About

Our founder, Meryl B. Rosenberg, is the director of ARTparenting and oversees the surrogacy guidance and legal services we provide for family formation through assisted reproductive technologies and adoption. Meryl is a key innovator in the development, education, and regulation of reproductive law. She holds leadership roles in the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Technology Attorneys (AAAA) the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the American Bar Association Family Law Division, Family Equality Council, Resolve, and the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation. In 2017, after years of advocacy by Meryl and other attorneys, a breakthrough new surrogacy law took effect legalizing surrogacy arrangements in the District of Columbia. Meryl received her BA from Brandeis University, attended the University of Maryland School of Law and received her JD from Wayne State University. She is admitted to the bar in Maryland, District of Columbia, New Jersey (formally admitted in Michigan).
