Taking part in something as intimate as surrogacy involving my body and my willingness to help others should feel respectful and supportive. This is by far the best surrogacy agency I could have ever come across. From the owner, Shadina Blunt, who has been a wonderful personnel to come to whether is for surrogacy, or even personal things. She is such a lie. She is such an inspiration, and I love her mission when it comes to connecting people with their lifelong dreams of being parents. Then there goes my darling precious Kimberly who has been my saving grace all throughout and before my journey with surrogacy miracles, she make sure she cultivates you with all of the necessary information that is needed. To me, SMC family is really a gift from God. Without Shadina and Kim, I'm not sure how my journey would have gone. Just these two made the procedure so much more enjoyable. Being a single man going through the process, surrogacy is not for the weak of heart. However, SMC made the process seem like a one-stop shop for me, offering everything from my clinic to assistance in selecting an egg donor, to locating the most beautiful, ideal and supportive gestational carrier, as well as assisting me with the legal process. They also provide counselling sessions, hehe! - they would constantly check in with me by text and phone, even when they were going through personal situations of their own. Tried two attempts, spent over $80,000 and not even a confirmed pregnancy. Make sure you join a guaranteed program. Otherwise it is too exhausting. Look up on Facebook groups about this company and you will find that the success rate here is scary low.
The Surrogacy Miracles team is absolutely AMAZING! Kim is the sweetest and made applying to be a surrogate/gestational carrier super simple. She thoroughly walked me thru the process, what I needed to do moving forward and kept an active line of communication. I ended up surprisingly getting pregnant with my partner and was soooo saddened because I was the next step from meeting the intended parents. I called and spoke with Kim with tears in my eyes and disappointment in my voice. She was so very reassuring and calming; she really eased my heart and mind by saying “baby, don’t be sad! You are so blessed to have the ability to conceive and carry on your own! We ain’t going no where girl! Have that baby, take some time to bounce back then come back and see us!” That made me feel sooo much better and although I felt I was done “getting pregnant” her words on comfort really made me hold Surrogacy Miracles near and dear to my heart! I’m now 2 years postpartum from having my 3rd born and I’ve already started telling my husband, family and close friends that I’ll be undergoing a surrogacy journey in 2023! I had been wanting to become a gestational carrier for some time, but there are so many agencies out there. It can be quite overwhelming trying to figure out which ones to apply to. I chose Surrogacy Miracles & Consulting because I was looking for an agency in the state I currently reside, the vibe of their website felt good, and because it was nice to see women that look like me that also have a passion for birth work. Especially with the climate we are currently in, representation does matter and it is important. Immediately with scheduling my consult I felt I had made the right choice. They are very friendly and personable, and do a lot of behind the scenes work on behalf of you and the intended parent(s).
