The intake coordinator was able to answer all my questions and made me feel very comfortable and shared more about her experience as well. I matched with my IP's quickly and we both happened to live in the same city which made the experience so much more enjoyable. The intended mother was able to attend almost all my appointments which allowed us to build a deeper relationship. From the very beginning, they walked me through every step of the journey, making what once felt like a distant dream into a reality. I’ve always wanted to become a surrogate, but I never leaped—until this amazing company appeared during one of my searches. What stood out to me the most was that nearly everyone I interacted with had some personal connection to surrogacy. It made a huge difference to speak with people who truly understood the emotional, physical, and spiritual layers of this journey. I especially want to thank Elizabeth, my case manager. Without her, I truly don’t think my experience would have been as smooth or as supported. She always gave me realistic expectations, which I appreciated more than anything. I’d rather be prepared than surprised, and she ensured I was informed every step of the way. She was always there for me, whether it was in the middle of the day or late at night, she responded quickly and compassionately. She even helped ease my fear of needles, which says a lot! I was adopted at the age of 5. My parents couldn’t have their own children and, if it wasn’t for adoption, they wouldn’t have us. I’ve always looked up to them and what they did for us and how they gave us a family. I, in turn, wanted to be able to do that for someone else in my own way. I saw a post on Facebook about becoming a surragote and I knew it was meant for me! I inquired about it and met my amazing coordinator! Elizabeth helped me with any questions I had. The matching process was super easy, med screening was a breeze. I did have a bit longer of a journey than most due a few things. I had international Ips and some things like legal etc took a bit longer than anticipated. My case manager assured me throughout the whole process. I had my first transfer at the beginning of 2024 which sadly ended in miscarriage around 9 1/2 weeks. My case manager was there for me during that time and was always encouraging throughout my messages. After a few months we finally had our second transfer which led to baby girl this past July. Meeting my IPs and seeing their joy with their new baby confirmed I made the right decision to become a surragote and I appreciate surragote first for making the journey amazing! Can’t wait for journey number 2!…
Guadalupe FloresDec 2024SurrogateSurrogacy was something I had always hoped to be able to do, and thankfully I did, I have been blessed to have delivered 2 healthy babies, one in 2022 and a second this year. To be honest my first experience was beautiful, my IPs were domestic and my case manager helped me with anything I needed every step of the way, any concerns I had were addressed in a timely manner and I never felt as a bother to anyone, my Ips were always updated on time by me and my case manager. This time around it was a different experience my overall pregnancy went well, though I did deliver a week early, my Ips were international and my case manager wasn't easy to reach, especially on weekends unless I were to have an emergency she wouldn't be able to be reached till Mondays, I thankfully was able to start communicating with my IPs directly which in turn took out the middle man for them but that just made me have to communicate the same things again to my case manager, I turned my bills (mileage, lost wages, unpaid bills, milk pumping fees) directly to escrow myself even if I reached out for help I was told someone at escrow would help instead, luckily the ladies in charge of my escrow were indeed very helpful, it felt more like a job the way communication was kept up only during important steps in the surrogacy process (ultrasound, first trimester, second, third and close to delivery). Unlike randomly throughout my first experience just to make me feel more like this isn't just about putting stuff down on paper, its about growing a little human inside you, sharing the process of that with the parents so they can experience and deal with the process the same way you do, it's about doing this journey together. I have loved being able to do this for these families, they are what makes the sacrifice of pregnancy worth it all, I have always loved being pregnant it's a beautiful yet difficult experience, from morning sickness to Braxton hicks, seeing the parents hold their baby for the first time is indescribable, to be part of surrogate first has been an overall wonderful experience.…

Our experience with SurrogateFirst went smoothly, and we were blessed with the most beautiful gift of our lives. However, we were not satisfied with the service provided by our Case Manager. The number of interactions we had throughout the process was very limited. As international parents without U.S. insurance, the Case Manager initially assured us that as cash payers, she could help negotiate up to 80% off our medical bills. In the end, we were left to handle the bills ourselves. Additionally, during the few phone meetings we had, the Case Manager did not follow through on answering our questions or providing updates as promised. We hope that SurrogateFirst can enhance the training of Case Managers to ensure that intended parents feel supported and reassured, which would positively impact the already tense and complex surrogacy process. Nevertheless, their leadership has demonstrated a more positive and professional approach, and we have decided to move forward with a sibling journey with SurrogateFirst.…

I have been asked to write a review for SurrogateFirst. I have spent a lot of time on this and have been quite thoughtful with this as I am wanting to be honest about my experience. I feel that I had a different experience than many of the other surrogates who worked with SurrogateFirst. That being said, the end result was the most beautiful life experience I could have ever imagined. My journey was quite long (23 months) from beginning to end with a total of 3 embryo transfers. At the beginning of the process, there were naturally many questions and during that time I felt that the agency walked me through every step of the way. Matching with my IP’s was quite easy. The travel for medical screening was smooth and even the legal process didn’t seem terrible. Things seemed different once I started the transfer process. I never felt I connected with either of my case managers (my first one left the agency after my second transfer) the way that other surrogates described their relationships. I always seemed to feel like an “after-thought” and often felt that they were too busy for me. After the 2 unsuccessful transfers I felt very alone and unsupported, which was very difficult. When the third transfer was successful and the pregnancy progressed, I was often disappointed in how often they reached out to me to check in with me. I was thankful the pregnancy went very smoothly and there were no complications. With all of this being said, SurrogateFirst is NOT a bad agency to work with. I had different expectations based on what other surrogates seemed to experience as they were going through the same thing at the same time I was. The IP’s fertility clinic was amazing and my intended parents were so loving, caring and supportive throughout the entire process. I don’t regret deciding to become a surrogate and, because of the end result, I wouldn’t have changed anything. I have been truly blessed by this journey and now the most beautiful little girl is here, her sweet family is over-the-moon in love with her, and my heart is overflowing.…

We did get the best gift we could ever have asked for so the end result was achieved. Was the experience simple and joyous? Absolutely not. Surrogate First is just that...about the Surrogate First. Not that we minded giving our surrogate everything she needed, but with SF, the IPs are secondary and there to pay the bills. The way things were handled just added to the frustration and lack of trust. The kicker... Having gone through every IVF scenario on our own, we knew the ins and outs of it all...our Case Manager who without understanding terminology mistakenly led us to believe our surrogate miscarried. It wasn't intentional, but when you're in this situation, your heart stops when you read that in a charge. Instead of apologies there was back pedaling and all about CYA. Just had our first born in June! The whole journey was very smooth and happy:) Lina and Stephine are professional. They respond to our questions really fast. They led us through each step from IVF to surrogacy with patience and care.
I just completed my first journey with surrogate first! I would say from start to finish it was an amazing experience. The communication was always on point and that’s big for me. The sweet little gifts and texts my case manager would send me always brightened my days! I got matched with an amazing family and got to birth a beautiful boy for them. They always took the time to explain anything and talk with me. I think both party’s surrogate and IPs always get treated amazing. I loved my first journey so much I have already resigned with the agency to start a 2nd one in 2025!
I completed a journey with SurrogateFirst in July 2023. I am early in my second journey and I am so glad I stayed with SurrogateFirst. Lawyers and escrow are third party, case managers are experienced surrogates, and screening is thorough but easy to navigate. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a smaller, experienced agency.

Going to SurrogateFirst for my 3rd surrogacy journey was the best decision I made. All communication, sweet gifts, updates- were constant through the journey. My ips and I couldn't have asked for a better journey. I felt so comfortable with the entire process and just loved the way we felt like family with Surrogatefirst. It is rare to find a company that actually cares and doesn't treat you as a number. Definitely recommend them for anyone considering their own journey.

I would definitely not recommend this agency. They are suspicious, unprofessional and rude. When I ask for more details regarding the pre-screening process of surrogates, they don't answer and ask me to go to other agency. Every agency claims to have a thorough vet on surrogates. But some of them actually haven't and they try to hide something from you. SurrogateFirst is one of them. What's more, they have pretty fast matching time which is strange to me. Because there are far more intended parents than surrogates and most agencies have a long wait list. Not screening the surrogates might be the secret of the fast matching time. They also have a VIP program which is to pay them extra 10K just to match quickly. This is not ethical and a red flag. They target Chinese clients who know nothing about US and cannot speak English fluently so they have to believe whatever you tell them. It's a very shady strategy.…
