In 2018, I was 35 years old and had already endured a long journey through multiple miscarriages and a cancer diagnosis that left me unable to carry a pregnancy. My medical team recommended surrogacy as the safest way to have the child we had so desperately longed for. My husband and I did a speedy IVF cycle to freeze embryos before I began chemotherapy. After I finished cancer treatment and took another year to heal, I researched and interviewed several surrogacy agencies, hoping to begin our journey as I was approaching my 40s. Some agencies I spoke to felt disturbingly rigid and business-focused as opposed to those (like Genesis) who were much more warm and personable. This was a non-negotiable for us, we needed an agency that we could trust with such a precious experience, an agency who centered the delicate and deeply personal journey of surrogacy, and who didn't make us feel like walking dollar signs. Genesis Group's high ethical standards combined with their kind and caring team made the decision an easy one for us. We began working with Genesis in late 2020, after receiving a grant through a non-profit partner organization which helped us with resources and partially funded our surrogacy journey. The non-profit organization collaborated with Genesis Group to assist us in bringing our long dreamed of baby earthside after so many years of heartbreak. The amazing staff at Genesis guided us through the surrogacy process from day one with care and warmth. They put us in touch with a wonderful fertility clinic, San Diego Fertility Center, who did a wonderful job taking us through the IVF process of our already frozen and stored embryos. As most fertility journeys go, it was a rollercoaster ride at times. Our case worker, Erica, as well as every point of contact at Genesis handled our journey and our fragile hearts with love. They were as invested in our miracle baby as we were, and it showed. Through Genesis, we found our wonderful surrogate who we still keep in touch with more than 5 years after our first meeting. Genesis handled the biggest headaches of the surrogacy process (the administrative stuff, sooo much paperwork!) so that we could focus on the emotional journey. They were always quick to respond to any questions we had and offered clarity along the way, and believe me, we had A LOT of questions. Our Genesis team never made us feel like we were bothering them with our endless questions and concerns. Our amazing surrogate gave birth to our beautiful baby boy in January 2022 at 39 weeks. We are eternally grateful for our journey with Genesis and would work with them again in a heartbeat if we ever decided to do a sibling journey. I want to share my surrogacy journey experience with Genesis, I feel like anyone interested in being a surrogate deserves to have the amazing experience that I did. When I first started my surrogacy journey, I didn’t know where to look or what to ask. I had a friend recommend a surrogacy agency to me. This was the one I ultimately decided to go with, and I’m so glad I did. However, I did do my own reading on surrogacy and wanted to make sure I was choosing the right agency! I called different agencies, and soon learned what I should be asking and what I needed to know to make sure the agency was right for me. The agency I chose has many great reviews, all my continuous questions were handled with complete transparency. I also think it is really awesome that the president of the agency is the co-founder and board member of The SEEDS Organization. From the beginning, I had a clear vision of each step that the surrogacy process entailed and I had immense support throughout my whole journey. Whenever I did feel like I was drowning with all the new information I was taking in as a first time surrogate, my case manager kept me afloat. I had my embryo transfer in the beginning of January 2020. I carried twins through the year of Covid, and though I delivered them a little early, everything was seamlessly arranged and handled with care & support. From having the support of my amazing case manager (and a whole team of dedicated intake coordinators, case managers, and agency owners, to my assigned case manager being there at my medical screening, at my embryo transfer, and when I neared delivery time - there she was waiting for my call to tell her that I was going into labor and continued to show care for me after I delivered. The twins did need NICU time since I delivered a bit early. I would go visit them, have skin to skin contact, and drop off my pumped milk to the nurses. The parent of the babies stayed in an Airbnb for an extended time close by, and my family would go visit with them and I would drop breastmilk off to them. Now, the twins are healthy, happy, and beautiful 3 year olds (almost 4) and I am thankful I receive updates to this day. The family even plans on visiting me later this year. I’ll forever be incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to be their surrogate. They will always have a special place in my heart. Like I said, I was a first time surrogate, and I feel incredibly blessed to have had the experience I did. I highly recommend if you are interested in surrogacy, do your due diligence and research different agencies to make sure you’re choosing the right one. Find what’s important to you. Some may advertise for very high compensation but most GC’s aren’t in this for the compensation alone. Surrogacy is beautiful when done right, compensation isn’t top priority when it comes to something so extraordinary as carrying someone else’s baby for them. Some agencies advertise super high compensation - not only is this unethical but it leave future GC’s with unrealistic expectations. There is more that goes into being a surrogate, and I’m really glad I had the best of the best by my side through my journey.…

Warning to other surrogates, avoid Genesis surrogacy (Jennifer especially)!
Their pricing structure and the way they present donor compensation are completely out of control. They imply that young women can make astronomical amounts—which is misleading and, frankly, not ethical ..just to have them in their agency. The reality is that the only ones truly affected by this system are the intended parents, who bear the financial and emotional burden. Egg donation is a deeply human and sensitive process, yet agencies like this risk turning it into a transactional business, causing unnecessary stress and harm to those trying to start a family. I sincerely hope they reconsider how their practices impact real people, because this very personal service deserves fairness, transparency, and genuine care.…

There are not enough words to describe how incredibly amazing of an agency Genesis Egg Donor & Surrogacy is. Before working with this group, we had dealt with heartbreaking pregnancy loss, and surrogacy was not the journey we ever imagined ourselves embarking on. From start to finish LaVonna and Erica showed us so much care and empathy, made us feel like a priority, and managed our case with the utmost professionalism. They were prompt in letting us know of any issues, and would quickly respond to all of our (many) emails. One of the deciding factors in choosing this group was how well they take care of their surrogates. As much as this process was about us and our family, it was also about the surrogate who was going to give so much of herself for more than 9 months. Genesis treats them with as much respect as they do for intended parents. We were fortunate to be matched with one who we now consider family (LaVonna was so in tune with what we needed and wanted). There were so many moving parts at any given moment during this process and Genesis expertly helped us navigate everything with relative ease. I was doing some research into being a surrogate when I came across the genesis group. It was one of the best decisions I've made. This is the second time I've tried to be a surrogate and I'm so thankful I gave them a chance. My first point of contract was with Alexandra. This review is way overdue! Before I committed to serving others through surrogacy, I took my time to conduct research on the myriad of agencies out there. I knew my search was over when I found Genesis. Each and every one of their case managers as well as the president herself are beyond kind, thoughtful, and compassionate advocates for both the surrogates and the parents. My first journey with an intended mother was halted due to Covid and my second journey did not have an ideal outcome. My experiences with Genesis were amazing! I found this company on the website. I didn't know well what egg donor is. They explained to me my first language. It was really helpful to understand it. Also, when I had questions, they replied to me as soon as possible. I don't have any complain to them and I can trust them. At the end, I did egg donor three times. I had side effects after Egg retrieval (because of my personal basic condition, not for everyone), and it was really hard time for me. But they always helped me, care of me, and listened me more than a clinic. They have enough knowledges to give advice. If I didn't have them, I was lonely and anxious. I'm full of gratitude. I had two rounds of successful egg donation with Genesis Group. The first round was my very first experience of being the donor. I didn't know anything about the procedure but they explained everthing to the detail and made me feel very comfortable to get into the process. The whole process including the trip was very smooth and I always had access to contact them to ask any question or concern. I'm a Japanese donor, and it was relieved that I had an agent who I could talk in Japanese, and that helped understand everything better as well. I've only had one experience with the Genesis group so far. I was a first -time donor in 2021 and I have no words to describe how welcoming and attentive everyone was from day one when I was getting screened up until long after I had gone through the retrieval process. They're such a fantastic group to work with and were incredibly supportive every step of the way - including coming over DAILY to help me out with hormone injections prior to my retrieval when I wasn't comfortable doing the shots by myself. Our experience as Intended Parents with Genesis was so amazing! When we first started looking at agencies, we were a bit overwhelmed but our clinic gave us a short list of the ones they recommended and it just so happened that Genesis was also one that we had previously researched online. We had an initial consult with them (and two other agencies just to do our due diligence) and felt like Genesis was the best fit for us. Everyone we have talked to since signing on with them has been warm, understanding, and on top of things, including explaining each step to us. Our first embryo transfer didn't work and Genesis was so supportive to both us and our surrogate. Luckily our second transfer did work and they were with us every step of the way during the pregnancy to make sure that everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Our surrogate told us the same on her end, including making sure the bills were always paid on time. The surrogate that we matched with was such a perfect fit for our personalities and will be forever a part of our family! We have since referred a colleague and a friend to them. I completed a surrogacy journey with Genesis in July. I could not ask for a better company to work with. Everyone was so personable and kind. The women who donate are treated like livestock here. All of the employees will be extremely nice until you sign papers and get matched to a family. I was treated so unprofessionally and rudely by the coordinators and nurses. The only people who treated me like a human being and took time to answer my questions were the doctors. One of the nurses couldn't even answer any of my questions regarding the medical testing and couldn't take my blood sample correctly! She poked the needle too deep and bruised my arm! People like that should not be working in the medical field if they cannot perform a simple task like taking a blood sample. This experience made me realize that I need to be very careful and selective with the company that I choose to donate my eggs to.…
I wish I could give 10 Stars to Genesis Group, especially to our coordinator Ting. I successfully helped my friend's couple living in Northeast Asia encounter a marvelous baby boy in late April this year. I checked my emails and found my initial contact with Wendy at Genesis was back in December 2018. My email exchanges with Genesis, mostly with Ting, counted over 400. Egg donation and surrogacy is undeniably a long and winding road, but Genesis has been fully on our side throughout the journey. The newborn boy has become the ultimate happiness for everybody - the intended parents and their family, the surrogate who is a living angel, and many more including myself. The Reproductive Law Center (RLC) and CHA Fertility Center in LA which Genesis introduced to us also did a great job. Genesis Group knows exactly what it is and should be doing and has always been true to what it enumerated on the retainer and the cost sheet. Warning for prospective parents: Genesis Group Egg Donation and Surrogacy Afency I’m a 21year old female who attends a good graduate school and has published achievements. This agency found me on Facebook and messaged me offering $50-100k for my eggs for my intelligence. The lady even mentioned that other donors only get $6000-8000 for their eggs. It really angered me that the agency was looking for college students on Facebook and messaging them. We are a vulnerable population, many of us burdened with student loans. Offering $50-100k to vulnerable student populations is a very low way to find egg donors. I am getting a graduate degree in healthcare and am very passionate about reproductive technologies. I strongly empathize with those who struggle with fertility and understand through my own family’s experiences. This agency should be ashamed for finding vulnerable female college students, Facebook messaging them, and luring them in with financial incentives. I admire people who become egg donors for sharing the potential of life. Agencies should not be looking for donors by luring them in with financial incentive, especially if these couples are looking for intelligent donors with published achievements and willing to pay such high compensation.…

I delivered September 25th. This was my first journey as a surrogate. I could not of been any more happier. They made my experience so amazing. I love this agency!!! This was my first time as a surrogate and I have had the best experience. The agency really cares about their intended parents but they also appreciate and care so much about their surrogates as well. I always felt like they had my best interest in mind. I have now been a surrogate for this group twice. Both experiences were amazing. Staff was/is always in contact with me making sure I was ok and to make sure there were no concerns. I couldn’t imagine using any other surrogacy agency for any of my journeys. They make the process so simple and always have your best interest. I just completed my first surrogate journey with Genesis on March 29th and I can honestly say I was overwhelmed by the amount of support the group gives. They make you feel like you are family in the best way possible! My coordinator was always just a call away, day or night. My delivery didn’t go according to plan so I delivered early, and she was on it and had everything taken care of so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I am a current surrogate with this agency at 21 weeks now. I have no complaints. Since the very beginning they have been very understanding and patient with me. Everything was fast and they keep you updated along the process. They are very knowledgeable, patient, and caring. If I were to decide to do this again, I would do it with Genesis again in a heartbeat.

Having to turn to surrogacy to have a family isn’t an easy decision and also in our case was really the only option in order to do so. So when we then had to decide which agency to use it felt a bit daunting. We wanted to get matched right away but knew it might take a while. When we decided to go with Genesis Group it was such a perfect fit. They were extremely realistic and transparent from start to finish and also gave us information at the right time instead of overwhelming us. I can truly say without our case manager Erica we wouldn’t have our perfect baby girl. She really invested in our journey, matched us with the most incredible surrogate who we still talk to all the time, and just made such a stressful process as seamless as possible. Hey GC’s and IP’s! I thought I would share my experience as a surrogate with The Genesis Group because it was not only a special experience but a blessing for myself and my family. I feel like any mother who is done building her family, and has the desire to help build someone else’s family through surrogacy, deserves to have the amazing experience that I did. When I first started my surrogacy journey, I didn’t know where to look or what to ask. I had a friend recommend a surrogacy agency to me. This was the one I ultimately decided to go with, and I’m so glad I did. However, I did do my own reading on surrogacy and wanted to make sure I was choosing the right agency! I called different agencies, and soon learned what I should be asking and what I needed to know to make sure the agency was right for me. The agency I chose has many great reviews, all my continuous questions were handled with complete transparency. I also think it is really awesome that the president of the agency is the co-founder and board member of The SEEDS Organization. From the beginning, I had a clear vision of each step that the surrogacy process entailed and I had immense support throughout my whole journey. Whenever I did feel like I was drowning with all the new information I was taking in as a first time surrogate, my case manager kept me afloat. I had my embryo transfer in the beginning of January 2020. I carried twins through the year of Covid, and though I delivered them a little early, everything was seamlessly arranged and handled with care & support. From having the support of my amazing case manager (and a whole team of dedicated intake coordinators, case managers, and agency owners, to my assigned case manager being there at my medical screening, at my embryo transfer, and when I neared delivery time - there she was waiting for my call to tell her that I was going into labor and continued to show care for me after I delivered. The twins did need NICU time since I delivered a bit early. I would go visit them, have skin to skin contact, and drop off my pumped milk to the nurses. The parent of the babies stayed in an Airbnb for an extended time close by, and my family would go visit with them and I would drop breastmilk off to them. Now, the twins are healthy, happy, and beautiful 3 year olds (almost 4) and I am thankful I receive updates to this day. The family even plans on visiting me later this year. I’ll forever be incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to be their surrogate. They will always have a special place in my heart. Like I said, I was a first time surrogate, and I feel incredibly blessed to have had the experience I did. I highly recommend if you are interested in surrogacy, do your due diligence and research different agencies to make sure you’re choosing the right one. Find what’s important to you. Some may advertise for very high compensation but most GC’s aren’t in this for the compensation alone. Surrogacy is beautiful when done right, compensation isn’t top priority when it comes to something so extraordinary as carrying someone else’s baby for them. Some agencies advertise super high compensation - not only is this unethical but it leave future GC’s with unrealistic expectations. There is more that goes into being a surrogate, and I’m really glad I had the best of the best by my side through my journey.
