I have recently just delivered a healthy baby girl for a beautiful family. I worked with Surrogate Parenting Services. This was my first journey being a surrogate and it was everything I hoped for! After years of walking the infertility journey with close friends of ours, my husband and I thought surrogacy would be an amazing experience. This was my first surrogacy journey and I can’t say enough positive things about SPS. The team was professional and encouraging during each stage of the journey. I spoke with the agency, who offered a lot of helpful information like what it could be like to be a surrogate and some things I could expect. After some consideration, but mostly excited conversion, my husband and I decided to move forward with the experience. We were the most fortunate to have Daryl as our case manager. I could go on and on about how amazing Daryl is!!! She is the most kind, considerate and loving human. She walked with me through some very difficult times of our journey, and laughed with me through the good. She met me at all of my appointments and made it so easy for me to be a surrogate. She was the best advocate for me as my situation was unique (my husband had to be out of state for the second half of the journey). Daryl was not only my case manager, but my person to share anxieties and frustrations with. We worked with Surrogate Parenting Services as intended parents and had a generally very positive experience, with a few realities worth noting for anyone considering them. We signed with the agency in December 2022, at a time when post-COVID wait times were still quite long. We were initially told to expect about a 9-month timeline to match, and we received our first potential match in August 2023, which aligned with that estimate. However, our journey to a successful match was longer than average—we ultimately went through three potential surrogates before matching with the gestational carrier who carried our daughter. In fairness, this seemed to be a combination of factors rather than an agency issue. Our doctor had particularly high standards, and there were also complications on the surrogate side that were outside anyone’s control. While it felt drawn out at the time, it was likely just an unlucky series of events rather than a reflection of the agency’s process. One thing we really appreciated was how reasonable the agency was when it came to fees. Per our contract, we technically should have incurred additional costs due to the extended matching period. However, the owner waived those fees, recognizing that the failed matches were not our fault. That level of fairness and discretion stood out. We matched with our surrogate in August 2024, completed the embryo transfer in June 2025, and welcomed our baby girl in January 2026. Our gestational carrier was incredible—truly one of the highlights of this entire journey—and she has remained a meaningful part of our lives. From an operational standpoint, the agency is extremely knowledgeable. They guided us through all the complexities—insurance, legal steps, financial considerations, and the many “unknowns” that come with surrogacy. Having that expertise made a complicated process feel much more manageable. The single most important factor in our experience, though, (besides our incredible GC) was our case manager, Ashley. She was exceptional—highly organized, proactive, and deeply knowledgeable. She stayed on top of every detail and made even the more tedious parts of the process feel smooth and manageable. Her communication and responsiveness made a huge difference for us. Overall, we would recommend Surrogate Parenting Services, especially if you can work with Ashley as your case manager. Like any surrogacy journey, there can be unpredictability and delays, but the agency provides strong guidance and support throughout, and in our case, handled challenges with professionalism and fairness.…
I recently completed my first journey as surrogate and it truly was an amazing experience. I had Ashley as my case manager and she was there for me every step of the way. She was at most of all my appointments, she advocated for me, she answered any questions I had, and was always a phone call away if I needed her. Also, Christi did a phenomenal job in matching me with an amazing couple. Without a doubt, I would do it again. My name is Amy and this was my first time being a surrogate. I went into the entire experience not knowing what to expect but the smartest choice I made was choosing SPS. They truly take care of you from beginning to end. SPS is with you every step of the way guiding you and supporting you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Please do not work with surrogate parenting services!! They are unethical. Agency assigns attorney and that shouldn’t be. Advising an attorney is fine, but they do not get to choose for you. They allow attorneys to handle escrow, that too is unethical. They also require an agency rep to go to transfer and be at every doctors appointment and the birth. That is not something agencies should require.

I was a first time surrogate for SPS and hopefully this won't be my last time either. I can't truly express how helpful everyone is at SPS. We have been working with SPS since late 2019 and we couldn't recommend them more. Their infinite knowledge of the process with all its laws and nuances made it so easy for us, as intended parents, to relax through the process after a difficult 7 year fertility journey. SPS does EVERYTHING for you -- from matching you with a surrogate that is custom selected for your needs and values, to setting you up with attorneys, advising on insurance, selecting OBGYNs, setting expectations prior to every appointment, hand holding you through the delivery, and beyond. They are there every step of the way and anticipate needs before you even know they exist. Cristie is a master, and Ashley (Hobbs), our case worker was the ultimate partner throughout the process. We absolutely adored her and would request her if we were to ever do this again. I have friends who've worked with other agencies who were surprised by all the things that SPS handled, in that their agencies we less hands on, despite the same level of fees for service. My journey as a surrogate with SPS was nothing short of amazing. I was completely informed of all next steps throughout the process so I knew what to expect. I felt supported throughout my journey by my case manager Karina. Cristie did an amazing job at matching me with a couple that fit perfectly into my life. I was able to form an incredible relationship with my IPs and still have contact with them now. They provide support throughout the journey with group therapy sessions with other surrogates, they provide a nutritionist who can answer all dietary questions if need be, and physical therapy for during and after pregnancy. There were a couple little instances where we ran into issues and SPS was quick to resolve them without hesitation. Had the best surrogacy experience with SPS. Right from the start everyone was so friendly and helpful, made my decision to become a surrogate that much more comfortable. Devin and I had quite a IVF roller coaster ride that eventually led us to SPS and Jeniffer Herrera. Surrogacy is a complicated journey with so many ups and downs and Jeniffer was the advocate/friend/support system/SME and voice of reason and calm- even in the most vulnerable moments. We literally couldn’t have done it without her support. Jeniffer is more than a case manager, she makes ever one of us feel like we are her top priority. Experience of a lifetime for me! This was the third agency I inquired about being a surrogate with and the one I decided to work with. From start to finish I felt like I was always their #1 priority and doing whatever they needed to make sure I was happy, healthy & well taken care of was a big part of that. I am an intended mother who just completed my first surrogacy journey through SPS. After 4+ years of waiting and trying, I am finally cradling my precious three-week old daughter and am so grateful for all SPS did to make her a reality. We came to SPS on the recommendation of my therapist. There are so many surrogacy agencies out there, it can be hard to determine which one is right for you. Let me tell you, as my therapist told me: you want an agency that will stick with you, not just be a match-maker. SPS went above and beyond with our journey. They matched us with a wonderful experienced surrogate. I have heard a lot of agencies drop out of the picture at that point, but that was not the case with SPS. I highly recommend SPS for anyone looking for a surrogacy agency that is professional and caring. The process was made easy through them and they handled a lot of the behind the scenes work which made it very easy as an IP. I have nothing but great things to say about Christie, our case manager Sherri, and the staff that ensured our process was enjoyable. Surrogate Parenting Services was amazing to work with. They take the second guessing out of the process and guide you through every step. After the initial steps are completed they assign you a case manager to assist you after you have been matched. My case manager was Sherri, who was more of a friend than just a manager! She made me feel so comfortable that I could talk to her about anything and everything. When it came to getting to know the parents she and Kristie made that an easy process by guiding us through the initial meet and after that Sherri took lead on making sure we were getting to know each other and have weekly conversations. Both my case workers, Adele and Jennifer, were great always available for me if I needed them. The Katie and Heather in the office were super helpful when I needed them too. I can't say enough good things about the SPS team. If I could do it again I would only do it with SPS by my side.

I came to SPS for my first surrogacy journey and I was so lucky to have found them. My journey was made incredibly easy due to SPS and my case manager Ashley. Ashley went above and beyond as my case manager. She was so easy to talk to and get along with. I can be shy or awkward around new people and I never felt that with her. From the very first steps of getting cleared medically, to the attorneys, to my postpartum appt, SPS and Ashley was with me every step. Helping answering any of my questions or concerns. Every time I needed help they were there. I wanted my hand held thru this process and they delivered just that. Plus the added pampering I got from them made me feel even more that they cared how I was feeling throughout the process. I always felt like I was their number one concern and I never had to wait on answers. Katie and Heather always answered my requests so quickly. They all made me feel like I was their only surrogate. I can't express how great SPS is. I have just ended my second surrogacy with them, and look forward to working with them again in the future. They make being a surrogate so much easier, always on top of every step of the process. The experience I had becoming a surrogate was amazing, I meet some wonderful people including the most important.. my IPs . Providing a gift to another family was the best decision I have ever made and I would do it again just to see the face on the parents faces when their baby is born.

This was my second journey as a surrogate! Yes I came back for more😊 the whole process was super easy and no stress for me. Zero hiccups throughout the process! SPS did a wonderful job matching my family with the intended parents. We had similar views on everything making it easy to navigate the crazy world with COVID. Happy to say baby girl was born happy and healthy July 2021 with the parents and my husband all able to be there for the birth. It was a wonderful experience!

Wonderful agency ! I loved having my case manager through the whole process. From day one everyone was so helpful and encouraging. Sometimes I would feel overwhelmed and talk to her and feel like I was being heard. She definitely had a way of reassuring me and just having my back with some hard decisions I had to make. I never felt like I couldn’t reach out to anyone at the agency. Also their doula was always just a zoom call or text away towards the end of the pregnancy. I started my surrogacy journey in late 2019. Christie and her team made sure i was well informed of all the steps we would be taking through the whole process. There was Always someone walking me through each step. After i became pregnant in 2020 Ashley would call and check on me every week and just make sure I was doing good and didn’t have any questions about anything, she was there for me and whatever I needed, and was actually fun to talk to. They made sure everyone was well communicated and on the same page. They also made sure i had the best medical care. They were quick to respond if I had any questions or needed anything. I started my journey as a Gestational Surrogate in 2019. We just delivered this past February. After intensive research and talking to MANY agencies, my husband and I decided to go with Surrogate Parenting Services. We are SO thankful for the whole SPS team. Before we even got approved, they educated us on the whole process start to finish (we had done our research but it was nice to know they cared about us knowing what we were getting into. And I believe it’s nice for intended parents to be assured their surrogate has been properly educated about the process). They were very thorough in making sure we were ready, prepared, lived a healthy lifestyle to do surrogacy. The agency owner Christy is VERY involved in the process and that’s what is amazing about SPS, everyone in the team cares. They take matching very seriously. We were matched with an amazing couple who we just have so much love for and it was amazing to have a real genuine relationship with the parents. The process would have been faster but it was no fault of SPS (covid hit and shut clinics down for a little bit) but during the time we always felt supported by SPS. As for payments, reimbursements, lawyers, Pre-birth orders and all the other important legal actions/documents/payments- SPS has been great handling it all. They take the stress away from having to have any money conversations, they have those hard conversations for you. You’re also assigned a case manager who helps with any hard decisions, or hard conversations. Also the case managers are there to answer any questions and NEVER make you feel like a certain question is a dumb one. Our case manager was very educated on the whole surrogacy process from medication, the transfer, embryo making/freezing, genetic testing, pre birth orders and birthing. It was nice to have someone we could ask anything. Given a medical condition, I am unable to carry a pregnancy. When my husband and I decided we wanted to explore gestational surrogacy, we did a lot of research. SPS stood out above the rest by far - the personal touch from the Founder, the thoughtful plan and approach to really taking care of each surrogate through the journey, the fact that you get assigned your own case manager who has been a surrogate. Every detail purposeful and thought out and with true care for the journey. Our matching process went so smoothly and Christy was spot on for all the things we wanted in a relationship for this experience. Our case manager, Blythe, was incredible! She was there every step of the way. From calling when our first embryo transfer failed, to all of the exciting and perfect moments leading up to the birth of our beautiful daughter on 2/27! She was always timely in her communication, incredibly caring to both us and our surrogate. She coached us through things to be ready for with a newborn and when Covid made it so she couldn’t join us at the birth, she spent the time to walk us through the process and coach us on how we might support our surrogate and make the experience special. Adding another update: I just finished my second journey with the same family. I delivered baby boy Feb 2021 and even with Covid it was another amazing experience. I absolutely loved my experience as a Surrogate, especially with the help and support of SPS. I owe so much gratitude to them for the amazing match with my IPs and bringing us together. I am a surrogate with SPS. Christie and her team have helped me in so many ways in this journey and have answered every question I have thrown their way. When I first started looking for an agency to go with as a surrogate I interviewed with at least 6 different ones before I decided to go with SPS. And let me tell you I have never been so happy with my decision! Not only did they do an amazing job at matching me with my intended fathers but they paired me with the most amazing case manager Ashley! She has been there with me every step of the way. From the shots in the beginning, to the thousands of questions no matter the time of day, to the many trips to the hospital from being super sick and going into preterm labor, then to the delivery and she didn’t leave me there. She checked on me during my postpartum stage. She was my support during my whole pregnancy making it the easiest it could be despite a whole world pandemic. She fought for my care while I was in the hospital and I could almost guarantee no one else would have done that for me. The intended fathers I got paired with are a dream come true. I’ve herd so many surrogates journey stories and usually after birth or after providing milk the first month or 2 they loose contact or get pictures ever so often but Sps found me a couple that turned a contract into a family. The bond we formed is the one thing I really wanted going into this. Being able to spend time with my surrobabe and getting to watch him grow even if from a distance. The dads also want to visit once a year so we could continue to actively be in each others lives as much as we could being in different countries. I can’t wait to do this again! We're overjoyed to be first time parents, something we couldn't have done with out the assistance of SPS. We were drawn to SPS by their family-oriented approach and the support that having a dedicated case manager provides. SPS matched us with a surrogate within 100 miles of our home in California and supported us through the process. OUR DREAM FINALLY CAME TRUE, when our perfect, healthy, beautiful, son arrived on April 9, 2019, weighing almost 9 pounds!!! My experience was amazing from beginning to end! This was my first time as a surrogate and I never felt lost or alone once throughout the entire process. The process of growing your family with the help of a surrogate is inherently challenging, no matter how many times you have down it. Thus, it was so important to have the support, experience and care of everyone at SPS for both of our children! Cristie, SPS' owner, is warm and caring, and has built a team that has the same attributes. The personal touch is so important when confronting huge logistical issues, especially as a gay couple. For example, how do you ensure that after your child is born you can room together in the hospital to bond? Daryl, Sherri, and Cristie were absolutely professional, and ensured issues like that were one less thing to worry about. Equally important is the support that SPS provides the surrogate who is giving such a tremendous gift to the intended parents. Finally, what I think was the most critical to a successful experience is the personal care Cristie took to make sure that the intended parents and the surrogate were a good match, to minimize the potential for conflicts -- conversations that are difficult, but important to have like do you have the same views about what to do if the baby has little chance of surviving or has a serious birth defect, or what to do if the surrogate becomes very ill during the pregnancy. But she also tries to match two parties who have the chance to form a bond and the potential for a lifelong relationship after a process that is life changing for both! SPS is such an amazing agency to work with to be a surrogate. I felt so comfortable talking to all the ladies in the office, the case workers, and the IPs. I gave birth on May 1st 2020, in the middle of a pandemic and everyone made sure I was taken care of. My caseworker Karina made sure to provide extra masks if i needed them was definitely the key to making sure our delivery went perfect. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with everyone at SPS. They helped us find the perfect surrogate that lived near us and shared our needs and values. SPS stuck with us and supported both my family and our surrogate’s family, through a lengthy legal battle with the FDA to transfer embryos from AZ to CA. Even after our son was born, we were contacted and supported with the whole experience and we are eternally grateful for everyone at SPS.

I was a surrogate originally in 1995 after interviewing multiple agencies. Christi and her team are family oriented and dedicated not only to the surrogate, but to the parents as well. I had 4 successful pregnancies and delivered 4 beautiful children who are now adults. I highly recommend SPS.

I love them !! I became a surrogate through a friend and a little scared at the beginning of the process, lucky the entire team was there for me. They were great in walking me through the process and well in explaining what would come next. I received great support from both intended parents and agency. SPS is an amazing agency; they make one feel welcome and at home. From the very beginning when talking to Christie and meeting her, I wanted to move forward with her and her team in becoming a surrogate mother. We have four beautiful children because of SPS and Cristie Montgomery. We had three successful IVFs and two failed (which is pretty good odds in the world of IVF). Our first successful IVF was twins (boy and girl), the second was a girl, and the third was a boy. All are healthy and we had the smoothest experience possible (thanks to our WONDERFUL & AWESOME surrogate for all three pregnancies, Jessica!). I went to this agency for my first surrogacy because I have a friend whom delivered a couple times for them and had good experiences. In my case, everything that could go wrong, WENT WRONG! The staff was very attentive and kind, but when it came to proper disclosures of intended parents medical background, they did not take the necessary steps to ensure they were ready for a second try at having a baby. Intended parents had a previous failed pregnancy with another surrogate due to genetic disorders. I had no idea of this. You'd think the agency would have done a little more digging to keep their surrogates safe, but instead, they paired them with me shortly after not really knowing the damage they would cause me. I had a miscarriage of one of two embryos transferred , which I was blamed and yelled at for. I underwent a Amniocentesis, with bad results at 16 weeks. After sometimes of back and forth Dr appts, and missing work for their convenience and most importantly the sake of the babies health, the parents decided they wanted to terminate at 23 weeks. I underwent termination of the pregnancy performed by resident Drs. and suffered a hemorrhage during surgery and needed a blood transfusion. I was put on ventilators to keep me alive. None one came to see me. Not a single person from the agency nor the indented parents. Aside form al the emotional and mental depression I underwent, they didn't seem sincere in their so called support. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE,.. please do your research, because they wont do it for you. I felt like a dollar sign, a number to say the least. SAD!…

If you don’t mind a very HEAVILy involved agency. When I say very involved , they attend most if not all your appointments with you. They are there during delivery. They are involved in contract negotiations (they barely allow any changes). They don’t allow you to submit reimbursements to escrow, they submit for you. They don’t have payments on automatic pay, they submit payments each month for escrow to pay you including all comp payments. They were always there to answer any questions. They did a great job at matching and matched quickly. Their compensation is on the higher end.…
