I am very happy to write a review about United Surrogacy. We completed our journey as IP’s almost 2 months ago when our son was born on June 7th, 2022. I will start with the conclusion; they are excellent! We are a same-sex male couple living in Germany. I am American and my husband is from Spain. We started this process back in February 2021 working with a fertility clinic. While we were going through the early stages of the fertility aspect of surrogacy (egg donor selection, personal health screenings, etc.). We had originally wanted to consider an independent journey as affordability was quite a stumbling block for us. We however were open to an agency if we could make it work from a cost perspective. We spent about 2 months speaking to agencies and either they very expensive or if they were affordable I would start to research and find that they were not reputable with very bad online reviews. For whatever reason we came across United Surrogacy towards the end of our research (I don’t think they do much marketing and kind of go under the radar as an agency). We had a first intro meeting with the owner towards the end of March 2021. There was pretty much an instant connection, and it was very clear these ladies know what they are doing, are transparent in their approach and are there to guide you thru this process while constantly giving you the good, bad and the ugly of whatever choices you make as an IP. When we got off the phone with them my intuition told me “This is the agency!” however, I did not let my intuition guide me. I spoke to my clinic, started joining social media groups, did some google research and it was clear I had found the best of the best in this category of agencies (I guess we could call them a boutique agency). After my husband and I agreed to move forward with United I wanted to give them money, so they take me seriously. They would not take a dime from us until we were matched (this says a lot about these ladies!). Literally within 2 weeks they had a match for us (this was our experience at the time, and I have no idea what match times look like now). A surrogate that happened to live 10 minutes from our clinic that had done a journey with them 1 year prior and happened to meet all of our match requirements had just called them and was ready for a second journey. The timing here worked out perfectly because we had just arrived at the clinic to give the sperm sample and were about a month away from having embryos. We first had a video match meeting with our surrogate and agency, as we were in Utah (the state where our clinic is and where are surrogate is based) we were also able to meet our surrogate face to face, Without going into too much detail we all quickly agreed to move forward! We went ahead with contracts, setting up escrow, insurance, etc. United helped with all of this by not just telling me what to do but giving me options and letting us decide what works best for us. Like a lot a journeys, it was not smooth. We had a failed transfer in late July 2021, our clinic was so busy they were very slow in responding to inquiries and lots of ups and downs throughout. The ladies at United were always available and quick to reply, if they didn’t know something they would tell me they didn’t know however they would try to put me in the right direction. Really top notch! After the failed transfer we opted to do ERA and went to the second transfer in late September of 2021. This one took! What gets so lost in surrogacy when talking about agencies is there is so much more support needed than just matching. It’s the contracts, it’s the insurance, its questions about the pregnancy itself, a birth plan, situations that arise that you are not comfortable talking about directly with your surrogate, even stuff that comes up after birth. United was there for everything! These ladies are in it because they care and this becomes super clear when working with them. I now conclude where I began. Excellent agency and highly recommended!…
What a lovely experience! We are incredibly grateful for our experience with United Surrogacy. Jen and Alexis, our coordinator, were amazing. They were supportive, responsive, and genuinely kind. They answered every question quickly and ensured we had the information we needed. They even helped navigate US formalities we for sure would have struggled with on our own. A simple question about a car seat or mattress often turned into a delivery straight to our door, always with a smile. They provided what we needed before we even knew we needed it. We are already looking forward to coming back for our next chapter: a sibling journey.…

United also did a wonderful job walking us through the whole surrogacy process with ease. They explained things in detail, took time to answer all of our questions, and made everything so much less stressful/overwhelming. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone - even if you’re not in state!

WITHOUT PREJUDICE Would give - MINUS stars if possible. This is a review as IP's (ex Intended, post process with this company, thank god). We would not recommend working with them AT ALL. In our opinion and from our own experience, these women don't advocate for intended parents. We felt they were difficult to deal with, were often very insensitive and seemed to us like they went behind our back and worked against us on occasions , and often felt like they were creating a rift between our GC and ourselves. We didn't feel they were professional enough to deal with the magnitude of this process and had an overall really bad experience with them spreading over a course of 3 years. Looking back, it was a mistake signing with them. Awful interpersonal relationship skills (or lack thereof)and zero understanding of what IP stand for or need. DO NOT RECOMMEND…
This agency is the best! The ladies and support you get as a surrogate is unmatched. I was with another agency previously and I did not enjoy anything about them. I have done 2 journeys with this agency and working on my 3rd. I am very happy I found this agency and have made some great friends along the way.
I was a surrogate twice with United Surrogacy. They make the experience feel more like family than business. They have a fast response time with any questions/concerns. I’ve spoken with the coordinator several times after hours (because of work schedules) and she was always so friendly and accommodating even though I was taking time away from her personal life. They handled everything down to the little details. They are a smaller operation but don’t let that scare you, they are very hands on when needed/wanted. They are not constantly changing staff so you get to know the people that will be your support during the journey. All of my payments (through escrow) were paid on time. The doctor/hospital bills were paid in a timely manner. Jen (the owner) would call or text often to check on me and make sure everything was going well. She even shipped me maternity clothes that she had at her expense . They are all sweethearts! They have a private group so we all got to know each other. I highly recommend this agency! You are not just a number to them. You become part of the family and have an amazing support system!…
Jen and her team were amazing!! This was my second journey and the experience with them was far superior to the previous I had. They were with me every step of the way and helped calm any nerves and answer any questions I had. They helped me match with two of the most perfect IP’s and I know they helped them just as much. I would highly highly recommend going with United Surrogacy as your agency if you’re looking into surrogacy as an option to extend your family. You will not regret it at all.

Throughout my time with United Surrogacy- they have been nothing short of amazing. They have made the travel, transfer, and paperwork SO easy. If I were to do another journey- i would 100% go through them again. SO thankful for the attention to detail they have given me throughout my journey (over a year, due to no fault of them). They really are there for you, which is a huge bonus with something as amazing as this.
I am a carrier that completed my journey with United in June and I could not be happier with my agency. I spent a few months researching agencies, and I actually settled on United because of the amazing women running the agency. They’re compassionate, knowledgeable, supportive and most importantly ethical. Even though I spent about a year doing research on my own, they always made sure to educate as much as possible and always made sure decisions were well informed. Of course separate lawyers were used as well as 3rd party escrow. What I loved was that their involvement was as much or as little as I needed. There was times when I could message them at any day or night and they’d be there for me and times when I didn’t need hand holding and they gave me my space. Some other carriers want them at transfer or delivery and they’re there, and in my case I liked it being just my IFs, husband and me. They never pushed anything I didn’t want, and they were there for anything I needed. A big thing for me as well, they have some of the lowest agency fees I’ve seen. That was important because I hate seeing some IPs get taken advantage of. United truly cares about everyone and strives to make sure it’s fair for carriers and IPs. I can’t say enough good things about them. If have another journey I will without a doubt use United again.…
If you are either a surrogate or an intended parent, United is the first agency that I have encountered that puts both roles as equally important. They seek to foster a sense of community and family. This is truly where they shine and stand above the rest. There is a real sense of love, friendship, and importance for every person that they work with. They will be there for you in any capacity that you need them to be. They are funny, real, experienced, and knowledgeable.
All of the women I've worked with in this company have been phenomenal in helping me become a surrogate. My family is my passion, and to be part of the process for another to build their family and their passion is incredible! They are attentive to details, prompt and concise in their communication, and above all they pour their passion into their work. There are many, many good agencies out there! Don’t let the bad experience M, J & H caused leave a bad impression on you. Search the group, do some extensive research and trust your gut. Unfortunately, your experience with SC will be able to help you easily navigate some red flags or things you do not want to experience again. I’m currently working on my third journey with United Surrogacy. In the beginning I was sooo very hesitant because of my experience with SC, but I can truly say they have exceeded my expectations. Jen, Lindsey and Kaylea have been sooo wonderful in comforting and reassuring me through the process. Great communication, I don’t have to beg for a follow up, they don’t get annoyed by my million and one questions (even as a 2xer). The support feels unrecognizable honestly.
