I had a very positive experience with Dr. Kort and all of the staff at Neway. Everyone was kind, knowledgable, approachable, easy to reach, and helpful. I always felt that I was treated as a human being, that they cared about not just my outcome but my experience, and that all of my questions were answered thoroughly and with transparency. I have already recommended this practice to several friends. Only negative is that their billing division is always about 6 months behind, but that did not matter to me.

These people are most unorganized bunch. They didn’t confirm my appointment after couple of days from zocdoc. On day of appointment finally I called them they told me I have to reschedule it because they need to call insurance. However they told me I can send insurance and they will call me if I can come in. They never did. Called many times and phone kept going to voicemail. If you cant keep up with zocdoc why do you even use it ?

All the staff was very attentive to me, everyone supported and sincerely interested in how everything goes. And I got a long-awaited pregnancy ?)))) I am happy and I recommend this clinic to everyone, all highly qualified doctors and nurses! The price of the procedure was cheaper than in many clinics. I wish you all the fulfillment of your dreams !!! Good luck girls !!! ?

I was days away from turning 40 when my Gyn recommended Dr. Kort. I’m a Educator and a little bit of a ‘late bloomer’ in the love department! Taking care of children all day can be difficult when you are unsure if you’ll have your own. Within our first few meetings, Dr. Kort and I were able to discuss options available considering my follicle count, AMH levels, age, overall health, and prior surgical history. I digested the information and waited a couple months for the school year to end before beginning my first egg freezing cycle. The cycle was highly successful, but I am making a choice to freeze another cycle to improve my odds of having a child. I was grateful that Dr. Kort (and all the staff) provided guidance and established realistic expectations! My sister- a 30 year RN- accompanied me to my retrieval and continues to rave about the level of care and professionalism demonstrated by the staff!Best investment I ever made!

I can't say enough good things about Neway. Every person who supported us through the journey was caring, professional, patient and kind. We worked with Dr. Daniel Kort – he is the BEST. He put up with so much from me – anxiety, constant questions and a lot of calls. We are so grateful to now be 11 weeks pregnant. I saw Dr. Zimmerman a few times too and he was also great – so kind and took the time to really talk us through things. The nurses are equally lovely. Overall, a great boutique facility where you feel like a HUMAN and not a number.

I am more than happy to leave a review for Neway Fertility. As a woman, the concept of freezing eggs can be a very scary and vulnerable process, but Dr. Kort and his nursing staff could not have been more supportive. I'll admit, I expected in the consultation to feel 'pressured' to do this, but Dr. Kort was not pushy in any sense of the word. He answered all of my answers thoroughly and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would encourage any woman who is even slightly considering this process to make an appointment with Dr. Kort and his staff to explore her options. The nurses are so hands on, you really feel you have a supportive comrade beside you, even at home. I was so impressed with their professionalism, it made me even consider going into the nursing field!!

My husband and I went to Neway for about 10 months, doing active cycles for about 8 of them, and were very happy with our experience. From the very beginning, it was clear that Dr. Zimmermann knows this area very well, and always took time to explain the biology and science behind his recommendations. He always allowed time for questions and answered them thoroughly, and was sensitive to the emotional nature of this whole process. The front desk staff and nurses are really sweet, and were always promptly available via phone or email to answer any questions.

I'm expecting a baby boy in 8 weeks!! Thanks to Dr. Zimmermann in Neway Fertility! Dr. Zimmermann is an incredible doctor. He takes time for you and discuss the procedure, result, and the next strategy in details. I've had 2 different infertility doctor before him, but he was really the best. The wait time is reasonable at the clinic. The facility and the operations are smooth, so you feel everything is coordinated well. The staff is very friendly, too. In the middle of the process, I moved to midtown east, but I still kept going to this clinic, and it was totally worth it. If you need help on infertility, this is the place to go!

At 39 years old and after several years trying to conceive naturally, my husband and I decided to get help with a fertility clinic.Based on a friend's recommendations, we went to Neway fertility clinic (123 W. 79th St, New York, NY 10024).Immediately I felt confident that we made the right choice as the whole staff: nurses, doctors (Dr Zimmermann and Dr Kort), assistants… was extremely professional and nice. After several exams, Dr Zimmermann suggested to try an IUI (intrauterine insemination). The procedure went very well and after a first try I got pregnant with twins! I am now 15 weeks pregnant, extremely happy with 2 healthy babies.I really wanted to share my experience online with this clinic as the service was simply perfect.I highly recommend this clinic to any woman who is looking for help to conceive.Julie – NYC – 39 years old – French

Neway Fertility is unprofessional, disorganized and not recommended. DO NOT go here. I wish we would have spent our money at another clinic. We unsuccessfully attempted IVF treatments for over a year. While Dr. Nejat (no longer there) and many of the nurses (some no longer there) were wonderful to work with, the clinic is a nightmare with regards to billing and record keeping.During the course of our treatments, they kept sending us co-insurance bills, despite the fact that we paid an agreed upon amount, out of pocket since insurance only covered bloodwork. I had to call them every time to remind them that coinsurance was waived. They did waive it, but it was aggravating to have to keep following up. When we decided to stop treatments, we were never told that we had an extra vial of sperm in storage. Apparently during one of the procedures, they were able to use one vial instead of two. No one ever told us which is pretty upsetting considering we may have tried again so as not to waste it, or perhaps we would have donated to someone else. In January of 2017, I asked for copies of my bills for tax purposes and received a $0 balance. A couple of months after, we receive a letter from the clinic touching base and congratulating us on the birth of our baby, asking whether it was a girl or boy. You can imagine how upsetting this was for two reasons a) we were never successful and b) what kind of records do they keep? We responded and did receive a call from Dr. Nejat apologizing. The director of the lab however, just sent a quick note say apologies for the mistake. Fast forward to August of 2017 and I received a bill for $600, along with some coinsurance bills, for sperm storage! I was understandably upset and I had to forward them all of my back up to fight to not have to pay the $600. It took over 2 weeks to get this resolved and nothing additional was done for my time and the inconvenience. I asked for further compensation and I never heard back. This clinic is ridiculous and I recommend going elsewhere.

This is my favorite clinic I’ve ever been to. I wish they were also my OB. Infertility is terrible, but I loved going here. I saw Dr. Nejat and Dr. Zimmermann and had a great experience. They spend much time with you, listen, explain the science, and plan a course of action with you. The staff and nurses are terrific. They all knew my name and I knew them. Short to no wait times. Doctors easy to access (on call and email). I felt special going there and so lucky to receive such cutting edge treatment. They accept my insurance. My advice is to communicate early and often with billing and your insurance – we even got one procedure covered that originally my insurance wouldn’t pay for because billing made a case on my behalf. Make sure outside providers (genetics lab, pharmacy) take your insurance – communicate beforehand and Neway will select a provider that takes your insurance. We are so fortunate to have a baby due this Spring, and we can’t wait to go back and celebrate with everyone at Neway!

UPDATE: About two years have passed since my last review. I switched my frozen sperm from Neway fertility to a new lab since Dr. Nejat was no longer with their office. In my new clinic I started IVF medications confident that we had "a lot of healthy sperm". After all we've been storing it with Neway for 2 years. When it was time to thaw the sperm there was nothing, NOTHING!! No one can give a clear explanation on how two reports for the same vials come be completely different. This is one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. It was a waste of money $15,000 on a Micro TESE and a complete waste of time 2 years freezing nothing $2000 in fees. I have attached a copy of both reports.

My partner and I had been trying to conceive for almost 2 years when we decided to seek fertility treatment. We were both reluctant to seek help since we wanted things to happen naturally, but stepping into Neway and speaking with Dr.Kort I felt reassured. Dr.Kort's calm demeanor didn't make us feel like we had a problem, he talked to us about our history and our concerns and was willing to do as much or as little as we were comfortable with. My biggest fear was feeling pushed into something I wasn't comfortable with, but he made us feel nothing but comfortable with the process the whole time. I strongly recommend Dr.Kort for anyone who is apprehensive about the process and is looking for a calm reassuring doctor.

The previous doctors, Dr Luk and Nejat, were great, but have both left and are at another practice (together!) now.  The nursing and phlebotomy staff had crazy turnovers (which is definitely a red flag for me).  My main complaint is with the incompetence of billing.  I had so many billing issues during treatment with errors and mistakes and receptionists telling me that I had a balance (when I didn't) and asking me to pay it (they even had to refund me money for their error at least once).  Before I left, I confirmed 1000x that I didn't have a balance and now 7 months later, I get a bill.  If you come here, be prepared to be on top of all the billing and ready to fight.

Dr. Luk was fantastic. She created a plan that was perfect for us. She discussed all of our options and started with the least invasive and least expensive ones. She coached us through the process and I never doubted her investment in our success or knowledge of our needs and case. She went above and beyond in talking us through steps to take after my miscarriage and corrected an issue created by another doctor who performed a D and C. She got me set up to try again as soon as I was ready. The staff was compassionate and personable and always made me feel at home. We conceived our beautiful daughter earlier this year through Dr. Luk's interventions. We are very thankful to her and the staff at Neway. Anyone who has her as a doctor is very fortunate indeed.

I looking to get neway’s number again so that I can come in to try for baby #2, and noticed that they only have 3.7 stars, and felt the need to add my review. After 5 years of “trying”, 5 rounds of IUI (unsuccessful), and dealing with 4 different fertility clinics, I ended up at neway from the recommendation of Dr. Sammy David, an RE who wrote a great book about taking a more natural approach to treating infertility and doing IVF. Dr. Luk was extremely kind, very intelligent, and treated my case very individually. She also had a good sense of humor, and for me this was really refreshing. Dr. Nejat was so calm and kind and also a pleasure to work with. My review is 5 stars not just because my first round of IVF was successful, although that does probably help my warm fuzzy feeling towards them. The main reason my review is 5 stars is because I was treated like a human, and like an individual, and Dr. Luk took my input very seriously in devising an individualized plan for my first round of IVF. After going to 4 other clinics, no one was as willing as Dr. Luk to really look at my history and listen to me, the patient, and help devise a plan that ultimately worked. I have a beautiful 9 month old baby now, and neway to thank! I will absolutely be back, despite the 1.5 hour drive through traffic, to try for #2.

Dr. Luk and Dr. Nejat are incredibly good, friendly and real people. The nurses, all of them – especially the nurse who monitors blood every morning, and Marlene – are fantastic and loving. This process could have been terrifying, and embarrassing, but the people, the atmosphere, the music makes it feel more human and un-hospital-like than anything you’ll find.I just had my egg retrieval this morning, and am happy with the results that came fro low stimulation treatment that was tailored to my body. This is worst clinic and worst doctor ever. My experience with this clinic is very bad. In the initial years of their existence they might be better and I went there with that expectations by seeing the reviews. After seeing the doctor they do not respond for months, they don't even respond to emails. Can donor wait so long? eventually after several months of wait they decline by saying they have staff shortages. Their license must be revoked and insurance funding should be cancelled. If they have staff shortages why at all they should see the patient with consultation fees, semen tests and flight charges/hotel and taking off one day from work to visit them. Dr. Luk is the most awkward and worst Doctor I have ever seen. She has no ethics. They even say they want to transfer some patients to other clinics, is that a Chinese pubic health care system that they transfer patients to other clinics. Again the whole process begins, you have to fly again to NYC stay in hotel and pay for the consultation charges etc. They took $200/- dollars for semen testing more than 3 months ago and said the sample is not that bad but when I requested them to send a copy of the semen analysis, no response even after 4 months, this speaks their awkwardness. It might happen to you. Same is the case with IRMS, New Jersey. Neway has no concern to patients situation and do not give any response to requests. They think everyone in this world make money the way they make by cheating others. No remorse, no sympathy to a patient's concerns. They have special rules to harass patients. They keep laying off their staff and delaying procedures and even declining some patients without a valid reason. Probably they are very selective of patients and that could be reason for their initial success, if at all. Poorly qualified staff. I was told apply lubricant during ejaculation to collect sample. We all know that is very wrong procedure. They keep everything under dark and cause annoyance and make us keep visiting them multiple times. Avoid this clinic its quality is going down  in the last two years and worse now. They do not answer to our questions or concerns but keep demanding to repeat procedures with them at very high rates. The real problem is group insurance provided by companies covers most of the fertility services including IVF there by benefiting this type of clinics, so people do not mind if the same procedure is repeated many times and their insurance company covers it. I am writing to President of USA and wish all of you to same not to allow insurance cover fertility services, then most of these fake fertility clinics which deliberate complicate the process to cash innocent patients. Companies covering IVF costs for their employees is providing tax free benefits to them. If employees pay for these services after tax on their won, this type of fertility clinics will rot. Trump will definitely want to restrict medical insurance to only critical health service not to fertility doing so US government will save billions of dollars lost taxes due to companies showing these services as expenses rather than taxable income. Even if some companies pay taxes then provide benefits that should be illegal because corporate taxes are always lower than personal taxes. Paying taxes to government for their employees should be illegal. This is necessary to reduce this type of arrogant, irresponsible, awkward fertility services. I am surprised to see they are still in business with this type of services.

Worst ever. Gross incompetence. A primary task of a fertility clinic is to determine when a woman is ovulating. They can't even do that right. It also takes 7-10 days to get physical copies of test results when said results are sitting in their office.Only go here if you are serious about torturing you and/or your wife. Our story:It's been a year since my first consultation with Dr. Luk. Along the way, I've been through 3 IUIs, 1 hysteroscopy, 3 egg retrievals, 4 transfers and finally, I'm pregnant! It's the best gift to my husband for our 10th anniversary. Except consultation at NYU Langone Center, I did not go to other facilities for any treatment. Before my last transfer, I brought my medical history to Dr. Fino at NYU Langone for the second opinion, she said Dr. Luk did everything right and herself would go through the same protocol. Thank god, I had faith in Dr. Luk and now we are successful.About Dr. Luk:Dr. Luk is more than knowledgeable, enthusiastic, informative, and caring. At the time I was looking for a fertility center, I was told that new patient consultation can only be scheduled during the business day which is true at many facilities. However, I told the nurse, Ms. Qing Lin, that I can only visit the clinic on the weekend and I do not want the treatment to be so disturbing  that I have to ask for sick leave from time to time. It turned out Dr. Luk was so accommodating and made her effort to see us on a Saturday morning. Since I've never been through IVF treatment before, Dr. Luk explained everything that I am interested to know patiently. The reason that I had 3 retrievals but only 4 transfers is because of my low AMH. I was almost hit down by the second failure as the grade of the embryos transferred were pretty good. Dr. Luk is always positive. She said I should be pregnant under her care even though she cannot explain the failures. To find out the reason, she recommended PGD. I was almost ready to invest roughly $5,000 on PGD to either succeed faster with high-tech embryo selection or free myself from hopeless torture. Interestingly, there were only handful good embryos left for PGD on Day 5. After discussion with Dr. Luk, we decided to let the body test other than doing PGD. Seems our decision was rational and right, we saved money and the embryo from possible damage from testing.About staff:The staff at Neway is amazingly friendly, helpful and kind. Thanks to Alexandra's best wishes on my last transfer. Thanks to Rachel, Rose, Ana, and all the nurses who helped me to ensure prescription was sent to the right pharmacy, pre-authorizations were secured in time. A big thank you to Cynthia at billing department, without her effortless communication with Aetna, my ICSI wouldn't be approved and that single treatment would cost us $1,500.About environment:Their new office is nice, close to Subway. Seems they are having more patients these days. Smart choice, guys. Good luck to everyone!

I am so thankful for the service we have received at this clinic. Dr. Luk and Netjat are not only extremely qualified, but very caring and kind. The nurses and the rest of the staff are also great. We are still trying to conceive, but whatever the outcome is I would recommend this clinic 100%.

I don’t have a enough kind words for Dr Luk and Neway. It was a little rough intially. I will attribute that to the practice going through some growing pains. However, Dr Luk was always attentive and available and made my wife and I feel like we were her only patients. The staff provided us with adequate service and finance options. But even if we were not successful in our fertility attempts I would recommend Neway to anyone looking for individual care through their fertility journey.

2 hour wait for monitoring!! Insane!!! The billing department is also a complete disaster. They keep billing for things I already paid for and they have no idea how to bill to insurance. Make sure you keep all your payment records.

Have been with this clinic for 2 months now and I love it!. Doctors are supportive, patient and very approachable. Nurses are reachable and really nice. Going thru infertility is a hard enough process, and the staff at Neway has been amazing!. Its a smaller practice rather than the bigger factory like setting at Columbia ( columbus circle).

this clinic staff is rude and need more human relationships with their patients, they do not follow up patients and get upset when you remember that it does not belong. 3 months treating me and They don’t given me a good service. I prefer to start elsewhere to return here

Because of Dr. Luk and Dr. Nejat we have a month old baby. Staff is amazing. They were very attentive and available all the time. I used to go to Midtown location.

Neway fertility is great! I have been coming here for around 6 months so far. I LOVE Dr. Luk! She is such a wonderful doctor and I'm so happy I found her. She really cares about her patients and is so positive and super knowledgable. I have seen Dr. Nejat a few times too and he is awesome as well. At Neway they make you feel like you are family there. The nurses are amazing and are there for you always and so hard working. (especially Rose who I adore!) The whole staff is great too! You will get the results you want coming here because they have the best specialists and nurses caring for you. I would highly recommend going here. You won't be disappointed.

After Dr. Hade left the practice took a toll for the worse they’re in competition with new hope but little to they know they’re just like new hope all because of Dr Luk she worked there as I was previously their patient. She has no bedside manner I doubt she cares for her patents shes more interested in patient volume. I did have the pleasure of meeting with Dr Nejat instead and thankfully he’s more pleasant and goes the extra mile to make you feel at ease which is encouraging. As far as the staff they all look unhappy they’re very nice but you could see something is wrong

Went there to get a consultation with my wife and we had the worse experience. My wife is not fluent in English so the doctor asked a Korean nurse to come in and translate for her. From the beginning she was very pessimistic towards us and specially my wife. The reason we went for a consultation is because we were having issues keeping pregnancy and yes, my wife’s age is a factor too.But when you have a nurse look at you like there’s no way there’s going to be any success with IVF or any other method, its just wrong. The nurse kept repeating to us saying how my wife’s age was a big factor and telling was there’s only a very slim chance to none for having a success IVF.They have to understand that IVF patients are very sensitive and emotional at this stage of their lives. To have a nurse discourage you so much that you don’t want to ever go back to that office, tells how sensitive they are. I do not blame the doctor but I do blame the establishment for not taking care of this matter and something should be done, either educate the nurse or fire her. Even the doctor wasn’t saying anything negative until telling us, with more tests we should know our situation. But who is this nurse or whatever she is to keep telling us that my wife’s age is almost impossible for a successful IVF. She even came to us when we were doing blood work and said once again to my wife, “because of your age” this and that.My wife was certain about one thing and its to not go back to this place, mainly because of that Korean nurse who should just stick to here work and translate what the doctor says and not give her uneducated opinion.

Most amazing Dr and staff I have ever met I love it here I fly all the way from North Carolina just to see Dr. Hade. He is real and straight to the point and his only goal is to make your dreams come true any way he can!!!
