About
Raquel brings more than 38 years of experience in fertility care, third-party reproduction, and family building to her role as Program Director of MX Familia. She began her career at The Fertility Center of Las Vegas, where she spent over 25 years serving in a variety of roles, including Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant Supervisor. During that time, she had the privilege of supporting patients through fertility treatments, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and some of the most meaningful milestones in their journeys. She later transitioned into third-party case management, where she spent 13 years working closely with intended parents, egg donors, and gestational carriers. Through these experiences, Raquel developed a deep passion for helping families achieve their dreams of parenthood and building meaningful relationships with those she serves. Her extensive clinical knowledge, leadership experience, and compassionate approach allow her to guide families through both the medical and emotional aspects of their journeys with confidence and care. What motivates Raquel most is the opportunity to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. She understands that family-building journeys can be complex and emotional, requiring patience, trust, transparency, and unwavering support. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to ethical surrogacy practices and ensuring that intended parents and gestational carriers receive the guidance and advocacy they deserve. Raquel believes that helping create families is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable, and she takes great pride in supporting individuals through some of the most significant moments of their lives. She is also passionate about education and advocacy, frequently sharing her expertise through professional panels, conferences, and industry discussions focused on third-party reproduction and ethical surrogacy practices. Outside of work, Raquel’s greatest joy is her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and loved ones, and treasures opportunities to gather together and create lasting memories. A passionate traveler and lifelong learner, she loves exploring new destinations, experiencing different cultures, and discovering local cuisine wherever she goes. At home, she enjoys cooking for family and friends, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and reality television, and learning about history. Her warmth, dedication, and genuine passion for helping others make her an invaluable resource for the families, surrogates, and colleagues she serves through MX Familia and US Surrogacy LLC.
