately and we will defend our rights to the full extent of the law. As per our service agreement we will hold you liable for our attorney fees." A bit overboard and quite a threat. When I told her I was only telling the truth and was not intending to 'defame' anyone, she then tried to get me to admit to blackmailing them. These were wildly inappropriate emails and an angry attitude. There is no law that says I can't provide feedback about my experience. The truth is not defaming. My truth is written here for you to decide if this works for you given my experience. Its alot of money and an extremely sensitive and intimate problem we are attempting to solve. Remember, there is always a chance your life will change...pregnancy or other life change could happen... and if no work is done on their side no refund at all seems unfair. With regret I will relay my experience with RP. After 4 months I received 2 profiles, both not the agreed upon qualifications I asked for. I only have afew eggs for IVF, so afew shots at it is all I might have, if that. Thus, I specifically asked for younger surrogates under 35 since all of the research is CRYSTAL clear that advanced age equals considerably lower chance that IVF will work. The average statistics of IVF success are generally around the following: 41-43% for women under age 35. 33-36% for women ages 35 to 37. 23-27% for women ages 38 to 40. Thus noone disagrees that under 35 is advantageous. That being said, the 2 profiles sent to me were a 38 year-old woman divorced in the last month and a 36 year-old woman. When I expressed concern and disagreement given the facts and science of older women and IVF, RP argued maturity is good for a surrogate... which I agree with... but not for someone who has few chances. Furthermore, a divorcing mother with a child does not seem like stability to me. They even told me in my intake interview that they prefer candidates in a marriage particularly with children for that reason. Research and science doesn't lie, neither does my doctor who works with them on a regular basis. I'm not sure why they continued to deny this when I reached out to express my dissappointment. They continued to defend a point that the research and science and their own referring doctor disagrees with. When I think of who I want to represent my best interests, these profiles being presented to me were not at all in my best interest. The second fact you should be aware of is that their contract states there are NO refunds. I understand this is what I signed, however, ladies you should know that even though you think surrogacy is a last resort and maybe you are told like me that you can never get pregnant...it CAN happen. Who among us would ever assume this could happen!? I got pregnant naturally (miracle, I know) 4 months into paying RP...so no refund, not even partial. While I understand this is their policy I signed and I take accountability for not thinking this could ever happen, my point was at this time they did little work other than send me 2 profiles that did NOT fit the profile I asked for. I would hope they would see that this was an extenuating circumstance, but it was their attitude that struck me the most. Not only did they refuse any type of reimbursement, understandable given I signed the contract, Virginia actually told me if I expressed myself on Facebook: "should you defame our company in any way, we will be contacting our attorney immediately and we will defend our rights to the full extent of the law. As per our service agreement we will hold you liable for our attorney fees." A bit overboard and quite a threat. When I told her I was only telling the truth and was not intending to 'defame' anyone, she then tried to get me to admit to blackmailing them. These were wildly inappropriate emails and an angry attitude. There is no law that says I can't provide feedback about my experience. The truth is not defaming. My truth is written here for you to decide if this works for you given my experience. Its alot of money and an extremely sensitive and intimate problem we are attempting to solve.
